    #55(Part1) Stronger Body, Sharper Mind, & a Stress-Proof Life w/Movement Expert: Aaron Alexander Dec 23, 2019
    Show notes

Our guest, quite literally, wrote the guidebook on how our thoughts and emotions form our physical structures and the unparalleled influence the power of movement has on our mental, emotional, and physiological make up. A passionate movement expert, Aaron Alexander, relays relevant, actionable, and relatable tools for bettering our ability to experience more joy and less pain. In this episode we explore his specific method of healing, “the align method”, including defining and aligning postural archetypes that may be hindering us, his five movement principles that will reshape your body and life, and how honing our senses will give us the edge we need to thrive! So much more than an accomplished manual therapist and movement coach, with an endless list of research and credentials, he’s illustrated a way to make each moment an opportunity of development for your mind, body, and movement, and through this he inspires us to drop restrictions on our capacity to give and receive love, and to remember that our time in these bodies is far too short to limp through life with a guarded heart.

#53 Mapping the Psyche w/ Erick Godsey, on Archetypes, the Ego, & Dream Interpretation Dec 09, 2019
    Show notes

This type of absolute genius is not easy to come by, which is why we’re extremely lucky to have him on our show for a second time! He is a psychonaut, as well as a cognitive, evolutionary, and Jungian psychologist, and a major advocate for psychedelics. Currently, he’s doing the work he’s most passionate about: seeking out and scientifically studying the stories that heal people, largely through his revolutionary podcast, aptly named “The Myths That Make Us”. Erick’s ethos is to speak and act in truth and (with) love, which we explore fully in this episode. Per usual he holds nothing back, diving deeply into his journey between monogamous and open relationships, and instructing us on how to grow, both in and out of relationship. A master Magician himself, Godsey describes the different psychological Archetypes that each of us embody, along with how identifying them in ourselves will enrich our lives, and, finally, how to balance them.

An absolute cacophony of truths, backed with palliative, oh-so abundant wisdom, this episode is here, just waiting to be discovered by some unsuspecting bystander... could that be you?!

If you’d like to hear more from Erick Godsey, check out EPSIODE #4 where we explore everything from the basics of Jungian Depth and Dream Psychology to Micro-dosing with Psychedelics.

    MAJic Tricks:

    •Make “Toilet Time” more meaningful.

•How to don slippers instead of attempting to carpet the whole Earth.

    Book reco’s:

    Movie reco’s:

    •The Matrix

If you’d like to get to know The MAJic Hour Podcast hosts more deeply, we invite you to give a listen to the episodes of Erick’s podcast, The Myths That Make Us, where he interviews us, separately. Both episodes are extremely vulnerable and open, so please be forewarned that they may be triggering.

#52(Part 2) Brazen Mystic, Mercedes Terrell, shares Her Truth through Love & Logic Dec 02, 2019
    Show notes

In one of our sexiest episodes yet we tackle tips for going down on your woman, the importance of penis size, and what being sexy really means. All this, amongst navigating life altering breakdowns/awakenings and how to manifest the best version of yourself and achieve your highest goals...

Having spent the better part of her life digging up uncomfortable truths, constantly leaning into the grey, and “seeking the pain for positive gain”, Mercedes Terrell, is a shining example of how passion and perseverance paves the way toward self-mastery. Her perspective on how our old stuck patterns and domestications keep us from remembering that "we already are" everything we strive for, is refreshing and eye opening in a way that sheds light into the darkest corners of our minds where our deepest fears and roadblocks are harbored. As a woman who’s journeyed into the world of existentialism for decades, she’s uncovering and relaying tools that’ve not only helped heal her, but can help us all to reclaim ourselves mentally, physically, and spiritually.

A master in the art of modeling, she started the social media movement: #KeepItREALISH, asking influencers to take responsibility for the effects of what they post. By brazenly exploring her own insecurities and vulnerabilities with her following, she’s changing what it means to be a “model”, and setting an extraordinary example of how to turn a one-dimensional career into a path toward her multi-faceted calling.

In this episode we explore her story of becoming: from being bullied at home, in school, and in relationship, to now, becoming a safe place for others to be seen, heard, and held. Through her work as a top-ranked podcast host, she views others as an opportunity to experience another angle of the universe, and in this exploration she shares her own logic, wisdom, & mysticism for those who are open to it.

Please enjoy this interview with our very own MAJic woman, Mercedes Terrell.
