Episode 94 of The Podcast of Oa put the spotlight on Sinestro this time around. Co-hosts Bill Giancoli and Myron Rumsey talk about the the two most recent issues of the Sinestro ongoing series where Lobo becomes a gun for hire for the former Green Lantern before Sinestro returns to Earth and makes a startling discovery during a visit to Kahndaq. Myron brings up a couple of issues of the Lobo series which follows up the bounty hunter's appearance in Sinestro #15. Lobo clears the playing field of some of the other Lantern Corps which might pose a challenge to Sinestro's emerging plans to become the dominate force in the universe, dispensing with a number of ring bearers. Bill and Myron are back with episode 93 of The Podcast of Oa. This episode focuses on the two most recent issues of Green Lantern: The Lost Army as the series comes close to its conclusion. Myron and Bill talk about the change in pace of the book as the Green Lanterns find short term allies in the Lightsmiths. Myron takes exception to the characterization of John Stewart in issue 5 while Bill believes John's take charge attitude is just what the series needed. Bill and Myron are back after a short summer hiatus for episode 89 of The Podcast of Oa. The two host talk about all the recent casting rumors for the upcoming Green Lantern Corps film including the recent revelation that Chris Pine is not going to be playing Hal Jordan after all and the recent rash of social media posturing by a number of actors.

The conversation shifts to July's new comic books and Green Lantern issue 42. Myron and Bill are happy to see Black Hand return, complete with newer more deadly powers thanks to his interactions with the Source Wall during the GodHead storyline. Both hosts are happy with themselves over the confirmation in Green Lantern: The Lost Army #2 of their theory about where, or when, the Green Lantern Corps have disappeared. Myron also shares his initial thoughts on the IDW Star Trek / Green Lantern crossover event.

Just in time for June's mini-relaunch and to help kick off the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Green Lantern, Podcast of Oa's co-hosts Myron Rumsey and Bill Giancoli sit down with Green Lantern writer Robert Venditti to talk about the new direction the series is taking. Myron brings inquires about a number of plot threads left hanging by Hal Jordan's renegade turn and Robert addresses many of them, revealing that many of them will be dealt with once the book returns with issue forty-one. Robert shares with listeners the current location of Larfleeze's ring, why Hal Jordan has changed his look and why he's flying around the universe in spaceship whose artificial intelligence is named Darlene. Bill also makes a point to bring up the Carol Ferris / Hal Jordan breakup and Robert shares some insight as to why the two have, at least temporarily, parted ways.
