    Show notes

In life, nothing is ever constant but change. And in this episode, Louise Hay shows that these changes and transitions are not linear in nature. In the same way, the pathway to success is not a straight line.

According to Louise, the model of success is not linear. You will enjoy gains and suffer losses or experience joys and frustrations. But all these are necessary parts of growth and development. And for Louise, these challenges are regular occurrences as one undergoes changes in life, especially a transition from fear into a place of love, peace, and prosperity.

As Louise explains the meandering process of Learning and progress, we realize that behind every pain comes with it a gem of wisdom. Finally, Louise believes that every challenge is not meant to beat you down but build you up.

1174 | Angela Duckworth: “We Only Learn with Feedback.” Jun 02, 2021
    Show notes

Everyone has the potential to achieve greatness. However, only a few manage to turn latent greatness into reality. Sadly, not all people who devote their lives to pursuing their dreams become excellent in what they do. With this, Dr. Angela Duckworth explains to us the elements of excellence that differentiate the expert from the mediocre.

According to Angela, no one really starts off as an excellent person, and thousands of hours of practice do not guarantee excellence either. Studies show that those who spent more time doing the most effortful and least enjoyable practice emerged as the most excellent and proved to be greater than the rest.

In the long run, hard work and sacrifice genuinely pay off. As Aristotle once said, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit."

1173 | Dr. Dennis Kimbro: “Either Read or Learn to Fail Gracefully.” Jun 01, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Dr. Dennis Kimbro elaborates on the common factors and traits to success. He further underscores that it's not enough to have a good mind, but the main thing is to train and utilize it well. Knowledge may be power, but knowledge isn't power unless applied. In other words, Dennis is saying that learning the principles of success and applying these principles are two very different things.

According to Dr. Kimbro, if you can visualize it, you can definitely achieve it. But nothing will change unless you walk the talk. At the end of the day, the outcomes you produce greatly reflect your efforts, dedication, passion, and commitment.

Regardless of what everyone around you says, just keep going. After all, as Abigail Adams once said, "Learning is not attained by chance. It must be sought for with ardor and attended to with diligence.”

    1172 | Dr. George C. Fraser: “Don’t You Waste Your Time.” May 31, 2021
    Show notes

Time is the only wealth that God gives everyone. For this reason, Dr. George Fraser reminds us of the finitude of time and, consequently, the value of every second of our lives.

In this episode, Dr. Fraser highlights the essential yet fleeting nature of time. Unfortunately, time is often wasted because of your fears. And fear generates a reluctance that leads to procrastination. As R. W. Emerson once said, "The outer conditions of a person's life will always be found to reflect their inner beliefs." So you can either let fear rule your life, or you can choose to live your life to the fullest.

If you ask for success, then you should be willing to sacrifice and commit to your goals. Because the thing is, we may keep on earning more money, but in the end, no amount of wealth and money can buy us time.

1171 | Stuart Wilde: “If You Resonate Poor Feelings, You Have to Stay Poor.” May 28, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Stuart Wilde reveals some misbeliefs about money, wealth, and affluence. He further illustrates how the standards of limitation that our culture and society had long ago engraved in our minds were the perpetrators of the misbeliefs we have today.

According to Stuart, the limitations were made by those in power to exploit and manipulate others into staying ignorant and poor. Unfortunately, the remnants of the past still permeate today, and they appear in the forms of poverty mindset, passivity, and misbeliefs about money.

For this reason, he elaborates on the cultivation of the money mindset. He explains that the money mindset paves the way for projecting abundance, which enhances and increases the abundance that you have. Finally, Stuart highlights the power of the mind. After all, our life is what our thoughts make it.

    1170 | Rev. Ike: “I Like Money And I Don’t Care Who Knows It.” May 27, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Rev. Ike introduces his 10 commandments of money that will put your financial life back together. He further elaborates on how to form a money-attraction complex to magnetize our minds for money.

Your mind is a magnet that attracts what you believe in. For instance, if you believe in the goodness and richness of money, then that’s precisely the way it will be.

However, if you have a negative attitude about money, then this creates what Rev Ike calls a “money rejection complex" that repels money away from you.

As John Milton once said, “The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell or a hell of heaven.” In the same way, your perception of money greatly determines how it will manifest in your life.

1169 | Dr. John Demartini: “Money is Simply a Means of Exchange.” May 26, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Dr. John Demartini shares timeless wisdom about our perception of money and the proper management of wealth.

According to his observation, most of us do not know how to value money. Some people either take it for granted or see it in a negative light. As a result, we devalue not just wealth but also its utility and fruitful benefits.

For this reason, Dr. Demartini affirms that once we overcome these negativities, we also begin to open doors to remarkable and extraordinary opportunities. So you can either let your fears control you, or you can make your money work for you. Overall, he attempts to re-inspire us to traverse further beyond and leave our fears and worries behind.

1168 | Bob Proctor: “Money is to Make You Comfortable, Not Happy.” May 25, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Bob Proctor clarifies the common misconceptions about money to remind us of its true purpose and role in our lives.

He acknowledges that money is indeed essential for attaining an enjoyable and comfortable life. However, living in comfort and being happy are two very different things. According to Bob, happiness does not reside in money. It’s only meant to make you comfortable, but not to make you happy.

In the end, it all boils down to how you perceive money. As Bob recalibrates the way we view and think about money, he further highlights that it’s possible for us to be happy, successful, and prosperous. Each of us has a right to life hence a right to be rich, and finally, the right to live the dream.

    Show notes

1166 | Wayne Dyer: “The Greatest Priority in Life is the Ability to Enjoy it.” May 21, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Dr. Wayne Dyer elaborates on two key elements of a successful and happy life: freedom and happiness. He further illustrates that freedom and happiness are essentially achieved from within.

According to Dr. Dyer, one of his most significant priorities in life is the ability to enjoy it, that is, to go through life and enjoy it. In other words, he believes that having the courage be yourself and to pursue your own dreams no matter what anyone says is the greatest freedom you can have.

As E.E. Cummings once said, “To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else—means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.” Ultimately, he affirms that you can be the person you aspire to become, for you are the master of your own fate.
