Dennis Brooks talks to Ed about the Payne/Hayworth case, a bizarre interlocking murder case.
The murder of Bill Payne and Billie Jean Hayworth is one of the first murder cases where much of the evidence – such as it was – was contained in social media and messaging. What started as an online spat turned into a double murder.
Dennis Brooks is from East Tennesseeand a law school graduate currently serving as Assistant District Attorney of the 1stdistrict of East Tennessee. He and his wife reside in Telford, Tennessee with their ten cats, three dogs and two pot-bellied pigs.
When Bill Payne and Billie Jean Hayworth began their romance, they unknowingly set in motion a diabolical plot that would end with them murdered in their own home, Hayworth holding their mercifully unharmed infant.

Anneke Lewis former child sex slave Jul 09, 2023
    Show notes

Anneke Lewis is a former child sex slave who tells Ed about how she was raped, tortured and almost stabbed to death after being sold into an aristocratic paedo network in Belgium at the age of six.
Of her time she says "Children were killed in the most brutal way because members were afraid they would speak out.
“And to make it worse, the abuse was from politicians and officials the public had put their trust in."
“I’ve had to use my inner strength to cope with the horrors of those years of abuse. I have to try to cope for the sake of my daughter.”
Anneke has also started a petition to raise awareness about trafficking which has attracted 88,000 signatures, it's target is 90, 000.
Belgium is still haunted by a paedophile scandal that shocked the world when it was uncovered in the 1990s.
50 years later, Anneke has managed to put her life back together, but the threats against her speaking out have continued in the intervening decades.

Irvin Muchnick - Justice Denied - The untold story of the death of Nancy Argentina
The world of professional wrestling and what goes on behind the scenes is the subject for analysis in this episode of the Opperman Report.
    Backgound from Trace Evidence
Twenty-three year old Nancy Argentino had left her life in Brooklyn behind to hit the road with her new boyfriend, wrestler Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. It was a whirlwind romance that would ultimately end in violence.
After a violent incident involving police in January of 1983, Nancy's family begged her to stay home and avoid Snuka. Unfortunately, Nancy did not heed their advice and went back with Snuka. Just four months later in May of 1983, Nancy was rushed to a hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania where she later died as the result of head trauma.
The ensuing chaos of the case is covered by Irvin’s research, which he dissects with Ed to expose an almost accepted level of behaviour in the industry and the seamier side hidden behind the glitter, lycra and canvas.

Casey Gane - Chris Tucker, MJ, Epstein
Casey Gane returns to talk about Chris Tucker. Tucker has a almost meteoric rise to fame, which suddenly halted about the same time as Tucker started hanging about with Michael Jackson and Jeffrey Epstein.
So what happened? In an interview which covers almost every conceivable aspect, from covert flights and Maxwell to highly questionable business and sexual dealings, it's almost a script for a movie.
Casey is one of those researchers who, when getting the whiff of a good story, won't let it go until he has all the details.

    Show notes

Andrew Lownie – Lord Louis Mountbatten abuse allegations.
Andrew Lownie is a historian and author and former fellow of Cambridge college. He has written substantive and well-researched books on British society and particularly the Royal family.
In this interview he talks about the growing allegations that Lord Louis Mountbatten was a serial child / sex abuser.
    From Wikipedia
Louis Francis Albert Victor Nicholas Mountbatten was a British naval officer, colonial administrator and close relative of the British royal family. Mountbatten, who was of German descent, was born in the United Kingdom to the prominent Battenberg family and was a maternal uncle of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and a second cousin of King George VI. He joined the Royal Navy during the First World War and was appointed Supreme Allied Commander, South East Asia Command, in the Second World War. He later served as the last Viceroy of India and briefly as the first Governor-General of the Dominion of India.
The fresh allegations – one of several that have surfaced recently – is different as the accuser has provided legal, medical and witness evidence, and has also provided his name. Something other accusers have been reluctant to have published for obvious reasons.

Charged as an adult, she pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and assault with a deadly weapon, and was sentenced to life in prison with a chance of parole after 25 years.

    N. Leigh Hunt is the first person to tell Brenda’s story, with Brenda’s help.
