This was years before any whiff of problems with Facebook or Google selling consumers data as a revenue generator. Before becoming passionate about the intersection of venture capital and entrepreneurship, Craig was fascinated with the world of telecommunications specifically with digital devices which can be traced back to the ‘90s, when he worked in Japan for companies including Dentsu, Sony, McCaw and AT&T. 122: What It’s Like To Go From High School Dropout to Multi-Millionaire Author/Marketing Guru w/ Danny Iny, Mirasee [Main T4C Episode] Feb 28, 2019
    Show notes

Danny Iny is the founder and CEO of Mirasee and best-selling author of nine published books, including his newest book: Leveraged Learning. He is the host of the Business Reimagined Podcast and is also the creator of the acclaimed Course Builder’s Laboratory training program, which provides all the instruction, coaching, and support that entrepreneurs need to build and launch a profitable online course. All of this grew out of humble beginnings; Danny dropped out of high school at age 15 because he was bored. And while he made several wrong turns, he’s fond of saying that failure isn’t the end of the story—it’s a “plot twist.” Back in 2011, Danny started Firepole Marketing with less than nothing; he had no traffic, no subscribers, no relationships with any influencers in the industry, and over a quarter million dollars in personal debt, left over from his last failed startup. In just a few short years, he transformed Firepole Marketing into Mirasee and grew the business to multiple-seven figures in revenue.

    Show notes

She formerly hosted the NPR show “The Big Listen,” a “broadcast about podcasts,” where she got to observe and report on the podcast industry budding before her own eyes. But before Lauren found her passion for radio, she worked as a newspaper reporter until a career hiccup prompted her to take an audio storytelling workshop with Transom that changed her career forever. Lauren describes her career path as “winding,” and Washington D.C. has been a major landmark for her: she got her undergrad at American University in Justice and Public Affairs. After getting her MA in Journalism at Syracuse University, she later returned to the city to freelance and work for NPR member radio station, WAMU. Since then, Lauren has racked up three years of hosting with “The Big Listen,” a nationally distributed NPR show that ended in May of 2018. She is now starting work on a new (not yet announced) show for American Public Media that will air in May of 2019.

118: What Ziva Meditation is All About w/ Emily Fletcher, Ziva Meditation [K-Cup TripleShot] Feb 22, 2019
    Show notes

Emily Fletcher is founder of Ziva and the creator of the Ziva Meditation Technique, which combines mindfulness, meditation and manifesting to promote high performance. A former showgirl on Broadway, Emily came to the practice of meditation when she realized that she’d achieved her dream of acting on Broadway, and yet she was miserable. She was experiencing extremely high levels of stress, and they showed on her body: she kept getting sick and injured, making it hard to perform; she even started going gray at 26; and she had chronic insomnia. It wasn’t until she began meditating that she was able to stop the harrowing effects this career-induced stress had had on her body. Ziva meditation was the first company to offer online meditation training. These days Emily is a new mom and an extremely successful CEO who leveled up her life thanks to just 20 minutes of meditation twice a day. Her new book, Stress Less, Accomplish More, is about the Ziva technique and its potential power to change human consciousness. The book came out in February 2019 and can be ordered here.
