    Show notes

As an esteemed life coach, international speaker, & mindfulness teacher, Thais, is assisting the seekers of the world to uncover and release their trauma, while reclaiming their sense of belonging. Bringing balance to those who need to soften in their rigidness, or need to ground themselves if overly empathic, she coaches people on how to explore, trust and express themselves unapologetically, and to heal what she calls the “worthiness wound”. She shares how her journey began, tending to her own childhood trauma, and has led her to study emotional resilience, somatic therapy, social justice and spiritual psychology in search for sovereignty and healing. As an extension of her work in worthiness, we explore her ideas around White Fragility and how to communicate effectively around the tricky topic of White Privilege. She helps us to see how each of us are living from a unique reality; a fact that, once understood, can begin to unwind the prejudices we’ve been consciously and unconsciously living with. This conversation was entirely enlightening; We hope you soak it up from start to finish.

    # 36 Kyle Kingsbury: from Threesomes to Keto to Resurrecting from the Dead, He Reveals It All. Jul 22, 2019
    Show notes

In our most explicit episode yet, our guest introduces us to what being comfortable in your manhood really looks like. We “slide right in” to the show by learning what “anal training” is; Then, having just experienced his first 2-dude threesome, Kyle explores, in great detail, all the ins and outs (pun intended) of committing to and thriving in his open marriage with wife and former Invicta Ring Girl, Natasha Kingsbury. An adept physical and mental fitness expert, Kyle has spent the last 20 years studying, training, and fine tuning the art of biohacking. As a keto aficionado, and a former professional MMA fighter for the UFC, he gives us the run down on how to become better humans from the inside out, sharing the importance of knowing, specifically, how our bodies respond to what we eat and how we think. Some of his deepest learning comes through his work with plant medicines; He walks us through his most impactful journeys with Ayahuasca and 5-MeO DMT. Boys and Babes, put on your rainbow speedos (Kyle’s known for wearing one regularly), leave the kiddos at home, and tune in with an open mind for the wild ride we’re about to take you on!

#35 Pro MMA Fighter, Jessy Jess, on Sobriety, Domestic Abuse, Adaptability, & Perseverance Jul 15, 2019
    Show notes

A true fighter, not only in the cage but in life- thru the ups & downs of her career, instead of giving up, our guest Jessy Jess, has evolved, made lifestyle changes, & pushed forward. She’s a role model in perseverance, sobriety, mental & physical strength, revitalization, & adaptability as she continues on with her seven-year professional MMA career. She shares her story of growing up in a Gypsy lifestyle with seventeen siblings traveling the globe, struggling to call any one place “home”. Her upbringing largely influenced the way she reacted within her adult relationships, often running away at the first sign of a problem, and allowing powerful men to chastise her. As she moved from one abusive relationship to the next, she fell deeper into her alcohol addiction, finally hitting her rock bottom as she faced her biggest competitor yet, herself. Now over one year sober, Jessy has found new clarity and motivation to persevere toward her goal of becoming a world champion mixed martial artist, but also in becoming the conscious human of service that she was always meant to be. In our books, she’s already won; We hope you enjoy this look into what makes her a SHEro in our eyes!

#32 Impact in Real Time, Tom Shadyac & Cheryl Strayed host LIVE closing talk at Mountain Film Festival Jun 26, 2019
    Show notes

Another unorthodox episode from the MAJic Hour... we were able to convince the incredible people at Mountain Film festival to allow us to record this talk from the closing day. Hosted by uber-famous writer/director and philanthropist, Tom Shadyac, and world-renowned writer and filmmaker, Cheryl Strayed, this conversation highlights all that the festival and its theme of “Equity” was able to bring more awareness to. The star-studded attendees, including the artists that created and starred in the films shown there, came to this closing talk with their hearts wide open to share what they learned at the festival this year.

Truly an inspiring episode, where such a variety of diverse and incredible humans share their thoughts, processes, and gratitude with brave vulnerability and openness.

Considering this is a LIVE recording we captured in the most unobtrusive way possible, the audio isn’t ideal, yet we still felt that the heart-warming messages included in this episode were important enough to pass along. We hope you gain as much value from it as we did.
