    1215 | Jordan B. Peterson: “Just Because You Can’t Do Any Damage Doesn’t Mean You’re Moral." Jul 29, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s episode, Dr. Jordan Peterson highlights the value of setting boundaries. Jordan recounts that there are instances where you sacrifice yourself to create a persona because you want to get other people to like you. However, the problem arises when the line between what’s enough and too much gets obscured.
Don’t confuse harmlessness with morality. In other words, just because you can’t do any damage doesn’t necessarily mean you’re moral. It just means that you’re someone who has no capability for mayhem—a pushover.
Finally, stand up for yourself and learn to say no. Otherwise, people will keep on encroaching on you. Set boundaries and limits because the takers typically don’t have any.

1214 | Dr. Tom Morris: “Use Your Imagination Well.” Jul 28, 2021
    Show notes

Today, Dr. Tom Morris explains how imagination may be the most essential power humans have. And a great deal of learning the art of self-control is the intelligent use of the imagination.
The key to success in any set of challenges or circumstances is to use the imagination well. In dire situations, your imagination can either shut you down or empower you. Your beliefs, emotions, and attitude have the power to make you or break you. So block negative thoughts, and boost more positive ones.
Seneca once said, “A man who suffers before it is necessary suffers more than is necessary.” In the same way, Dr. Morris affirms, “Take control of your imagination before it takes control of you.”

1213 | Bob Proctor: “The Biggest Part of Me, You’ll Never See.” Jul 27, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s episode, Bob Proctor reveals the power of the mind. He points out that what you see in the physical world is nothing but the manifestation of the thoughts and ideas you cultivate in your mind. If you can build an image of something in your mind, then you’re already capable of creating a physical replica of it in your world.
What a person thinks he or she becomes. So you’ve got to shift your viewpoint and focus on thinking about how you can achieve your goals and not why you can’t. As Bob reminds us, “You are the only problem you will ever have, and you are the only solution.”

    1212 | Steve Harvey: “I Don’t Have Time for Nonsense.” Jul 26, 2021
    Show notes

On today's Motivation Monday episode, Steve Harvey shares the significance of effort, trust, and belief in achieving your goals and dreams. First, he emphasizes that nothing will happen unless you start doing something. It doesn’t matter if you start small. Just start. Secondly, trust the process because nothing worth having comes easy. Let your dream be mightier than your worries and fears. Lastly, believe that you can do it. It doesn’t matter what other people will say, so long as you know who you are and who you belong to. As the saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” Likewise, every great success begins with a single step. So have faith, keep doing your best, and God will do the rest.

1211 | T. Harv Eker: “I was Taught How to Do Money.” Jul 23, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s Finance Friday episode, Harv Eker shares the significance of being aware of our own money blueprint because these money blueprints determine your financial life.
According to Harv, each of us has our own money blueprint ingrained in our subconscious mind. Ever since we were born, we’ve already been exposed to different belief systems and ideas that greatly influence our lives and decision-making skills. You can be the best person at your job and the most expert in your field, but if your money blueprint is faulty and isn’t set for a high level of success, you’re financially doomed.
Nevertheless, Harv emphasizes that what’s been taught and conditioned can always be unlearned. So the good news is that your blueprint can be changed.

1210 | Dr. George C. Fraser: “Bring Something to The Table.” Jul 22, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Dr. George Fraser shares one of the biggest mistakes we make in our lives that hinder us from achieving our goals and dreams. The first is that you bring nothing to the table.
Dr. Fraser goes on to highlight the value of lifelong learning, continuous self-development, and never ending improvement. Competition is where the average people are. And if you’re amazing at what you do, you will never have to worry about competition because people themselves will get in line for you. Indeed, chase excellence and success will follow.
Lastly, he explains that the biggest mistake that people make in networking is they network to get something. He accentuates the crucial fact that you network to give. And as you give, you receive.

1209 | Rev. Ike: “You Will Never Become Any More Than You Think You Are.” Jul 21, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Rev Ike delivers a passionate talk about how all successful people follow. Though they may come from different circumstances, their commonality is the positive mindedness in all successful people.
Success has nothing to do with race, color, or background. Everything boils down to what a man thinks of himself. For as a man thinks in his heart, he becomes. Simply put, your beliefs manifest themselves in your self-image.
Finally, Rev. Ike highlights the significance of self-image as it compels the circumstances in your life. In his words, “Whatever your self-image is, will govern your experience.” And as you cultivate better thoughts, you create a better reality.

    1208 | Mel Robbins: “You’re a Miracle.” Jul 20, 2021
    Show notes

On today’s episode, Mel Robbins reveals how everything you want to accomplish is absolutely within your reach. The truth is, you know what to do, and you’re capable of doing it. You have everything you need to get it done.
According to Mel, getting what you want is actually really simple but not easy. You plan, you actualize the plan, but the tricky part is sticking with it consistently. Simply put, the only thing preventing you from achieving your goals and dreams is you after all.
You know what you want and what to do to get what you want, but the only thing standing between you and your goals are the decisions and choices that you make in life. So it really is up to you. Or as Mel says, “You are one decision away from a completely different life.”

    1207 | Dr. Dennis Kimbro: “You Ain’t a Chicken, You’re an Eagle.” Jul 19, 2021
    Show notes

In this episode, Dr. Dennis Kimbro kicks off the week with the story of the chicken and the eagle.
Just because you may feel different from the rest does not necessarily mean you have to tailor-fit yourself to be just like everyone else. Just like the eagle, you stand out for a reason. Above all, you’ve got to know who you are and accept what you are. Because if you don’t know who you are, anybody can name you. And if anybody can name you, then you’ll answer and succumb to just about anything.
He further emphasizes the importance of the thoughts you let stay in your head and warns not to cultivate negative thoughts in your mind. Like he says, “We see things not as they are, but as we are.” The greatness you’ll radiate in your life will fundamentally begin from within.

1206 | Wayne Dyer: “What Comes Out is What’s Inside.” Jul 16, 2021
    Show notes

Dr. Wayne Dyer wraps up the week with a personal story about one of the most powerful lessons we can learn, which is forgiveness. The moment he let go of anger and bitterness was the moment goodness started flowing in. His writing began reached a higher level. And he began to take care of himself more. Everything just fell into place once he released the energy of negativity and hatred.
In reality, it was not the past that was weighing him down but his own attachment to it. Unfortunately, many of us bound ourselves to the wounds of our past. We have the power to decide to close these wounds up. Or as he says,“Hold no grudges and practice forgiveness. This is the key to having peace in all your relationships.”
