Overview of the case in case you don't know: On the night of June 7, 2021 Alex Murdaugh called 911 to report that he had come home to find his wife and son "shot badly." His wife Maggie and son Paul were found dead on the family's sprawling property named "Moselle." They were found at the property kennels which were about ⅓ mile away from the main house. Both were shot multiple times; Paul was killed with a 12g shotgun and sustained 2 gunshot wounds: to his head and shoulder. This is gruesome but true- his brain was "blown out" of the right side of his head, completely severing his brain from his skull. Maggie was shot with a .300 Blackout AR-style rifle 5 times; through the left wrist, left thigh, her upper abdomen through the lower back, and a downward-trajectory shot to the right back of Maggie's head. Alex Murdaugh has maintained his innocence since the murders and stood trial in early 2023. This episode recaps the trial and the verdict. Hang with us:

On the morning of July 10th, 1981, shots rang out in the small town of Skidmore, Missouri. Outside of the D&G Tavern, the engine of a truck could be heard roaring to life, until it gave out, and eventually the engine blew. In the truck was the body of Ken Rex McElroy, who was known in Skidmore as the "town bully." Incredibly, with dozens of people surrounding the truck when the shooting took place, there were no witnesses who could identify the shooter, or shooters, besides McElroy's wife, who was in the truck beside him when he was shot. ***TRIGGER WARNING*** Murder - Rape of a Child / Child Abuse - Animal Abuse - Arson - Gun Violence - Vigilantism Hang with us:

Just after midnight on August 11th, 2003, Alaskan native, Sonya Ivanoff parted ways with her best friend and began the short walk home to her apartment from her friend's house. This would be the last time that 19-year-old Sonya was seen alive by her best friend. A few days later, Sonya's nude body was found just a few miles outside of her hometown of Nome, Alaska. She'd been shot once in the back of the head. Unfortunately, investigators were unable to find any DNA or obvious evidence at the scene or on Sonya's body. What came next made the entire community of Nome, and even Alaska, question if they were really safe. **TRIGGER WARNING: MMIW, sexual assault, murder** Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/G89VUbujX7Q Hang with us:
