Everyone checks in for this week's show, with Ro fresh back from a big volleyball tournament trip in Philadelphia, and Scoop and Ro's impromptu hang session at the Fire Station while Ro was on shift. And of course we dive into the portal chaos and just how hard it is to keep track of everything that's happening in the offseason. Plus as you lose guys to the portal you also get to whale hunt in the portal, and everyone needs that talent to translate to at least 10 wins.

The AI OBB's return for the second week in a row, this time to rip FSU for their "unconquered" ring after losing 63-3 to Georgia in the Orange Bowl. And the audio of the week brings us a farting NFL General Manager and a debate about whether it was a burp or a fart. Plus some congratulations to Reggie Bush for getting his Heisman Trophy back.

We open the show with everyone's reaction to the Spring Game, and to no one's surprise everyone was impressed with the play of Cam Ward. The boys are also surprised that the game wasn't as vanilla as we've seen in past years. And everyone has praise for Jacurri Brown as he hits the transfer portal after the game, even though he may have been the best of the backups.

Now that we're all drinking the Kool-Aid, everyone wants a win to start the year on the road in Gainesville, and realistically we need to see Mario make the most of this one season with Cam or his seat might start getting warm. And the glorious return of the AI OBBs goes all over the road with new AI written theme songs!

On this week's Wheel of Topics we range from Boban Marjanovic getting Clippers fans free chicken, and Caitlin Clark on Saturday Night Live and her horrendous rookie contract. It's Spring Game week so everyone takes a look at what they hope to see from different position groups - as Ro covers QBs and linebackers, Toast talks O-Line and safety, and Scoop wants to see the running backs and corners. Plus we try to figure out how a guy like Oregon State's Damien Martinez could fit in with the current RB room. And we're anxious to see Emory and Jacurri legitimately compete for the backup role.

Nevin Shapiro is also out of jail and the debate rages about whether or not we should extend him an invite to be on the show, and everyone falls in on different sides of the argument. Plus some props to Norchad Omier on declaring for the NBA Draft, and some feedback on the struggling UM baseball team.

And this week's wild wheel of topics goes from drunk Floridians naked in garbage cans, the ratings discrepancy between the mens and women's national title games, and hilarious audio from South Carolina head coach Dawn Staley and the Weather Channel's Stephanie Abrams. John Calipari also bows out from Kentucky (which actually saved Kentucky money), whether the PGA or LIV will have more golfers in the Top 5 of the Masters, and the curious case of the Dodger fan who caught Shohei's first home run ball.

Lots of talk from Spring practice as Scoop dove into the Mario press conference, with some observations on the battle for QB2 and the improvement in the tight end usage. And as the portal opens we are curious if we're going to see a QB transfer out if they are too low on the depth chart, and we still think Miami will go hunting again for a splash wide receiver and maybe now a running back.

Roman also thinks Shannon Dawson's success this year will hinge on the fact that he now has a mobile quarterback, and asks the show how we feel about his offensive IQ compared to Mike McDaniel. Plus we discuss the Iowa-LSU game and if we think women's basketball can continue to bring in huge numbers after Caitlin Clark moves on.

And with all this talk of conference realignment has the OBBs in agreement that staying in the ACC is a very smart move for Miami. And Scoop has a few offensive players from Spring practice

Plus the "Wheel of Topics" is on full tilt this week, with so many great stories to talk about - including the fact that no one on the show believes Shohei Ohtani's translator taking the fall in his gambling case, the hilarious audio of Matt Barnes vs an opossum, and the curious case of Caleb Williams after his unconventional appearance at the women's tournament. And everyone seems to be big on the new NFL kickoff rule, and Roman wants to know if the Dolphins decide to draft Penix if that would be an upgrade from Tua. And we take a rare trip to Greentree during the off season as we reflect on Henry Parrish leaving the U, as we now have to take a good look at the running back room.

We also throw a little love to Kam Kinchens after he showed out at Pro Day, and reflect on what Mark Richt did for UM Pro Day while he was here. And as we stare down the tournament, everyone has thoughts on the popularity of the women's game this year as compared to the men. Plus we rejoice in the glory of German-suplexing basketball-playing Russians as we discover Rugball - a combination of basketball, rugby and wrestling.

We open the show with Scoop back in the house, and Toast has to immediately address the Twitter feud that erupted this week between him and some Canes fans over the state of the basketball program. It's another epic Toast rant and he shuts down the narrative about him being a "casual" fan. And Scoop jokes about being on vacation last week while Toast set the world on fire.

There are also major props to the UM AAU hockey team winning the DIII National Championship! Because who would have thought we'd win a hockey title before winning a football title again? And everyone has a strong opinion about Nick Saban's NIL comments on Capitol Hill, ranging from Ro's vocal disagreement to Scoop trying to see it from both sides.

The awkward audio of the week comes from Utah State women's basketball coach Kayla Ard, who stunned everyone by announcing her firing in her own post-game press conference. And the most amazing story of the week as we visualize what it would be like for Aaron Rodgers to be both the Vice President and the quarterback for the NY Jets at the same time!

With Spring practice upon us, we're joined by David Lake from 24/7 Sports to talk all things Canes as the guys start to hit the field. David is already drinking the Cam Ward Kool-Aid even though they're not in pads yet, he's just excited with the things he's seeing early on. We're even seeing some pop already at wide receiver as we open things up, and everyone remains positive on the involvement of the tight ends this year.

David also takes us into the running back room as they start to work out and get moving, the depth at linebacker with all the changes, and concerns at both the corner and safety positions. And the group agrees that this is the year they need to take a step forward to 9 wins.

So how many signing days do we need? We open the show just overloaded with great topics this week, and start off with trying to figure out why we'd need another signing day when one of the two we already have is all but meaningless. But by moving up signing windows, we wonder how long until HS players begin to opt out for signing early.

And the wheel of topics takes over as we bounce around from Pete Weber, to Kenyon Martin, to reflecting on the career of Peter King, who read religiously as sports fans. And the Florida Man games in St. Augustine have us in hysterics!

Of course we have to talk about fans storming the court (or the field) and how it's not in Miami fans' DNA to storm the field which is why you haven't seen Canes fans do it in ages. And we all want to try Taylor Swift's Pop Tarts because we're unsure how good they are.

Basketball and BBQ start the show this week, as we get into the Canes poor performance on the court and Ro's trip to Kansas City. Toast experimented with the show Scoop recommended, Naked Attraction, and decided to torture the rest of the show with it.

We also fall quickly back into college football as NCAA '25 starts to include more school songs and traditions, now that NIL runs the football world. And we try to figure out how to write off a PS5 as a show expense once the game comes out. Plus the CFP committee has approved the 5-plus-7 playoff format as we debate how Miami will fall in with the new setup.

With the Rock's full turn back to a heel in the WWE, we play back some of the audio of him undressing the crowd. Both Cam and Xavier are getting some national love as the guys continue to have high hopes for Xavier to have another huge season. And the new Fanatics baseball uniforms are practically see-through and the guys can't believe they got this far through production.
