Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

Santa Anita Pauses Olympic Oak Removal Sep 10, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (9.09) Santa Anita pulled its permit to cut 34 protected oaks for the 2028 Olympic course. Plus: Barry Melrose, who took the Gretzky Kings to the Cup Final, dead at 70. (161 characters)

8:05 — A 25-year-old was arrested Monday night near Kris Jenner's place after her private security stopped him in the neighborhood. Deputies booked him on suspicion of stalking; he's charged with one misdemeanor count of trespassing. And in Torrance, 499 condo owners each got a bill for more than $49,000 to cover $19 million in re-piping, elevators and a full podium rebuild.

8:20 — Barry Melrose has died at 70. The mullet, the suits, twenty-seven years at ESPN — but in this town he's the guy who walked in as a rookie head coach in 1992 and took Gretzky's Kings to the franchise's first Stanley Cup Final.

8:35 — Malibu declared a local emergency after a sinkhole roughly 30 by 60 feet and 25 to 30 feet deep opened in a driveway on Sea Level Drive. Down in Dana Point, eight homes on Beach Road are red-tagged and one has already been demolished. Meanwhile Santa Anita has hit pause on its permit to remove 34 protected oaks for the Olympic cross-country course, and LADOT wants to cut Sunset down to one lane each way from Silver Lake to downtown.

8:50 — The humidity is the whole story. Downtown's heat index topped out around 116 today, which is why 98 degrees felt like standing in a dryer.

HOA Special Assessment Hits $49K A Unit Sep 10, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (9.09) A Torrance HOA billed 499 condos $49,000 each for $19 million in repairs. State law caps what a board can do alone. Plus: Rolling Loud: The Movie guys in studio. (160 characters)

9:05 — Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill has been the Valley's living room since 1978, and now the strip mall around it is getting torn down. Angela Marsden — yes, that Angela Marsden — got a 60-day notice and a verbal promise she'd be welcomed back. Verbal. The In-N-Out on the same lot is staying put. Sign the petition https://www.change.org/p/save-pineapple-hill-saloon-grill

9:20 — Dillon Hennessy and Myles Goldman stop by to talk "Rolling Loud: The Movie," out October 2. Owen Wilson smuggles his 13-year-old into the loudest hip-hop festival on earth against his wife's explicit orders, loses him inside of an hour, and spends the rest of the film tearing through mosh pits with Matt Rife. Henry Winkler, Christine Ko, Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ty Dolla $ign and Ski Mask the Slump God all show up.

9:35 — The promo plan is a campus concert tour and a bus collecting influencers across the country for the premiere. The guys explain why you sell a hip-hop movie the way you'd sell a festival: on the ground, in person, and loud.

9:50 — A Torrance condo owner opened a bill for more than $49,000. So did the other 498 owners in his complex — $19 million total, $13 million of it to rebuild the podium, the rest for re-piping and elevators. They've sued and they're trying to recall the board. Under Davis-Stirling, anything past 5% of the annual budget needs a vote of the members, unless the board declares an emergency. Guess which box got checked.

Hurricanes to Heatwaves, It’s a Week of Wild and Wiggy Weather! Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 1 (9.04) Sepulveda Pass on the 405 — after a rare storm dropped about 1.5 inches of rain across Los Angeles and even Antelope Valley. The much-hyped hurricane mostly fizzled into rain instead of chaos, but Long Beach and Huntington Beach are still dealing with a huge swell, and the next threat is already here: extreme heat, high humidity, and possible 100-degree temps on the coast.

Then it’s HOA sticker shock out of Torrance, where condo owners got hit with a $50,000 special assessment each, plus a look at the viral Gen Z “darty” wellness-party trend of barely dressed college kids doing yoga and runs on frat-house lawns.

    Cargo-Plane Crashes and Emmy-Award Smashes Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 2 (9.04) Nathan Fielder’s new documentary on imprisoned Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, then aviation buff. Amazon Prime cargo jet that crashed near Miami International Airport on a flight from San Juan, killing five people on the ground.

KFI’s queen of entertainment Heather Brooker joins him to unpack the Creative Arts Emmys — why the awards now sprawl across multiple nights instead of one big TV celebration, plus the big winners “Widow’s Bay” and “Spider Noir.” September in LA already feels like awards season as they talk “below the line” honors, overseas series being lifted from South Korea and India, a tearjerker posthumous Emmy for Rob Reiner’s guest role on “The Bear,” and 90-year-old Julie Andrews picking up her fourth Emmy for her “Bridgerton” voice-over. Andy closes with Listener Talkbacks, naming and shaming the best of the bunch — and a whole lot of people who, like the crew, really hate their HOA. And Ed Moore.

No ‘Stairway’! And as it Turns Out, No Encores Either! Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 3 (9.04) Shouting like a brat at newsman Rick Chambers mid-broadcast at Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd. Then he and the crew dive into the latest concert trend — no encores! — before launching Andy’s favorite caller game, Solo 2 Solo, where he plays stripped-down guitar-only tracks and listeners guess the song and artist.

A caller from Japan comes close twice, the next listener nails Pantera’s “Walk,” and the show pays respects to the late Dimebag Darrell. More Solo 2 Solo follows as KFI listeners prove they’re as bad at listening as the Riesmeyer crew, with a salute to the late George Harrison rounding out a loud, chaotic, music-nerd hour.

It’s Bubble Trouble for Gen Z, Who Are Done with Spicy Water Sep 08, 2026
    Show notes

Hour 4 (9.04) SoCal braces for a miserable heatwave that feels like 110 with 100% humidity — Foggy Bottom with palm trees. Gen Z is officially over “spicy water,” and vodka seltzer brands are reading the room and pulling the plug.

Then the crew rips into HOA hell: sky-high special assessments that have condo-dwelling Angelenos furious, including one Torrance building staring down a $50K hit — each. Listeners are invited to name-and-shame the people making their lives miserable, before Heather dives into stretched-out Emmys week.

“I Love Lucy” still winning hardware, Rob Reiner getting a posthumous Emmy for “The Bear” and a standing ovation that left no dry eyes, and a last-call hope that Hollywood’s working dreamers can keep the industry we love from circling the drain.
