"The results are in and... e-commerce has won. Still using the brick and mortar model? You need to pivot. Quickly. Customers want the convenience of shopping online. Jeff Bezos predicted this in the 90s and now he’s one of the wealthiest people in the world.

I’ve been telling people for over 10 years the internet is changing things. That’s why I started teaching online education programs. You don’t have to go to a campus to learn. Now so many people do it from home.

There are more tools than ever for starting an online business. If you’re offering a physical product, use Shopify. You want to offer a product that’ll do well no matter what’s going on in the world. That’s why I offer meat, education, and clothes with my e-commerce businesses.

You also need a good story. Every successful business has a great story. Stories sell. Make your story something you believe in. Elon Musk believes we need to live on other planets and builds reusable rockets.

It’s not too late to get into e-commerce. More people do it now, but more people are using the internet. Your time is now."

It's crucial to have people in your circle that are agreeable with you.

B2B (business to business) consulting is a brilliant way to take advantage of this quarantine.

There's always someone doing life better than you. Get over it.

There's always money out there, you just have to find where it is.

Incentivize a goal rather than punish a failure.

We face a very unique situation right now with the current pandemic. Coronavirus/Covid-19 is driving the economy downward drastically and we certainly weren't prepared for it. So with that said, what are you going to do about it in your world? There's a lot of risk but there might be opportunity, too.

Points to keep in mind:

The world order is bound to change in light of today's circumstance.
You can either freak out, or you can stay calm. What's gonna happen is what's gonna happen.
Narcissism and Machiavellianism are completely different personalities.
Always be mindful of both sides of the narrative,
Cryptocurrency can be a volatile and risky market.
Your investing should be primarily in things you have control of.
A key rule of thumb to investing is buy when the market is low; sell when the market is high.
Live your life with caution, but don't live your life out of fear.
You should only be putting walls up after an experience. Not before.
Don't be intimidated by the powers that be, but don't be disrespectful.
Living a reactionary life means you're never prepared for what's next. Be proactive, not reactive.

Summary: In this era, there's a lot of fear and chaos throughout society. Everyone is reacting to things rather than preparing for them. Don't fall into that stream of living.

Dopamine is a substance in your brain that not only makes you feel good in general, but also confident and ambitious. But science has shown that the more that you win, the more dopamine receptors you grow. This makes you more confident and ambitious, which in turn makes you grow even more receptors.

It’s a virtuous cycle.

But it goes both ways, and this is why those who win tend to continue to win, while those who are stuck with a limiting mindset have a very difficult time breaking out of that mindset.

Your mindset might not be your fault. It could be a result of your parents, the public school system, your friends, or any number of factors. But it is holding you back.

This is why I try to show you my own success and the success of others. So that your world expands, and your mindset enlarges. As this happens, and you see the possibilities in the world, you start to win more, you grow more dopamine receptors, and the cycle begins to turn in your favor instead of against you.

And understanding of the above science is essential to being able to motivate yourself to work hard and succeed, and that is what I’m teaching you on this episode of The Tai Lopez Show!

You have to understand how to motivate yourself
Dopamine receptors are what make you feel good, and more importantly, confident
When you win, your brain grows more dopamine receptors, and when you lose, you lose dopamine receptors
Winning makes you more confident and more ambitious, which then makes you more ambitious, and makes you win more. It’s a virtuous cycle
You need to be rewired for success
It’s not enough to know how to do something, you have to have the confidence, ambition, and motivation to follow through on it

Points to Keep In Mind

A lot of people have great ideas and concepts, but if you don’t know how to express it to others and persuade them, you will not be able to do much with your ideas
Even people who are natural at something follow certain rules and strategies, they just do it naturally. But anyone can learn them
Strategic preparation is essential to good sales
Your prospect needs to be 10 out of 10 on your product, trusting you, and your company, before closing
Rookie salespeople skip the qualifying section of the sales process. First of all, you need to make sure your prospect is in the market in the first place
By asking smart questions, you can get into solid rapport with prospects
Your prospect has to believe that you really care about them
Your prospect has to understand that, fundamentally, you’re just like them
Every idea has a certain amount of value to it. But the way it is presented either multiplies that value, or takes away from it
Persuasion is a learnable thing
Human communication is 45% tone of voice, 45% body language, and only 10% words
Body language has a way of slipping under the radar, and going right to the unconscious mind and creating a gut reaction
When someone makes their first impression of you, they should be thinking:
This person is sharp as a tac
This person is enthusiastic
This person is an expert in the field
If you make a bad first impression, it takes 7 subsequent meetings to turn that around
When you’re perceived as an expert, it gives you the opportunity to control the flow of the conversation
The first stage of confidence comes from acting as if
Study the best, in detail, to model it and eventually become it
Resilience has to do with the fundamental belief that you have what it takes to be successful
Once you learn how to communicate, it changes who you are, and you become the successful person you could be
Without fear, there is no courage
Objections are nothing more than smoke-screens for uncertainty
