How to Sell without Selling Oct 28, 2020
    Show notes

In this upbeat episode, the host shares their infectious excitement for life, reflecting on a fulfilling weekend and the joy of parenting a four-year-old comedian. The discussion delves into a thought-provoking shift from the entrepreneur label to embracing being a "shareholder," challenging negative connotations.

The core theme revolves around the crucial lesson of selling as serving in the entrepreneurial journey. The host critiques the aggressive and impersonal selling tactics, emphasizing the importance of building genuine connections and avoiding the pitfalls of a shotgun approach. Drawing parallels with the failures of the "Field of Dreams" strategy, the episode underscores the significance of customer-centric product development and the power of word-of-mouth recommendations.

Throughout, the message is clear: relationships are the best equity and capital. The episode concludes with a call to change perspectives on selling, focusing on serving customers, and a reminder that relationships will always outshine algorithms in business success.

Quit Moving the Starting Line Oct 26, 2020
    Show notes

Welcome to the Monday Energy Boost! Today's focus: not moving the starting line. Here's the deal - you can't win a game or race you never start. The enemy? The distraction of perfection. The iPhone didn't start perfect, but it began, evolved, and succeeded.

    Tips for you:

Now, Not Later: Don't set future dates. Do it now or reconsider.

Create a Win Jar: Use David Goggins' Cookie Jar - store triumphs, pull them out for motivation.

5-Second Rule: Mel Robbins' trick - count down from five and take action.

Daily Progress: Big goals need daily steps. Lay those bricks for future success.

Be Intentional: Plan your day the night before, stick to it, and remove backdoors.

Bottom line? Feel the energy, stop delaying, and take that first step today. Whether it's a walk or a commitment, start the game. Remember, relationships beat algorithms. See you next time!

You Need To Stop Doing THIS Today Oct 19, 2020
    Show notes

Welcome to another Monday Minute episode! Today, we're diving into the power of mindset and clarity. I'm sharing a profound quote from one of my favorite books, "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. As an entrepreneur, this book is a must-read, and Frankl's wisdom transcends into all aspects of life.

The quote goes like this: "Don't aim at success. The more you aim at it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued. It must ensue and it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself, or as the byproduct of one's surrender to a person other than oneself. Happiness must happen, and the same holds for success. You have to let it happen by not caring about it."

These words hit home for me on personal, relational, and business levels. I keep this quote on my desk for a regular dose of grounding and perspective. I encourage you to absorb these words, let them resonate, and keep them close. Success, like happiness, is a byproduct of dedication to a higher cause. So, take this wisdom with you throughout your week, and remember, relationships beat algorithms. See you in the next episode!

The 2 Most Wasted Pieces Of Digital Real Estate… and how you can optimize them Oct 14, 2020
    Show notes

Hey, it's Wednesday, and I've got a funny story for you. I love talking, happy or sad, it's my thing. Today, let's talk about the two most overlooked areas in digital marketing: confirmation pages and transactional emails.

Quick tip: confirmation pages matter. They set the tone for your customer relationship. Surprise them with value—videos, gifts—on that page. Don't kill the buzz after a purchase.

Now, transactional emails—they're gold. From order receipts to shipping notifications, use them wisely. Guide customers on what to do before their product arrives. Eliminate buyer's remorse and create excitement.

Bonus: think beyond digital. Handwritten notes, packaging—every touchpoint matters. Make it memorable.

Remember, these small touches can make or break your customer journey. Stay awesome!

I Need You And So Does The World Oct 12, 2020

Welcome to another Monday Minutes, where we jumpstart your week in under five minutes—well, maybe a bit longer today. Last week, we explored grace, and today, inspired by a powerful realization during meditation, we're delving into "The Story of You."

Your uniqueness is vital—to yourself, friends, family, team, and the world. Today, I'm sharing part of my journey, beautifully captured by storyteller Eliya Finkelstein. Despite early challenges, my path led to success, but the Civilized Caveman brand became an unhealthy addiction, a cycle I needed to break.

A turning point came after an Ayahuasca experience. I walked away from Civilized Caveman, embracing integrity and self-love. Now, my business mirrors my authentic self. Your story, too, is unique and needed. Embrace your authenticity, kickstart your week positively, and keep progressing. Relationships will always beat algorithms.

This extended Monday Minute runs around 13 to 15 minutes. Your story matters—kickstart your week and keep moving forward. Thanks for being here, and let's embrace the journey of growth and love together.
