    Benjamin Atkins Jun 21, 2021
    Show notes

Benjamin Atkins was a serial killer and rapist who operated in the Detroit area in 1991 and 1992. He is considered by the FBI to be America's fastest serial killer because he murdered 11 women in such a short span of time. Atkins preyed on women along Detroit's Woodward Avenue and his M.O. remained consistent. He targeted sex workers because his mother was a sex worker who took him with her and he was forced to see things that no child should have to witness.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the horrific details of serial killer Benjamin Atkins. He took the lives of 11 women during an 8-9 month time span, but, it was his only victim that managed to escape who ultimately brought him down. Atkins experienced a terrible childhood, and his defense argued that it was this childhood that ultimately made him the predator he became.

    HH Holmes Apr 26, 2021

HH Holmes is often called one of the first serial killers in the United States. Born Herman Mudgett, he took on various aliases over his life, including his most famous one, HH Holmes. Holmes was a con artist and a serial killer. While living in Chicago, he built what many have called his "murder castle." Although he was only tried and convicted of one murder, historians agree that he killed many more, some people believe the number of his murders could top 200. Was Holmes a con artist who killed to keep from getting caught? Or, did he find out that enjoyed killing and began killing as a way to satisfy an urge?
