Crosby is smiling again, sorta. With mixed emotions about getting a new dog and still feeling the loss of Picon, he struggles to find balance in moving forward and remembering the past. This is sometimes a real battle for us all. The good news is that Alex got a new bulldog and he named him Bruno! He is adjusting to life with Bruno and trying to fill the void of the sudden loss of Picon. The discussion weaves in and out of these feelings and the possibility of having kids and how they could really give Crosby what he’s looking for. He remains hard headed and stern in his stance of no kids, and even no marriage! Chad tries to break him and maybe he does, or at least gets close! He earned the right to be called Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2023 and now the projections are through the roof for this young phenom! Robby joins Chad in the studio to discuss his Northern Nevada upbringing, his parents and their encouragement, his discipline, his football career, and how he developed into a world-class athlete at such a young age! Picon is still on our minds as we continue with the conclusion of our conversation regarding the untimely passing of this awesome dog! Alex is adjusting to life without Picon and questioning whether or not he should get another dog right away or grieve and let some time pass. This isn’t an easy decision to make and this wasn’t an easy conversation to have. We try to keep part of it light by touching on some other topics but our hearts are broken over Picon and what Alex is going through. Dogs truly are man’s best friend! It’s amazing how close we get to our dogs. They instantly become part of our families and inner circles. We even sometimes think we can have conversations with them. They never judge us. They are always ready to go. And it’s hard to swallow when it’s time for them to go. To pass. To go where all dogs go, heaven. Picon was just this to Alex. His cornerstone. His rock! His best friend! We lost Picon, suddenly and surprisingly. It’s never easy and this one was extra tough because nobody was ready.
