As we come off the biggest win of the year and prepare for the biggest game of the year they boys caught some flack this week for some tweets. Honestly, some of you need to chill the f out lol. We talk about where the season stands, what does the future hold?
Also, what if we told you there was an unpleasant looking verbal altercation between two big wigs at The U on Saturday? All those details and much more, including our preview of the Pitt game and our weekly picks on this episode of The Orange Bowl Boys!

Well, well, well…Some Canes showed up yesterday! Your MIAMI HURRICANES upset #18 NC State under the lights at The Rock 31-30! Tyler Van Dyke talked some smack and backed every word up with 300+ yards, 4 TD’s and completed 75% of his passes against the best defense in the ACC. He wasn’t the only young gun to show up big…also, we threw props to a coach on the staff, and then ripped another…gotta do our thing. Enjoy the show and have a great Sunday! Go Canes!

The Hurricanes welcome NC State to The Rock for a primetime spectacular at the best made for tv stadium in the world. The Rock will look awesome…what will the Canes look like? Our boys stand at 2-4 with the two toughest ACC opponents we’ll face during the regular season. Is this the turning point for this team and the Diaz Era? Will the proverbial light switch be switched on and this program goes on a run? That’s what Manny is banking on…the three of us, it’s not unanimous, we’ll just say that.
Hope you enjoy and as always...GO CANES!

Week 7 Recap vs UNC

The Canes lost to UNC again, making Manny Diaz 0-3 during his career as head coach. Unlike last year, this year was close, 45-42, but as Alonzo Highsmith told us, only thing that matters is wins and losses and yesterday was another loss. There were absolute bright spots with many of the young kids, but in the end, falling behind early and having to chase the game did the Canes in as they fell just short.
NC State is up next under the lights. We'll see you Thursday for our preview show. Have a great Sunday!

Today, we welcome a South Florida football legend. At Columbus High, he was named a USA Today All American in 1982. He was recruited by the big boys, but instead decided to stay home, probably because Howard Schnellenberger left his pipe in his living room at some point. As a freshman member of the Miami Hurricanes, he led the team in rushing in the 1984 Orange Bowl against Nebraska to help lead The U to ring #1 and start the dynasty.
He was the 3rd overall pick in the 1987 draft of the Houston Oilers and after a 5-year career as a player, he has blossomed off the field as an NFL player personnel executive over the last decade with the Packers, Browns and currently with the Seahawks.
The Orange Bowl Boys are honored and humbled to welcome Mr. Alonzo Highsmith!

We did a quick recap of the CCSU game and gave our thoughts. You have to take that game with a big grain of salt due to them being FCS, but at least the team looked good and the kids had something positive to reflect on as we head into ACC play tomorrow night versus Virginia.

While we previewed Saturday’s game vs Central Connecticut State, we focused our attention on what the fanbase has been discussing this week…How long will Blake James be the Athletic Director and how long with Manny Diaz be the Head Coach. These are spicey times at The University of Miami and these next few months will go along way to determining where this program goes over the next decade. Are we optimistic? Download and find out!
We did our picks but blew off the Power Poll because its depressing lol
