"Captain America: Brave New World" Feb 15, 2025

Show notes

For this week's main podcast review, Lauren LaMagna, Cody Dericks, Brendan Hodges and I are here to discuss and review the latest edition in the MCU, "Captain America: Brave New World," starring Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Carl Lumbly, Xosha Roquemore, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Giancarlo Esposito, Tim Blake Nelson & Harrison Ford. After many years, delays re-shoots, and a Disney+ series, Anthony Mackie finally gets his own Marvel film as the new Captain America, with Harrison Ford joining the MCU and taking over the role of (now President) Thaddeus Ross. What did we think of it? Please tune in as we discuss the writing, direction, acting, action, what this is all leading to, how it toes back to 2008's "The Incredible Hulk," and more in our SPOILER-FILLED review. Thank you for listening, and enjoy!
