56. Glen Cordova Talks Derek Trucks Band, Allman Brothers, and TTB May 22, 2021

Show notes

Long Island's own and hardcore Tedeschi Trucks Band fan, Glen Cordova recalls that when he was a kid, it was his sister’s boyfriend who actually introduced him to classic rock music. And pretty much since then, he hasn’t looked back. From Clapton to Buddy Guy to the Allman Brothers to Derek and Susan, family man Glen has always made sure music is a huge part of his life. After a scary bout with Covid, I’m glad he and his family are both doing well.

Show notes

Long Island’s own and one of our Tedeschi Trucks Band GiveButter raffle and auction organizers, the inspirational Lauri Lane grew up with Uncle Freddy as her music mentor as a kid. She has been to a countless amount of concerts in her life, including hundreds of TTB shows, but it’s hard to quantify just how much music means to Lauri. Her daughter Jessica, who was born with autism, was actually named after the Allman Brothers song, and we get into really how much music has helped Lauri’s family. givebutter.com/ttb, http://instagram.com/tedeschitruckspodcast, http://instagram.com/adamchoit, http://twitter.com/adamchoit, http://tedeschitrucksband.com

54. Linda Wolf Talks TTB, Leon Russell, and Photography May 02, 2021

Show notes

Recorded on a livestream, I’m joined by photographer and former guest of this podcast, Linda Wolf. Linda of course was one of the photographers on the original Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour and was once again at the reunion in 2015 with Leon Russell, original alum, TTB, and others. To support TTB’s Givebutter fund, Linda donated a beautiful print of photo of Derek, Susan, and Leon for a raffle, and we announced the winner during this episode. It was fun to catch up and Linda has so many great stories from her experiences photographing and interacting with some of our favorite music legends. givebutter.com/ttb, http://www.lindawolf.net/, http://instagram.com/tedeschitruckspodcast, http://instagram.com/adamchoit, http://twitter.com/adamchoit, http://tedeschitrucksband.com
