All the software I use for my business Nov 11, 2020
    Show notes

Hello, beautiful listeners! Today, we're talking about essential software tools for a successful business. But first, a quick personal story: my family and I are moving from California to Montana for simplicity and a deeper connection with nature.

Tool #1: Bonjoro (Relationship Building) Bonjoro is my top relationship tool, enabling personalized video messages for clients. It adds a human touch, ensuring clients feel valued and supported. Automation can't replace genuine connections, and Bonjoro helps maintain that authenticity.

Tool #2: DropFunnels (Website Building) For websites, DropFunnels is my go-to. As a funnel builder on top of WordPress, it offers control, customization, and excellent SEO. Longevity, ownership, and scalability without compromising speed make it my preferred choice.

Tool #3: ConvertKit (Email Communication) In the realm of email communication, ConvertKit stands out. Focused on being the best CRM and email platform, it delivers high-quality service, excellent deliverability, and ease of use for scaling campaigns and automations.

Tools #4 & #5: Descript and Simplecast (Podcasting) For podcast creation and hosting, I rely on Descript and Simplecast. Descript handles recording, editing, and transcription seamlessly, while Simplecast serves as an efficient hosting platform for effective podcast management.

Simplicity and consistency are key. Avoid hoarding tools or chasing the latest trends. Choose tools aligned with your goals, keep it simple, and master them. Remember, the tool alone won't solve problems—it's a means to amplify your efforts.

This too Shall Pass Nov 09, 2020
    Show notes

Hey, beautiful listeners! Whether it's Monday or any other day, I've got a vital message for you. I want to delve into a powerful phrase: "This too shall pass." In my 12 years of coaching entrepreneurs, I've witnessed the greatest challenge is feeling alone during tough times. I emphasize that storms are inevitable, but the key is not facing them alone.

Drawing inspiration from nature, I highlight how a buffalo herd faces storms head-on because they understand it's the quickest way through. Entrepreneurship doesn't have to be a solitary journey. The adversities we encounter—ad account shutdowns, unsuccessful offers, revenue uncertainties—are part of the entrepreneurial landscape. Remember, you can't read the label from inside the jar.

Sharing personal experiences of navigating storms, I stress the importance of reaching out for support. Acknowledge the challenge, create space for yourself, and then seek help. The human experience involves modulation, a range of highs and lows, making the entrepreneurial journey a unique gift.

Opening up and asking for help can be tough, but it's often the catalyst for breakthroughs. I share how seeking support has played a pivotal role in rebuilding my business amid challenges, creating monumental results.

The core message is clear: you're not alone. The podcast, the community, the collective support exist to ensure you never feel isolated. Storms will come, but we're here to guide, advise, and navigate them together. Your secret to success lies in leaning on the power of community and connection, even when it feels tempting to go at it alone.

Remember, this too shall pass. Reach out when needed, ask for help when necessary, and embrace the collective strength of our entrepreneurial community.

My Biggest Lesson in 2020 Nov 04, 2020
    Show notes

In this episode, I share a lighthearted personal story of a kitchen flood turned decluttering session, highlighting the lesson of finding joy amidst chaos. Shifting gears, I delve into my pivotal business lesson of 2020 – the imperative of infusing heart into every aspect of business.

Emphasizing the role of emotions over logic, I draw parallels with Apple's marketing strategy, stressing the need to understand customers on a deep, emotional level. I underscore the lasting impact of emotional connections and shifted beliefs in business success.

The takeaway is clear: prioritizing feelings in decision-making, be it designing customer journeys or crafting emails, establishes genuine and lasting bonds. The episode concludes with a reminder that authentic relationships will always triumph over algorithms, urging businesses to embrace heart-driven strategies for lasting success.

    Show notes

Whether it's a Monday or any other day, I've got a guarantee for you! But before I spill the beans, let's take a moment. Close your eyes, wherever you are, and indulge in a deliberate 5.5-second inhale and exhale. Breathe it in, feel it resonate within you, and now, here's your gift: Your win is a sure thing, your success is guaranteed. But here's the secret sauce—commitment.

Commitment is the magic key. It means moving forward, lacing up those shoes, and taking a step, even when the path is unclear. It's navigating through emotions, tears, joy, and everything in between, all while keeping your eyes on the target. Commitment ensures no failures, only lessons, and no excuses, just steps forward.

Your success might not unfold exactly as you envision, and that's the beauty of it. Embrace the journey, for it's destined to look different, unique to your movie of life. I'm right there in the trenches, lacing up for my own journey, step by step, toward the vision I'm crafting.

So take another deep breath, soak in that commitment, and have a beautiful day!
