I have often made the mistake of trying to bring others with me on my journey against their will. Not understanding that we are all on our own path. I know now that I am much more valuable to others if I rescue myself first. I will be in a better position to help later on. Many times I have been on the receiving end of distractions. Feeling as though I did not have any control. A victim in my own body. Meditation helped me see when I was trapped in a cycle.
