The 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held last night after being delayed due to the actors' and writers' strikes from last year. While Matt Neglia could not be present to host due to his traveling schedule, Alyssa Christian, Giovanni Lago, and I were able to watch the show live and hop on the podcast immediately following the show to deliver our instant reactions to the winners and the ceremony. What did we think of "Succession," "The Bear," and "Beef" dominating the evening? Time in to find out in this free episode! Interview With "Rustin" Songwriter Lenny Kravitz Jan 15, 2024

"Rustin" had its world premiere at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival, where its leading star, Colman Domingo, received the best reviews of his career, bringing the untold story of Bayard Rustin to the screen. Grammy-winning musical artist Lenny Kravitz contributed to the film by writing the end credits song "Road To Freedom," which was nominated for a Critics Choice and Golden Globe Award and is shortlisted at the 96th Academy Awards for Best Original Song. Kravitz was kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about his work on the song, which can be listened to below. Interview With "Flamin' Hot" Songwriter Diane Warren Jan 15, 2024

"Flamin' Hot" premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival, where it received positive reviews and was later released on Hulu and Disney+ over the summer. Academy Award-winner Diane Warren has been nominated at the Oscars 14 times in competitive categories. This year, she's shortlisted for writing the song for the film titled "The Fire Inside," performed by Becky G. Nominated already by the Society of Composers and Lyricists and Hollywood Music in Media, she could very well earn her 15th competitive nomination this year for the song which has over 2 million views on YouTube. A Behind The Scenes Look At "Poor Things" Jan 11, 2024

"Poor Things" had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Golden Lion and received some of the best reviews for a Yorgos Lanthimos film. It's a technical marvel in almost every regard, and throughout this entire awards season, we've conducted several interviews with the team involved in the making of the Golden Globe award-winning film from nearly all aspects of production. First up, we have my interview with the film's producers Ed Guiney and Andrew Lowe, then we have my interview with Costume Designer Holly Waddington, then we have Dan Bayer's interview with Production Designers James Price and Shona Heath, and then we go back to me with Hair, Makeup & Prosthetics Designer Nadia Stacey, then we head back to Bayer and his interview with the film's Composer Jerskin Fendrix and we finally conclude with my conversation with Cinematographer Robbie Ryan.
