There’s No Perfectionism In Entrepreneurship Oct 21, 2024
    Show notes

In this episode of The Mind of George Show, we’re tackling a big one—perfectionism in entrepreneurship. I’m sharing some personal stories, including a powerful lesson I learned from a pottery class that completely shifted my perspective.

Spoiler alert: focusing on quantity over perfection can actually lead to better quality results.

We’ll dive into why iteration and progress matter so much more than getting everything perfect the first time, and how taking action (even when it’s messy) is the key to success. Plus, I’ll talk about how tapping into community support can help you break free from those perfectionist tendencies.

Tune in and learn how to:

    • Build resilience as a foundational skill for entrepreneurial success
    • Let go of perfectionism to accelerate progress and execution
    • Focus on needle-moving activities that drive real impact, not distractions
    • Invest in relationships and connections, as they are far more valuable than any algorithm

And guess what? You don’t have to do it alone! Join us at our next event, November 14th-16th in Montana, where we’ll dive even deeper into these topics.

It’s going to be a game-changing experience, and I’d love to see you there!

From Rock Bottom to Redemption with Ryan McGuire Oct 04, 2024
    Show notes

On today’s episode, I’m honored to have been interviewed by Ryan McGuire on “The Pursuit of Happiness” podcast. In this episode, I get real about my journey from rock bottom to redemption. Growing up, I faced some tough challenges—parental addiction, abuse, and later battling bulimia and PTSD while serving as a Marine. Things didn’t get easier as I stepped into entrepreneurship, struggling with opiate addiction and a ton of personal and professional turbulence.

But here’s the thing—hitting rock bottom wasn’t the end of my story. The birth of my son changed everything for me. It sparked a transformation I didn’t see coming. Through therapy and an incredible ayahuasca experience, I found a path to healing and strength that I didn’t know was possible. I talk about the power of love, persistence, and what it means to be a role model for my kids. If you're in a tough spot or just looking for some inspiration, this episode is for you. Trust me, it’s all about relentless perseverance and self-discovery, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
