Gary Charles Evans Feb 01, 2021
    Show notes

Gary Charles Evans experienced a horrible childhood at the hands of his alcoholic parents. He was the victim of physical, psychological, and sexual abuse. He left out on his own at an early age and lived off the money he earned robbing stores and houses in New York. But, in 1985, Gary committed his first murder, and it seems as though it became easy for him after that. He killed store owners when they got in his way and he killed his accomplices when he thought they had stolen from him.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life and crimes of Gary Evans. He had a childhood that you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. And, it seems early on, he did whatever he felt he had to do to get the money he needed to survive. But, the question with Evans is why did he begin killing? His first murder was that of his partner and childhood friend. He mistakenly thought this man had stolen from him. Over the years, he murdered five people and spent a lot of time incarcerated. But, police never knew he was a murderer, right up to the time that he confessed. Gary then made the decision he would not be locked up forever or wait on death row for his execution. While be transporting from a court appearance, he jumped off a bridge over the Hudson River in what authorities have called a suicide.

Carroll Edward Cole Jan 25, 2021
    Show notes

Carroll Edward Cole was a serial killer who confessed to 14 murders but has said he may have murdered as many as 35 women. Cole was abused by his mother and later said that he preyed on women with similarities to his mother as a way to get back at her. Whatever the true number of his victims is, Cole was definitely a predator whose murders became more bizarre and taboo over the years.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the serial killer Carroll Cole. He had a childhood that would make people feel sorry for him if it wasn't for the fact that he first killed a male classmate at the age of 8 and then went on to kill a large number of women. He racked up a criminal record over the years, but, as we've seen with so many other killers, he was let out early many times to select his next victim.

    Stephanie Lazarus Jan 18, 2021
    Show notes

In 1986, Stephanie Lazarus was an LAPD officer who murdered her ex-boyfriend's wife, Sherri Rasmussen. Lazarus was still infatuated with her ex, John Ruetten, and decided to execute the woman she thought was her romantic rival. She used her police training to make the murder look like a robbery.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Sherri Rasmussen committed by Stephanie Lazarus. From the start, police were stuck on the theory that Sherri was killed by one or multiple burglars. Many people have said this caused them to not interview key witnesses or even take a hard look at John's ex-girlfriend. It took cold case investigators, over 20 years later, to put the pieces of the puzzle together. And when they did all signs pointed to Stephanie Lazarus. But, they had to tread carefully to take down one of their own.

William Dean Christensen Jan 11, 2021
    Show notes

William Dean Christensen is a serial rapist and serial killer who operated in both the United States and Canada. There is a lot of speculation regarding just how many murders Christensen committed, but estimates go as high as 30. William was caught many times over the years and even spent time in prison for many different offenses. But, each time, it seems as though he was let out after serving very little of his sentence only to commit additional crimes.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life and crimes of William Dean Christensen. He was active in many states along the west coast of the United States and also up in Canada. William used many different aliases during his murder spree which made it more difficult for authorities to track him. At one point, he was even charged and convicted of murder under an assumed name. This is a man with no regard for human life, but there are questions as to the true extent of his crimes.

    Margaret Rudin Jan 04, 2021
    Show notes

Margaret Rudin lived in fifteen different locations before she graduated high school. She married young and had children. By the 1980s, she was living in Las Vegas when she met and married Ron Rudin. It was the fifth marriage for both Ron and Margaret. But it was a rocky marriage filled with deceit and infidelity. Ron Rudin vanished just before Christmas in 1994, and when his body was found in a steamer trunk, the police zeroed in on his wife Margaret.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss "Black Widow" Margaret Rudin. She did a lot of strange things before and after her husband's death. She was definitely on police radar but they couldn't put enough evidence together to charge her. That changed when a diver found the murder weapon in a lake near Las Vegas. But, Margaret wasn't going to go quietly, she ran. It took authorities two years, and the help of America's Most Wanted, to track Margaret down. Even after her conviction, and recent release from prison, questions remain about what really happened to Ron Rudin and just exactly who was involved.

Ronald Gene Simmons Dec 21, 2020
    Show notes

Ronald Gene Simmons committed the worst family massacre in the history of the US. Around Christmas in 1987, Simmons murdered 14 members of his family over a period of about four days in Arkansas. Then, several days after Christmas, Simmons went on a shooting rampage trying to get back at various people he felt had wronged him over the years. He murdered two more people and injured many others.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the monster, Ronald Gene Simmons. How could a man murder his entire family? Simmons never disclosed the exact reasons behind his murders but theories abound. This was a man who ruled his family with an iron fist. He was physically abusive and limited the locations his family members could go. Outsiders were rarely allowed inside the Simmons home. One of the biggest clues might revolve around a charge of incest against Simmons years prior. He was charged with incest against his eldest daughter and the criminal acts produced a child.

    Napoleon Beazley Dec 14, 2020
    Show notes

On the surface, 17-year-old Napoleon Beazley appeared to be an all-American kid. He was a star athlete in both football and track as a senior at his high school in Grapeland, Texas. He came from a good family, and his classmates elected him as the senior class president. But, under the surface, Napoleon was much different than the persona that he showed to everyone. Reports had him dealing crack cocaine and carrying a gun. He began telling friends he would soon be driving a Mercedes to school. On the night of April 19, 1994, Napoleon, along with Cedric and Donald Coleman, set out looking for a Mercedes to carjack. They followed 63-year-old John Luttig, and his wife Bobbie, into the driveway of their home. John was shot dead, all for an automobile.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the brutal and senseless crimes committed by Napoleon Beazley. His cohorts painted him as the ringleader and the triggerman. The physical evidence left little doubt that he was at the crime scene. He was convicted and given a death sentence. The case brought out many people who thought it was wrong to execute someone who was only 17 at the time they committed their crimes. Find out what happened to Napoleon as well as his partners in crime, brothers Cedric and Donald Coleman.
