    Tim Conway Jr. on Demand

Tim Conway Jr. can be heard live Monday–Friday from 6pm–10pm on KFI AM 640 and everywhere on the iHeartRadio App.

Follow the show on socials @ConwayShow.

Tim Conway Jr. brings his signature humor to breaking news, Los Angeles current events, Orange County stories, Riverside County headlines, the Inland Empire, live police chases, freeway traffic, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, the big sports stories of the day, politics, gambling, and everything happening across Southern California. With his finger on the pulse of what’s happening in SoCal and beyond, Conway delivers funny, fast-moving talk radio every weeknight on KFI AM 640.

Heard by listeners across the country and around the world on the iHeartRadio App, Conway’s humor, storytelling, and take on the current news of the day connect with audiences far beyond Southern California. His perspective is local, but his comedy, curiosity, and down-to-earth view of life translate across cultures, communities, and languages.

Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life.

During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal.

Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year. When he’s not entertaining listeners, Conway enjoys spending time with his family, supporting local charities, and hanging out at the racetracks.

💰 Nobody Won Powerball Again—Now It’s a Mind-Blowing $1.7 Billion! What Would YOU Do With the Money? Sep 05, 2025
    Show notes Hour -1 (9.4.2025)
The Powerball jackpot has surged to a staggering $1.7 billion after yet another drawing produced no winner. Odds of winning sit at an astronomical 1 in 292 million, but that isn’t stopping the frenzy. The last jackpot winner was all the way back on May 31, allowing the pot to snowball into near-record territory. While the current prize isn’t the all-time high (a $2.04 billion jackpot in 2022 still holds the crown), it’s still enough to make history for whoever holds the winning ticket.
If someone strikes it lucky, they’ll have the choice between a lump sum of roughly $770 million before taxes or 29 annual payouts that total the full $1.7 billion. It’s the kind of life-changing money that sparks endless imagination—dream homes, sports teams, private islands, or never working another day in your life.
So, the question remains: how would you spend $1.7 billion?

    Show notes Hour -2 (9.4.2025)
A Studio City balloon shop owner is heartbroken after his wife was detained by ICE — she already had two prior theft convictions, and now their family is reeling.
In Sherman Oaks, robbers stormed a mall jewelry store, smashing display cases in a brazen hit that left shoppers stunned.
Meanwhile, proof that ignoring email can come back to haunt you: someone in Columbus, Ohio, finally checked their inbox and found an interview request… from six months ago. Elsewhere in sports, Cowboys star Jalen Carter made headlines for all the wrong reasons — ejected just six seconds into the Cowboys–Eagles opener after a bizarre spitting incident.
And down in Orange County, Anaheim is trying to figure out how to better connect its sports venues with Disneyland, but no real solution has surfaced yet. Over in Irvine, locals say the city is being “invaded” — by delivery robots rolling through neighborhoods.

    Hour 3 (9.4.2025)
FIFA has unveiled ticket prices and sale dates for the upcoming World Cup, but Los Angeles fans are disappointed — the city will only host eight games.
Joining the show is Dean Sharp, “The House Whisperer” and custom home designer, host of HOME on KFI AM 640. Today’s topic: foundation repairs and what to do when the bottom falls out. Dean explains the best options for fixing foundation issues, often tied to soil conditions or drainage problems.
Meanwhile, Downtown Los Angeles — once revitalized during the boom of the Staples Center and new condo developments — now faces fresh backlash. Tenants are speaking out, calling some of the city’s apartments “unlivable.”

    Show notes

The Powerball jackpot has surged to $1.4 billion, sparking questions about company lotto pools and last-minute ticket grabs. The crew also debated whether Los Angeles feels more like a city of transplants or true locals, with Tim breaking the tension by sharing a funny memory of a third-grade classmate who never wore pants.
Nationwide, electrical rates have been climbing far faster than inflation since 2022, fueled by grid upgrades, wildfire prevention, rising demand from AI data centers, and soaring fuel costs. In California, investor-owned utilities have hit customers particularly hard, while Costco’s newest rules are stirring plenty of backlash.
Finally, just before the Powerball drawing, news broke that Air Canada passengers headed to Toronto had to make an emergency evacuation after a galley fire onboard.

“From Friday Night Lights to Real-Life Hero: Coach Rescues Driver From Fiery Crash” Sep 03, 2025
    Show notes

How often do you really wash your sheets and towels? It might seem like a small detail in your weekly routine, but in reality, it’s a cornerstone of health and well-being. Towels trap moisture, creating the perfect breeding ground for bacteria, mold, and even skin-irritating fungi. Sheets, meanwhile, quietly collect sweat, oils, dust mites, and allergens—layer by layer—night after night. Regular washing isn’t just about fresh scent or soft fabric; it’s about protecting your skin, your immune system, and your peace of mind.
Joining us to remind us how quickly life can turn on a single decision is Pioneer High School defensive backs coach Paul Rifino, the third hero who saved Stefan Cabezas, known to us as “The Foosh.” When Stefan’s car flipped and caught fire on the busy 105 freeway, Rifino was among those who rushed in. He not only helped pull Stefan from the burning wreckage—risking his own life as flames threatened to engulf them all—but then directed freeway traffic to protect others from further disaster. In our conversation, Paul shares what it was like in those harrowing seconds: the scramble to flip the car upright, the urgent knowledge that the vehicle could explode at any moment, and the weight of watching Stefan fight for his life. He also speaks to Stefan’s courage in the face of unimaginable danger and how close they all came to tragedy. It’s a story that reminds us: small, consistent acts—like washing your sheets and towels—protect us in quiet ways, while acts of extraordinary bravery—like Paul Rifino’s—can change the course of a life in an instant.
