Show notes

How often have you been in a nightclub, a bit drunk, and become separated from your friends? A bit more of a familiar tale comes this time around on the Enthusiast, where we head back to the early 1990's, and to the county of Hampshire, to hear the exploits of an individual that the crime committed makes them stand out in the annals of British crime.
If you know the tale as the episode progresses, i'm sure you'll agree. If you don't know it - then come it's end, you'll think - how fortunate it is that the individual was put away when they were, for how much more carnage would we be talking about?
And despite the passage of time - the individual you'll hear of is no less dangerous whatsoever today.
The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events, involving involving injury detail, involving descriptions of a sexual nature, and with references to cases of animal cruelty, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or highly distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.

Show notes

Despite what you may have thought from childhood, they really arent. For this episode of The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, I bring you two tales that I believe strengthen that no - they really exist. We are off back to Greater Manchester, and then Merseyside, to hear two tales of such savagery that no other word will suffice, i'm afraid.Actually, i'm not afraid. I stand by my use of monster to describe those responsible. I'm sure the tales will justify themselves, when you hear them. Have you ever had that one person in your life that you aren't just in love with - but you become obsessive over? That person that just gets under your skin? That person that you think you would do anything for? What if that person rejects you - because of your own flawed personality? Or do you blame another for it?We head back fairly recently, to 2020, and to the county of Worcestershire this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, to hear a horrific tale of a flawed individual who really did have such a person under the skin - and the actions that resulted because of it.The episode contains details and descriptions of events, involving injury detail, that some listeners may find disturbing, and or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening. Wilson Jinks, And The Carnage In Class E23 Jun 30, 2022

Show notes

Violence in schools is sadly something we see all too often - perhaps more so in other countries, but it is a very real problem here in the UK. Today, Middlesborough girl Nikki Conroy would have been 41 years old - perhaps married, perhaps with a family of her own.
Sadly. she never got that chance to do any of that, due to 9 minutes of mayhem, carnage, pure horror, back on a Monday morning in March 1994. I bring you Nikki's story here.
The episode contains details and descriptions of events, involving children and injury detail, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.

Journey Of Mayhem - Part 1 Jun 09, 2022

Show notes

This time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, in the first of a two part tale, we look at how one Friday afternoon back in October 2012, within a 29 minute period, a western suburb in the South Wales city of Cardiff would become the scene of pure, unadulterated, unaimed carnage that would leave so many scarred.
Physically, and mentally.

To Kill, And Kill Again May 27, 2022

Show notes

Bit of a reach into the back catalogue of the show's Patreon tales comes this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, for a somewhat reworked tale that brings the listener a pair of disturbing and horrific crimes, the work of the same individual - and at least one of which could, indeed, should, have been prevented.
Because people are only paroled when it is safe for them to be so, right?

See what you think.

I'm thrilled to bring a long awaited return of the Listener penned episode this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, the work of listener Karen Mcleod, for a puzzling story that's fairly local to her, and one that poses the question:
Can someone simply vanish into thin air, on an afternoon walk? Perhaps - but then again, perhaps not....

Horror On The Horseshoe Pass May 12, 2022

Show notes

The roles of a parent are to love and guide their children, to protect them, and unquestionably - to never harm them.
For the episode that drops this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, we are back to the start of the 2000's, and to my home area of North Wales, for a tragic and horrifying tale that shows that sometimes, a parent disregards these simple roles - and does the unthinkable.
The events you will hear within are simply that. Unthinkable.
The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events, involving children, that some listeners may find offensive, disturbing, and or highly distressing, so discretion is advised whilst listening.
