Co-host Myron Rumsey flies solo with Rob as they talk about what's in store for the Green Lanterns now that Sinestro has succeeded in becoming the predominant force in the universe. In this special interview Rob shares some inside stories on how he got the assignment and how Rebirth provides him with a chance to tell more of the stories he's wanted to tell since coming to DC Comics. Co-hosts Bill Giancoli and Myron Rumsey are back with episode 99 of The Podcast of Oa with conversation about February's Green Lantern books. With DC Comics' recent announcement about their Rebirth initiative and all the Green Lantern books being replaced with two twice-monthly series both Myron and Bill have opinions on what these books might be like and how it impacts the current series. Both Bill and Myron felt that the conclusion to the Sonar arc in the main Green Lantern title didn't provide the satisfaction it could have, with neither Sonar nor Hal Jordan ever coming face to face. Both hosts found themselves routing for the Sinestro Corps as they took down the Paling and wondering how it will effect the way Earth's hero community will view the yellow lanterns. There were some surprising moments in this month's Edge of Oblivion issue along with the announcement that Ethan Van Sciver would be leaving the series with issue three to focus on DC: Rebirth. Co-hosts Bill Giancoli and Myron Rumsey are back with episode 97 of The Podcast of Oa as they two talk about a strong month for the Green Lantern corner of the DC Universe. Before going to the normal comic book reviews Myron announces that the show can now be found on Soundcloud and will soon be coming to Google Play Music and Spotify. Myron shares his observations from the recent The Dawn of the Justice League television special and how he believes that while they didn't say too much about Green Lantern's cinematic future DC Films gave clues to their direction via visual cues. The two talk about the recent DC Rebirth announcement and give thought to what it might mean for Green Lantern. In their comic book conversation both Myron and Bill felt that Robert Venditti has begun to hit his stride with the main Green Lantern title and that this month's issue 48 really provided Hal Jordan with a new type of adversary. And continuity hiccups aside both felt that the debut issue of Edge of Oblivion was a good one. Sinestro #19 was also a hit with both Bill and Myron with Cullen Bunn really providing an event level story in the ongoing series.
