“This is not accidental. I had to take my own life to pay for the one I took."

The man was Zack Bowen...

#116 Double Jeopardy Nov 18, 2020

Show notes

It's more than just a 1999 film starring Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones..

The Double Jeopardy Clause in the Fifth Amendment of the U.S Constitution prohibits anyone from being prosecuted twice for substantially the same crime. The relevant part of the Fifth Amendment states, "No person shall . . . be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb . . . . "

Speaking of double jeopardy.. R.I.P Alex Trebec

Jennifer had separated from the boy's father and was living with a new boyfriend, 28 year old Michael Lane. February 10th, 1991, Jennifer went to church and left Michael at home to babysit PJ...and that was the last time Little PJ was seen alive.

#114 The Texarkana Phantom Killer Oct 28, 2020

Show notes

Texarkana is a city in the U.S. state of Arkansas and the county seat of Miller County. The city is located across the state line from its twin city, Texarkana, Texas. The city was founded at a railroad intersection on December 8, 1873, and was incorporated in Arkansas on August 10, 1880

Some people called Texarkana “Little Chicago,” because its location as a railroad hub brought great performers and famous politicians. But the rails also brought drifters and criminally inclined strangers.
In 1946 The town was shook by a series of attacks that are still unsolved today!
This episode contains a cover of Roger Miller's "A World So Full of Love".
