    The NHL Prepares for Three Game Six's in the Second Round Sep 02, 2020

    Arthur Staple from the Athletic NYC joins Scott to recap the Islanders overtime loss to Philadelphia in game five. The guys look back on the last time the Islanders qualified in the NHL's Eastern Conference Final, back in 1993, the loss of Matt Barzal in game five, and how this Barry Trotz led Islanders team continues to get the job done without the luxury of a marquee player on the roster.

    We head South to discuss the Stars and Avalanche series with Dallas Stars analyst Daryl 'Razor' Reaugh. Razor and Scott discuss the series in which five different goalies have made an appearance, the coming out party for Miro Heiskanen and if we have indeed seen the last of Ben Bishop vs Colorado. Plus Daryl and Scott look at the gutsy effort by Thatcher Demko as Vancouver stole a huge game 5 vs the powerhouse Vegas Golden Knights, to stretch their series to a 6th game in the Edmonton bubble.

    Fluto takes a closer look at the Bruins who are on the brink of elimination, as they get set to play game 5 of their series vs Tampa tonight, and that game 5 could be the final gamer that Zdeno Chara plays in the NHL.

    We head West and Welcome Thomas Drance, from the Athletic Vancouver. Drance recaps Marc-Andre Fleury's performance in game 4, as Vegas comes from behind in game 4, to sweep the back to back games vs the Canucks this weekend. Drancer and Scott also discuss the shock of the other western series with Dallas set to eliminate Stanley Cup favorite Colorado in 5 games.

    The Athletic's Ryan Clark joins Scott to discuss a historic night in sport, and how the NHL missed the opportunity to be a leader, to be a part of a solution to the continued social and racial unrest in the United States and beyond.

    Ryan and Scott do get to the action on the ice. Colorado, the team that Ryan primarily covers, collected their first win in the series vs the Dallas Stars. Colorado, thought to be a Stanley Cup favorite almost saw themselves go down 3 games to none to the Stars when they surrendered a three goal lead in the second period..

    Ryan and Scott wonder what the NHL does with the two games scheduled in the NHL this evening between New York and Philadelphia and Vegas and Vancouver, and beyond that, where do we go from here?

    Bolts & Canucks Bounce Back, Busy Off-season Begins in Toronto & Pittsburgh Aug 26, 2020

    Pierre and Scott are together again and the boys are full value for this podcast. The guys look back on pivotal game 2 wins for Vancouver and Tampa Bay last night in the second round vs Vegas and Boston.

    NHL's 2nd Round Relentlessly Moves Forward Aug 25, 2020

    Keith Jones from NBC Sports joins Scott to discuss the accelerated NHL Playoffs, that have kept him busy as he sets up shop at NBC headquarters in Connecticut.

    Jonesy discusses the game one win for the Islanders over Philadelphia, Tampa looking back to get in their series with Boston and what moves the Flyers and Lightning need to make to get back into their respective series.

    We head West for an early morning chat with Mike McKenna, the analyst for the Vegas Golden Knights. Mike discusses the condensed schedule in these playoffs, and how challenging it is for goaltenders. Mike looks back on game two between Dallas and Colorado, and the somewhat shocking result that sees the Stars up 2 games to none over the favorite from Denver.

    Mike also discusses the dominant performance that Vegas gave in game one vs the Vancouver Canucks, and if Vancouver has a chance in this series with the Stanley Cup Favorite from Nevada.

    Coaching Change in DC, Controversial Agent Tweet, Ahead of Round Two in the Stanley Cup Playoffs Aug 24, 2020

    Colby Cohen, the studio analyst for the Flyers on TV, joins Scott to discuss the coaching change in Washington with the Capitals firing Todd Reirden. Colby also talks about the Flyers getting past Montreal in the first round and how they matchup with the New York Islanders. Plus Colby and Scott look back game one of the Bolts and Bruins.

    We head West to St. Louis to discuss the Western Conference with Darren Pang. Panger discusses the controversial tweet that Allan Walsh put out in support of his client Marc-Andre Fleury, who has lost his job in Vegas to Robin Lehner. Panger also discusses the disappointing playoff showing for the St. Louis Blues, and the future of Captain Alex Pietrangelo with the team. Panger and Scott also look at the two remaining Western series with Dallas upsetting Colorado in game one, and Vegas rolling over the Canucks in their game one last night in Edmonton.

    The Bubble Is a Challenge for Everyone, It's How You Tackle It That Determines Your Fate Aug 21, 2020

    The editor in chief of the Athletic Montreal, Arpon Basu joins Scott to discuss the Eastern Conference first round series. The Washington Capitals couldn't have looked more disinterested in their series with the New York Islanders, as Barry Trotz completely out coached Todd Reirden and the Isles advanced to the 2nd round.

    Arpon also discusses the controversial hit that Matt Niskanen lay on Brendan Gallagher, the one game suspension that came with it, and Gallagher being lost to the Habs for the remainder of this series. Game 6 between Philadelphia and Montreal is Friday night from Toronto.

    We head West to Dallas, as Sean Shapiro has a recap of the historic 6th game between the Stars and the Calgary Flames which saw the Stars down by three goals, only to see Dallas vault past the Flames to eliminate them by 4 goals. Sean praises the coming out party in this playoff for Miro Heiskanen and Denis Guriaonv and how the emergence of these two players certainly helps Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.
