Gene and cohost Tim Swartz introduce Robert Allred, author of "Military Encounters With UFOs: Explanations and Combat Strategies." So military bodies around our planet have encountered, and even clashed with, UFOs, or as the U.S. military now defines them, Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena – UAP. These observations and engagements have occurred for well over a century, at least, and on all continents. This book takes a no-nonsense approach in its careful research, with hundreds of sources cited, including formerly classified documents and testimony regarding UFOs/UAP. As readers will discover from the mass of evidence presented in this book, it is no longer a question of whether UFOs exist or not. Such phenomena are an incontrovertible fact that, according to Allred, has prompted the United States to craft plans on how to resist an alien invasion. Is there any need for humans to be concerned about the alien presence in the skies surrounding our planet? The author says, essentially, be very concerned. Allred studied at the University of California, Berkeley and undertook a ‘study abroad’ summer session, attending history courses at the University of Sussex while taking in the pastoral landscapes of southern England. He currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, spending his leisure time on his California ranch.

Gene and cohost Tim Swartz present our staff announcer, Bob Zanotti, with another episode of "Voices of the Past." Bob has been interested in the UFO phenomenon from a very young age, back in the 50’s as a pre-teen. In the 1960’s he hosted a New York college radio talk show called “Coffee Klatsch,” which was devoted to the offbeat and the paranormal. As well, Bob often interviewed current UFO personalities. In this episode, you'll hear exclusive audio segments from his radio show, featuring some of the greats and near-greats in the UFO field from the early days. They included Gray Barker, Yonah Fortner, Dominick Lucchesi, Jim Moseley, August C. Roberts, John J. Robinson, Ivan T. Sanderson, and Andy Sinatra, who was also known as "The Mystic Barber." After broadcast journalism studies in New York and Montreal, his calling led Bob to Switzerland, where he was a full-time broadcast journalist and presenter at Swiss Radio International, Switzerland’s international shortwave station. During his 32 years with SRI, Bob also produced a number of features involving the paranormal and the esoteric. Raymond A. also introduced the world to the Shaver mystery, about a man who claimed to have been in touch with advanced beings from beneath the Earth. To some, Raymond A. was regarded as the "father" of the UFO field. Also joining us with his own perspectives is veteran UFO researcher Tim "Mr. UFO" Beckley. Gene and cohost Tim Swartz introduce a tale about a truly weird character who hung out on the fringes of UFO research with Bryan Shickley. An animator and storyteller, is best known for Fred Crisman: Cave of the Space Nazis, a short film inspired by fan letters sent to Amazing Stories in the 1940s, during the height of the Shaver Mystery. He has interviewed the family of controversial UFO figure Fred Crisman and collaborated with Pacific Northwest historians to adapt Crisman and Shaver’s extraordinary lives into an upcoming tongue-in-cheek serialized audio drama. Crisman's life had many curious aspects. He was a key figure in the 1947 Maury Island UFO Sighting, where alleged fragments fell from a UFO. Or maybe they were just conventional pieces of metal. The story was the main focus of a book published in 1952, "The Coming of the Saucers," authored by former Amazing Stories editor Ray Palmer, and the "original" flying saucer witness, Kenneth Arnold. And did Crisman have any connections to the legends that surround the John F. Kennedy assassination? She was born into the family of artist, astrologer, psychic, and remote viewer Ingo Swann. Through her time with Ingo, her uncle, Elly gained unique insights into his creative processes, spontaneous psychic experiences, meticulous personality, and the lively community of visitors who frequented his home. She has been deeply involved in preserving and chronicling his multifaceted legacy as an author, creator, and pioneer in perception and consciousness exploration. She writes: "My uncle…was a man of mystery and intrigue. As one of the US Government’s top psychic spies, he held secrets that few knew and even fewer understood.
