    Fauci is "strongly in favor" of mask mandate but not from the federal government. At least 50 percent of new coronavirus cases are coming from Texas, California, Arizona and Florida.

    Florida's governor says that Florida is now in a "better position" to handle the soaring coronavirus cases because "We had a flatter curve." There have been more than 7,300 new cases in Florida in the past day, which makes for a total of 213,794 Florida cases. Miami-Dade hospitalizations are up 90 percent and ICU beds are at 86 percent capacity. Florida governor dodges questions on contact tracing.

    Trump says "Now it's time to be open... We're not closing. We'll never close" about the economy and schools. Trump falsely claims that the United States had the lowest mortality rate.     The United States nears three million coronavirus cases as the virus surges in 32 states. The White House tries claiming that the world sees the United States as a "leader" when it comes to the coronavirus, despite the United States leading the world on cases and deaths. The United States death toll tops 130,000 as white house defends Trump's claim that 99 percent of coronavirus cases are "totally harmless."

    The White House refuses to denounce the confederate flag. The Pentagon is drafting a confederate flag ban for military bases.

    Florida tops 200,000 total cases as the coronavirus surges. Miami-Dade shutters indoor dining and gyms amid a coronavirus surge. Also, contact tracing failing in Florida as new coronavirus cases surge. Texas hospitalizations soar to record highs. New York's coronavirus hospitalizations are the lowest since mid-March.

    New York's governor says Trump is "enabling the virus" by downplaying its threat. Trump targets Black NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and says "flag decision" is causing "lowest ratings ever." Trump stokes culture wars and racial divide as he downplays the coronavirus threat, in an attempt to win re-election.

    ICE officials say international students will have to leave the United States if their university cancels in-person learning.

    United States Sets Record With More Than 50,000 Daily Cases Jul 03, 2020

    The Texas governor issues an executive order that requires masks in public. Florida reported a record of 10,000 new cases. Texas, California and Arizona are among the 37 states that are facing surges. Birx is telling Floridians that are under the age of 40 who have attended large gatherings to get tested, even if they don't have symptoms. A top official says the spike in coronavirus cases is real and not due to more testing. States close beaches and bars as experts warn that the holiday weekend could lead to the "perfect storm." A lawsuit has been filed over Palm Beach County's mask mandate.

    Local officials are saying that young people in Alabama are holding "coronavirus parties" to get infected and win money. Former Presidential Candidate Herman Cain has been hospitalized with coronavirus after attending the Trump rally in Tulsa. Jackson Health System is pausing elective surgeries.

    Trump is still in denial as cases hit record numbers, he claims the crisis is "being handled."Experts dispute Trump's claim that the coronavirus is "getting under control." Trump is planning holiday celebrations despite coronavirus concerns.

    United States Death Toll Nears 128,000 As Coronavirus Cases Surge Jul 02, 2020

    The United States death toll nears 128,000 as cases surge in 37 states. 19 states have paused or rolled back reopening their states.

    The California governor orders almost 75 percent of the state back to a near shutdown. The California governor also orders 19 counties, including Los Angeles, to close all indoor activities amid record cases. Georgia, Arizona and California set a coronavirus case record in the last 24 hours. Arizona and Texas have reported a record number of hospitalizations. Texas reported 8,076 new coronavirus cases, which is the highest single day number reported. The New York Governor warns of "storm clouds" and slipping compliance. The Georgia governor says that wearing a mask is "the right thing to do" but won't issue a statewide mandate.The Florida governor says that the coronavirus "doesn't like sunshine, heat, humidity."

    Trump is in denial and claims "we did it all right," coronavirus will "sort of just disappear." Trump says "ask for masks" don't need to be mandatory. He also said "I had a mask on, I sort of liked the way I looked... it looked like the lone ranger.

    The United States coronavirus death toll has surpassed 126,000 as 15 states see a record number of cases and as the virus is trending up in 36 states. California governor is to announce more restrictions as 17 states pause or roll back reopening. Florida governor says "we're not going back, closing things." Delaware's governor has delayed phase three or reopening originality set for Monday. Delaware to close bars at ==t beaches ahead of July 4 weekend,
    New York, New Jersey and Connecticut has expanded their quarantine rules to eight more states to make for 16 total.

    Fauci says the United States could see 100,000 new cases a day "if this doesn't turn around" and "we really have to stop" going to bars.

    The CDC director says the number of deaths is up in Arizona. Arizona's average daily death toll has almost doubled in June. Arizona is among 15 states reporting record number of new cases. Arizona governor has ordered new business closings as coronavirus cases surge.

    Pence joins other top republicans that are urging people to wear masks leaving Trump increasingly isolated. Biden says "our wartime president has surrendered" on virus. Trump campaign cancels Alabama rally amid virus surge.

The health secretary says that the "window is closing" to control the coronavirus. Florida counties close beaches ahead of the July 4th holiday. Texas governor warns of a "very dangerous" coronavirus spread. New Jersey pauses its restart of indoor dining. New Jersey governor says they'll do everything they can not to go through hell again.

    Fauci says that crowds without masks is a "recipe for disaster."

    Sources says Democrats are to be briefed tomorrow on Russia Bounty intelligence. White House officials say Trump or Pence are not briefed on intelligence reports that Russia put a bounty on United States troops because it hasn't been verified. White House officials say there's "no consensus" in intelligence community on Russian bounty report. Sources says it's "inconceivable" that Trump wouldn't have known about Russian bounties on Unites States forces.

    White House claims Trump didn't hear "White power" message he retweeted recently.

Texas reports more than 5,7000 new coronavirus cases and the Houston area raises its virus alert warning to the highest level. Houston-area residents advised to avoid leaving their homes. Harris County, Texas, is close to running out of hospital capacity. At least 11 states pause or roll back reopening as coronavirus cases spike. Rate of new infections rising in 32 states. United States reports highest single day increase in new infections. Coronavirus task force holds its first briefing in two months. Fauci says that the United States is "facing a serious problem" in some areas.

    Pence claims "remarkable progress" against virus as new infections reach all-time high. California governor advises southern California county to reinstate stay-at-home. Pence refuses to directly answer question about the importance of wearing face masks. Pence also claims "free space" is the reason Trump is holding campaign rallies despite health experts' warnings.

    "Apocalyptic" coronavirus surges are feared in major United States cities. Coronavirus surges across the United States as 30 states see cases rise.

    The CDC director says that social distancing is "the most powerful tool that we have" to fight the coronavirus. Coronavirus cases hit record highs in Texas, Florida and California, America's three most populated states. Florida records more than 5,000 new coronavirus cases in a 24-hour period.The Florida governor refuses to issue a mandatory mask order. Miami-Dade County reported a 27 percent positivity rate on Wednesday. A Miami hospital has reported an 108 percent increase in Covid-19 patients. Miami-Dade County is requiring people to wear masks while in public. CDC officials say that coronavirus cases are likely to be ten times higher than that's being reported. A United States government watchdog finds widespread delays in coronavirus response. A United States government watchdog also found more than one million coronavirus stimulus checks were sent to dead people.

    Trump is deeper in denial about coronavirus surge, which leaves a void in national leadership for the United States. After Trump's Tulsa rally, multiple of his campaign staffers are quarantining. Trump downplays need for coronavirus testing, as cases surge.

    United States Coronavirus Deaths Pass 121,000, As States Report Recored Cases Jun 25, 2020

    The United States coronavirus deaths surpass 121,000, as Florida and California report record cases. A model says that the United States death toll will hit nearly 180,000 within the country by October unless 95 percent of people wear masks in public. Trump falsely suggests that the pandemic is over, as the United States death toll climbs past 121.000. The United States is reporting its third-highest new cases since beginning of pandemic, the most cases since April.

    Three suspects have been indicted for the murder of Georgia jogger Ahmaud Arbery.

    Texas is setting new records for coronavirus cases. Houston's mayor says that 97 percent of intensive care beds are filled. More than 5,000 people in Texas tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday, the highest number reported for Texas since the pandemic started.

    Fauci says "forget the politics and wear a mask.

    New York, New Jersey and Connecticut announce new 14-day quarantine rules for travelers who visited hot spot states. United States lags behind peers in containing the coronavirus threat.

    Trump has vowed to protect statues from protesters. Trump blasts Democratics for blocking police reform bill.
