    • If we know WE can’t be perfect, why do we expect our kids to be?
    • Our kids will come to us with problems if we are calm about it. Don’t be like Ming.
    • The analogy of the Panda- we need to prepare our girls for the changes they will experience with puberty
    • Communication is key! If our kids can’t communicate with us, we can’t understand what they are going through.
    • Avoid the pitfalls of “not my kid!” reactions. Know your child and don’t go on the defense when someone says they are less than perfect.
    • Encouraging our kids to embrace who they truly are- embrace the weirdness!

    Ella Greene is an actress, singer, dancer, author and student. She has performed in stage productions as Annie in Annie, Marty in Madagascar, Candy Man in Willy Wonka, Jane in Descendants, Pinocchio in Shrek, Chip in Beauty and the Beast, and she is about to be the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. Ella has written a few books including the Fastest Raindrop and Super Ella. She co-authored I Remember Heaven with her mom, Rebecca, and Magic of the Castle with her dad, Seth.

    You’ve asked, we listened! As Ella approaches her 13th birthday and her bat mitzvah, we thought it the perfect time to get to know Rebecca’s daughter Ella. Learn about her passion for acting, singing, and dancing. Get an inside point of view of a 13-year- old on navigating life, especially in these vastly different times.

    As a high-performance strategist for business leaders and professional athletes, Nora Tollenaar-Szanto has helped hundreds of clients overcome subconscious blocks and limiting beliefs to reach their full potential.
