        • Mr Run Jump Stop,
Just wanted to reach out. Great show. I listen to many podcasts covering a range of topics from politics, current affairs, sports and video games.
I very much listen on the commute to work on crowded London trains and for this reason your show Nintendo Switch Craft stands out above the rest. Informative, unbiased, clear and perfect for someone who has a busy work life.
On the digital v physical discussion, I have always bought physical on the basis I know I can trade-in games if I need to. I do also keep games I like, and have a proud collection. Predominantly a PS4 player, but since getting a Nintendo Switch I have been purchasing digital for the first time. I want to play without the hassle of juggling physical cartridges, allowing the Switch to truly feel portable. For the PS4, physical discs are going to continue being my form of choice. Digital will be my preferred delivery for the Switch.
Lastly, keep up the great work. I know you a small set-up, but in terms of quality and passion you are on par and even above some of the more established big-budget podcasts out there. The fact you try support your wife's business through this adds that extra charm to the work you put into this project/hobby/passion of yours. I can feel the family vibe each time I listen to Nintendo Switch Craft.
Appreciate if you have read up to this point, a rather long email I know. Thanks and regards from the other side of the pond.
          Sanjay, London

        • Same world mirrored

        • Find or place portals to let you interact with the other plane.

        • Various power ups, like one that lets you place portals. One that distracts Guards etc.

        • The core gameplay centers around using one side to distract guards to allow the other side to pass.

        • Sometimes there are dotted lines that will get in your way. So you can’t cross them.

        • The game overall has a very mellow vibe, getting caught doesn’t have some huge penalty. The music is atmospheric. Made by the same composer as Anti-Chamber which needs a switch port.

        • Graphics are simple but effective. (blue on the left red on the right)

        • There is a story about a guy and a robot, I won’t get into it at all, but it plays out as a comic as you make your way through the game.

        • The game is a single player game, but could easily be a multiplayer game, which is where I think it would shine the most.

        • Adding in the ability to turn the joycons sideways for play would make playing this game multiplayer easier.

        • Would also lead directly into what the switch is amazing for (local portable multiplayer with one system)

        • I’d definitely recommend Semispheres

        • 9.99 if you enjoy mellow puzzle games like this or the bridge, then its definitly a game for you, and 10 bucks isn’t too steep a price either.

        • Hi RJS:
I wanted to give my input on the physical versus digital question.
I had a PS Vita and used it a ton. I had more than 60 games. Of those 60 I had about 12 cartridges and the rest were all digital.
I know this is very much a first world problem, but changing cartridges was a pain. I'm just saying I have really experienced this issue. Just consider over 4 plus years, playing 300 days a year.. that's 1,200 days.. and multiple games a day.. that can be thousands of cartridge changes.
So obviously the bad things about digital:
          1. They cost more, you can't get the good Amazon.com prices
          2. I had to buy my own 200GB storage card for $78
          3. If you get some bad games or finish a game you don't want, you're stuck with them and can't trade them in...
All 3 of those items add to not an insignificant amount of money, I.e. Hundreds of dollars more to go all digital..
The advantage of all digital: user experience.. it's more fun and easier and convenient.
For me, video games are all about fun, so yeah I'm splurging and making it a luxury item to go all digital and I'm glad I have.

It’s twice a week so it's a fantastic way to keep up on the latest switch news. The host gets right to the point and talks about all the latest news without it being drawn out for too long. Speaking of the host, he seems like a genuinely awesome guy. I’m not sure if I want to go get a beer with him, or just have him read me a bedtime story (his voice is very soothing). • Squanto716 called the show a great Nintendo podcast. Switch Craft is my go-to Nintendo Switch podcast. The brief but more frequent episodes allow you to see what’s new with the Switch all week. I love being able to fit entire episodes in as I walk my dogs. Bill is honest about games, and not afraid to be critical of faults with Nintendo or developers. Would love to see this podcast start gaining traction and maybe start getting some interviews with game developers, but please stop calling football, baseball and basketball software “sportsball games.” Totally get it of you're not a fan, but it comes off as mocking sports games and their fans.

        • Chinese girl’s husband called the show a must listen podcast! I see some people have been giving one star lately and I just don’t understand that. Given, podcasts are up to a person’s tastes I think it's important to be objective. I can understand giving this podcast a 3 or 4 star if you prefer a different style. As for me this is a must listen podcast, and I probably listen to 3-4 hours of podcast per day while I work. This podcast has many qualities which I really like, starting with the host who is able to keep things brief and concise while getting across valuable information. I would add to this for a one man podcast the production value is top notch. The host has an excellent voice, great diction, and he is discerning about when to give the highlights of a topic or when to make a deeper dive. He’s always topical to my interests at any given moment which is great. I would also add that the demeanor of the host is great. Not only is he fair and honest with his assessment, but he does a wonderful job of giving relatively objective information and goes out of his way to explain his possible subjective biases. Tl;dr if you’ve got only 30 minutes to spare and want a thorough but brief recap of up to date Nintendo news, this is a must listen to Nintendo podcast!

I'm sure there's a good amount of preparation that goes into each episode, so thank you for taking the time to do it.
Like you, I have fond memories of playing the Colecovision when I was a kid (mostly Smurfs and Zaxxon). I'm wondering, what are some of your favorite games of all time? (From any system). Do you have a game collection of any kind?
Thanks again for everything you do!

This solo podcaster has one of the most logical, concise and friendly approaches to podcasts I’ve ever heard. The host covers the news Nintendo fans care about Furthermore, he knows what he’s talking about. In addition, the host stays constructive when others review and give him criticism for factors that are not necessarily relevant to a solo podcaster’s show. This is Vincent again. Thanks for playing my voicemail on air! It was cool to hear.
I teach fourth grade in a school district around Dallas. Of course, as soon as I hung up I thought about some other things I could have said- the switch is my first home console since the gamecube. Up until the switch came out, I just played my ds and 3ds and of that just mainly pokemon games. Part of the appeal of the switch to me was that I would be able to use it at school to play games with my kids- whether it be as an incentive or part of a lesson or something like that. Nothing like that has occurred in my class yet, but we will see. I have a vision of having my class play Mario Kart and collecting some sort of data on it. That would be pretty cool I think.
Anyway, I'll leave a review for your show on iTunes one of these days. Thanks for all you do for the switch community.’

          • 2 things:
            1) you said that if you buy the physical version of Resident Evil 1 and
2, you don't have to worry about the file sizes. I actually think I
remember reading somewhere that even the physical version would only
contain #1 on the cartridge and then a download code for RE2
            . Which of
course is horrible, and one reason I might pass on this.
            2) You asked what size MicroSD cards people had. I got 128GB because I'm
buying physical of everything I possibly can. Due to resale and
longevity I don't trust digital downloads. As a result, this is going to
affect my purchase decision of RE1&2.

His punctuality with posting new episodes is impeccable as well. It is a great feeling to know which days I can always expect a new podcast about the Switch and know the content is going to be excellent. I would rate this podcast higher than five stars if I could! Keep up the great work.

        • Hey man,
Have started listening to your podcast. Love how articulate and succinct you are. I'm currently debating whether to take the plunge or not - I probably will 😉 - but just quickly... Where the hell is Switch Sports? Or a Mario Bowling? The thing that made the original Wii so popular. The thing that would show off the Switch and its controllers and would almost single-handedly sell an awful lot more units. Feels like a giant elephant-sized hole in the line up. Have you heard of anything? Tennis. Bowling. Air hockey. That sort of thing. Indy or otherwise.
Cheers, Keep up the good work.
          James, London.
