Sarah is a mama of one from New Jersey, USA.
Before falling pregnant Sarah was terrified of labour and thought that the only way to birth was to give her power away to a doctor, take the drugs and wake up with a baby.
However when she fell pregnant she educated herself, listened to natural birth stories and used the power of a positive mindset to go from fearing labour to visualizing and living out her own dream birth in a birth center.
There are as many ways to birth a baby as there are women on this planet.
The most important thing is that the woman birthing feels empowered throughout her experience, and Sarah felt just that.

Olivia is a mum of one from San Diego, California.
She has a MA degree in Spiritual Psychology, is a practicing Reiki Master and has been in the health and healing industry for over a decade.

She sees her birth as a gift that transformed her perception of fear, pain, and what she now knows she is capable of in this lifetime.

She started out as a young uninformed woman choosing the most common option in our modern age, an obstetrician and the medicalized route, being induced and experiencing a range of interventions with her first pregnancies, births and babies.
As she experienced the negative effects of over medicalized pregnancies and births, she started to educate herself and ended up choosing to radically claim her pregnancy, birth and her birth space by free birthing her 5th baby.

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Jami
Jami is a mum of 3 from the US.
Her first birth was 7 years ago and at that point she didn’t really prepare for her birth and ended up having a standard medicalized hospital birth with an epidural that gave her negative side effects. When she fell pregnant again she had a lot of fear about birthing again, but realized what she really feared was the epidural.
The second time around she educated herself and prepared body, mind and soul for a natural birth but still ended up having medical interventions that, in hindsight, she would have declined knowing what she knows now.
Her husband said that she educated and prepared herself for her third birth like it was her first ever.
And her preparation paid off. Her third bubba was born just a few weeks ago and she finally had the birth she wanted all along.
She had a birth voice the whole way through and spoke up and advocated for herself so that she could have the birth she wanted.
It was the most incredible and empowering experience of her life.

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Joanna
Joanna is a mum of 3, 2 living children and a baby who left already in the first trimester.
She’s originally from Poland but now lives in the UK.
She works as a project manager for a building control company, however she has now trained to be an NLP and Hypnobirthing coach..
Joanna had her first daughter 10 years ago in a medicalized birth she describes as traumatic.
In this episode we talk about the healing journey she took after that birth which went farther than her own traumatic birth and ended up reaching far back into her ancestral linage and beyond.
When she was finally ready to get pregnant again after 8 years she ended up having a miscarriage that spiraled her into a deep depression before she had her turning point and decided to live and be happy.
That’s when her and her partner decided to try again and finally fell pregnant to her baby girl that she birthed just 3 weeks ago.
This baby was born at home, in water, while Joannas 10 year old daughter was watching.
Throughout Joannas story, the healing of the feminine is a red thread. From the healing of her matriarchal linage, to gifting her daughter the gift of both witnessing a miscarriage and understanding that death too is part of life and then witnessing her mother in her sovereign power birthing her baby sister.
