A few weeks ago on the podcast you mentioned that you were fed up with Amazon not delivering on time but didn't really want to switch to buying games from Best Buy because you would have to go pick them up. I wanted to let you know that Best Buy will ship games to you for free. I recently stopped buying from Amazon and joined the Gamer's Club program and it's great so far. Mario Odyssey was the first game I got with the club, and I got a $10 bonus coupon for buying, along with $5 off for joining the club. Long story short I'm getting Doom for $32! The reason I decided to go with Best Buy over Amazon is that Amazon makes you preorder to get the discount. I was forcing myself to buy games I wasn't sure about because I wanted 20% off, but that is no longer an issue.

  - Blades living weapons.
    - Have support abilities (like Pokémon abilities that let you traverse)
    - Drivers in control (many blades)
    - The talent tree looks insane.
    - Send unused blades into mercenary groups to go off and complete quests for you.
  - Time and weather influence what monsters that you will run into.
  - Remove the map from the screen and have a Diablo style overlay.

  - Just listened to episode 102, and wanted to offer input on the 2D costume issues in Mario Odyssey. The only time I ran into this issue was when I was not wearing a matching outfit. I had on the racing suit but the caveman hat and when I went into a 2D level, I was wearing the classic outfit. Any other time I was wearing a matching costume it showed up in 2D as well. Haven't done any specific research on this, but I do remember this instance that caused me to pay closer attention to it. Thanks for a great Nintendo news podcast.

  - Multiple people mentioned this but I think that Kodiak Moonwolf summed this up perfectly.
  - Think I have an answer in regards to the 2d stuff on odyssey (I posted in spoilers but i know you're not reading it) So I think i've just worked out the mystery of the costumes, and what happened with that person who emailed in on the Podcast, It looks like that if you're wearing a full costume (i.e. hat and body) then when you go into 2D, the game has a sprite for it. but i guess, they didn't make sprites for all the possible combinations if your different costumes. I tested by going into a 2d section wearing a full costume, sprite showed up, but when i went in with different parts, it defaulted to the standard mario
