It is amazing the excuses people give for not having sex in their marriage! We did a instagram poll and asked the question "Do You Find It Hard To Find Time For Sexual Intimacy In Your Marriage" and "What Causes Sexual Intimacy To Be Less Of A Priority In Your Marriage?"
We weren't planning on doing this podcast episode but after hearing all the responses of "I am too tired" or "we don't have the time to have sex" we couldn't hold back. In this episode we are giving it to you and giving it to you straight and although some people listening may not like what we say, we have to say it. If you can't find 15 minutes one or two times a week to connect physically in your marriage, then your marriage is not a priority and we can't help, but for those of you who truly want to find more time or energy to make sexual intimacy a priority again, then you will want to listen to this episode.

86. Are You Falling Out Of Love? It's Not Too Late To Get The Passion And Intimacy Back Aug 30, 2022

Research shows around 50% of all marriages in the United States will end in divorce. That is a staggering statistic! Why is this happening and what is causing this trend? While there are probably many answers to this question, but couples are obviously falling out of love.
When couples are first dating, they do the things in the relationship that builds love and that continues to grow. They get married and think their whole life will be like it was when they were dating and the feelings will just grow, only to find out as time goes by, they slowing start to fall out of love. They stop working on the relationship, going on dates, doing fun things together and the things that caused them to fall in love. Love is something you have to constantly work on and for it to continue to grow, and if you stop doing the things that strengthen the love for each other, then the love is going to eventually wither away and die.
When love is absent in a marriage, you just end up with 2 people living with each other.
In this episode, Nick and Amy discuss the signs you could be falling out of love, and more importantly what you can do to change the direction and find "Ultimate Intimacy" again.

82. How Your Husband Really Feels When You Reject Him Sexually Aug 16, 2022

According to MANY Divorce Attorneys, lack of intimacy is rated the #2 reason for divorce. #1 is most often infidelity.. which can often be the result of #2 (lack of intimacy).
Bottom line, lack of intimacy/sex is one of THE main causes of divorce. There are so many couples that have deep love for each other and get along great, have fun times together and have everything a good and healthy relationship has…but because of the lack of sex (or importance of sex) in their marriage, it eventually ends in divorce. This may sound harsh or even shallow, but it happens all the time and illustrates how important sex is in marriage regardless of how good all other aspects are.
Nick and Amy discuss the amazing answers from the instagram poll taken asking the following questions:

Does making love help you feel less stressed and more confident?
What are the reasons you crave sexual intimacy with your wife?
How do you feel when you are rejected constantly?
Does sex play an important role in your happiness in your marriage?

Nick and Amy discuss How your husband really feels when you reject him sexually.
A lot of women just think a man wants sex to take care of his needs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Sex is not just about sex to a man, but so much more. Sex is not just a "want" but a "need" for him. In this episode we discuss what rejection does to a man and a relationship over time and how to work through it.

Sex is an AMAZING thing that can bring couples closer together, strengthen their marriage and be incredible for both of spouses if they are implementing good things into their relationship that brings them closer together. On the flip side, we all know there are also things (that if implemented in your sexual intimacy) can quickly tear couples apart and DESTROY their marriage. This may be one of the reasons we get a TON of people messaging us asking our thoughts and opinions regarding what is ok and not ok to do, seeking answers for their relationship.
