The Neurology of Victory | Pr. Daniel Gordan Aug 11, 2025
    Show notes

Peter instructs believers to long for God's Word with the same intensity that babies crave milk—with urgency and complete focus. Our brains constantly rewire themselves through neuroplasticity, forming pathways that become stronger with repetition. When we experience pleasure, dopamine reinforces our desires, but many harmful stimuli can hijack this system. The profound exchange between Jesus and Peter reveals that when we confess who Jesus is, He declares who we are. By intentionally creating neural pathways focused on Christ rather than controversy, we can rewire our brains for faith instead of fear.

The God Who Stops For You | Pr. Junior Vertus Aug 04, 2025
    Show notes

In Luke 19, we meet Zacchaeus, a wealthy chief tax collector who felt empty despite his riches and status. Determined to see Jesus, he overcame obstacles—including a hostile crowd and his short stature—by climbing a sycamore tree. When Jesus spotted him, He called Zacchaeus by name and invited Himself to his house. This personal encounter transformed Zacchaeus completely, leading him to give half his possessions to the poor and repay fourfold anyone he had cheated. His story teaches us that no obstacle should prevent us from seeking Jesus, and when Jesus enters our lives, everything changes.

Teach Us How to Count | Pr. Paul Ratsara Jul 28, 2025
    Show notes

Learning to count our days correctly means living with the awareness that our time is limited. The Bible warns against assuming we have tomorrow, as seen in Proverbs 27:1 and James 4:13-16. When we count wrongly, we tend to delay obedience, postpone reconciliation, and procrastinate in sharing the gospel. Instead, we should approach each day as if it were our last, holding our plans loosely while committing our works to God. This perspective leads to spiritual growth, deeper relationships, and a sense of urgency about God's mission.

He’s Knocking. Will You Set the Table? | Pr. Daniel Gordan Jul 22, 2025
    Show notes

Jesus stands at the door of our hearts, knocking to come in and dine with us. Through the stories of Martha and Mary and the Samaritan woman, we learn that Jesus' favorite meal isn't physical food but our attentive listening, heart transformation, and obedient response to His teaching. When we open our hearts to Him, we must 'set the table' by giving Him our full attention, allowing His words to transform us, responding with obedience, and sharing His message with others. The invitation is clear - Jesus wants intimate fellowship with us now, but we must prepare what He truly desires.

Egypt to Canaan with Consequences – First Moves | Eldr. Jon Gusky Jul 14, 2025
    Show notes

God's timing and purpose often differ from our expectations, as demonstrated in Israel's journey from Egypt to Canaan. Before promising Abraham countless descendants, God first declared Himself as Abraham's greatest reward—a reminder that our relationship with God should be our primary focus. The 400-year slavery in Egypt served multiple divine purposes: giving the Amorites time to repent and preparing Israel spiritually. At Kadesh Barnea, most Israelites failed to trust God despite His previous miracles, focusing on obstacles rather than promises. God's ultimate purpose isn't merely to deliver us from bondage but to transform us into people who fully trust Him and reflect His character to the world.

Where Is the God of Justice | Pr. Jay Gallimore Jul 07, 2025
    Show notes

In Malachi, the Israelites questioned God's justice, asking where He was amid evil and suffering. God's response was both a promise and a warning: He would come, but who could endure His perfect justice? The answer lies in the harmony of justice and mercy, perfectly demonstrated in Jesus Christ. On the cross, Jesus absorbed the justice we deserved, offering forgiveness even to those who crucified Him. This profound sacrifice calls us to extend the same forgiveness to others, recognizing that we all need mercy rather than justice.

Prerequisites to a New World, Part 3 | Jon Gusky Jul 03, 2025
    Show notes

The story of Noah reveals profound lessons for our time, not just a children's tale about animals on a boat. Noah walked with God daily for 120 years, preaching righteousness while building the ark, yet only eight people were saved. His faithfulness despite apparent failure demonstrates true discipleship isn't measured by numbers but by obedience. The ark itself symbolizes God's atonement and salvation, with the Hebrew word for 'pitch' being the same used elsewhere for 'atonement.' Noah's commission after the flood parallels Jesus' Great Commission, challenging us to walk daily with God, trust His promises, and be willing to stand alone when necessary.

Prerequisites to a New World, Part 2 | Kimberly Spare Jul 02, 2025
    Show notes

Noah's story teaches us about the prerequisites for entering God's new world. Like Noah, we must maintain communication with God, accept His invitation to salvation, and extend that invitation to others. We often try to negotiate with God rather than fully obeying, but obedience—though sometimes uncomfortable like life on the ark—is always safer than compromise. When God calls us to an assignment, He equips us for it, and His love completes our preparation for the new world He's creating.

Prerequisites to a New World, Part 1 | Kaden Spare Jul 01, 2025
    Show notes

Noah's faithfulness to God's call, despite not fully understanding it, saved humanity and gave us a second chance. What set Noah apart was his strong foundation in the Lord, which gave him strength and perseverance to complete an impossible task while others continued in sin. Many of us make excuses about time, money, or equipment when God calls us to build our 'arks.' However, like Noah, we must trust God's plan even when we don't understand it, recognizing that God doesn't choose perfect people—He chooses available people who will surrender to Him.

The Ultimate Call | Pr. Oleg Lotca Jun 23, 2025
    Show notes

God has appointed His people as watchmen to warn the world of spiritual dangers in these last days. The Three Angels' Messages of Revelation 14 contain the entire gospel and unmask Satan's deceptions. Literature distribution plays a crucial role in spreading this final warning, with books like 'The Great Controversy' having special importance. Even when books aren't immediately read, God ensures they'll be found when needed. Through simple methods and ordinary people, God will finish His work, with thousands being converted in a single day, many through reading Adventist publications.
