Seeing with Your Heart Mindfulness and Awareness Aug 30, 2023
    Show notes

Life has thrown some major curveballs our way lately, from fires and earthquakes to flooding and tropical storms. It's during these challenging times that we have the opportunity to tap into our inner strength and resilience. With recent natural disasters and challenging times, it's more important to cultivate mindfulness and awareness, and to find wholeness and completeness within ourselves, no matter what comes our way.

In this episode, we explore the incredible power of shifting our perspective and seeing the world through our hearts rather than just our eyes. Our eyes can only show us what's on the surface, but when we open our hearts, we can truly see the beauty and magic that exists beyond what meets the eye. It's about shifting our perspective and embracing the experiences life presents us with.

Our experiences on this earth become so much more beautiful when we view them through the lens of our heart. By shifting our perspective from what we see with our eyes to what we feel in our hearts, we invite more love, joy, and abundance into our lives. This episode reminds us that when we lead with love and authenticity, we create a life that aligns with our truest selves.

    Key Takeaways

[00:01:24] Being mindful and aware. [00:06:09] Commemorating young lives lost. [00:07:30] Bunny families living longer. [00:10:41] Overcoming challenges through perception. [00:11:22] Seeing with our hearts.

    Memorable Quotes

"I think we see the world, we have these perceptions and biases and even project what we think, and experience will be by what we know or think we know with our eyes that translate to what we are thinking in our mind. The miracle happens when we start seeing with our heart and choose to move forward to do a hard thing or a healing thing or a perceived challenging thing." [00:10:16] – Mary Dee

Fill Your Cup First: Embracing Self-Care and Living in Alignment Aug 23, 2023
    Show notes

I must admit, the past few weeks have been quite eventful for me. From battling COVID to supporting my sweet mama through her hospitalization, it's been a rollercoaster ride. But amidst the chaos, I've learned the importance of responding to life's challenges with grace and gratitude. It's through these experiences that I've gained even more insights to share with you.

In this episode, let's explore the importance of taking care of ourselves. Life can throw unexpected challenges our way, and it's crucial to prioritize self-care and put ourselves first. Join me as we delve into strategies for filling our cup first, so that we can show up fully for ourselves and those who rely on us.

As the saying goes, life is 90% how we respond to it, and 10% what happens. We all face unexpected obstacles and monkey wrenches in our plans, but it's how we react and adapt that truly defines us. By taking the time to fill our own cups, we can experience more peace, emotional grounding, and have the energy to tend to our work, families, and homes.

Just like a gas tank, we need to ensure that we are at full capacity to take care of others. So, my dear friends, I encourage you to prioritize self-care and put yourself first. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup.

Moreover, our journey towards a fulfilling life is rooted in gratitude and the belief that abundance is our birthright. By acknowledging and appreciating the blessings we already have, we open ourselves up to receiving even more abundance. Let's cultivate a mindset of gratitude and watch as miracles unfold before our eyes.

    Key Takeaways

[00:02:17] Filling your cup first. [00:04:01] Take care of yourself first. [00:09:11] Filling your cup with intention. [00:12:05] Fill your cup with self-care.

    Memorable Quotes

"Filling your cup first means taking care of you and putting yourself first so that you have full capacity to take care of those who are counting on you. Think of it like a gas tank. If you are always driving around on a tank that is a quarter full of gas or a quarter charge, you're only going to get so far before you have to stop and pull over and fill up." [00:02:22] – Mary Dee

"You may believe that you are being more generous by sacrificing your own well-being for your family, your company, your community, but you're not. You're simply playing the role of savior without saving yourself." [00:12:20] – Mary Dee

Liber8: Healing Disease Through Emotions Aug 02, 2023
    Show notes

Emotional healing is a journey that requires patience, self-compassion, and a willingness to confront and address deep-rooted emotional wounds. Holding space for healing and growth is a concept that is often overlooked in our fast-paced and results-oriented society. However, today's episode reminds us of the profound impact that holding space can have on individuals going through difficult times, particularly in the context of health challenges.

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing the incredible Raj Jana, a former reservoir engineer turned entrepreneur and media host. He is currently the CEO of Liber8, a human transformation company that builds technologies to help people discover, track, and resolve the root emotional causes contributing to their health issues. Raj's passion for building businesses that shift consciousness on the planet is truly inspiring, and he shares his wisdom and experiences with us.

Raj discusses the importance of identifying our triggers and activations and how they can affect our emotional well-being. He emphasizes the significance of having someone guide us through a healing process, helping us address and heal those emotional wounds. By doing so, we create space for healing vibes to show up in our lives and positively impact our physical well-being.

During our conversation, Raj opens up about his own healing journey and emphasizes the importance of vulnerability. He reminds us that life throws challenges at all of us, and it's crucial to be open and honest about our experiences. By sharing our stories, we create a safe space for others to do the same, fostering connection and growth.

We also touch upon the concept of holding space for others. We discuss the transformative power of being present and truly listening to someone's experience without judgment or the need to fix things. Holding space is a precious gift we can offer to others, allowing them to feel seen, heard, and supported.

This episode is filled with wisdom, inspiration, and hope. It's a reminder that we have the power to shift our consciousness, heal, and create a life filled with purpose and joy. Key Takeaways

[00:02:21] Emotional well-being and health issues. [00:05:31] Emotional healing and toolbox. [00:08:03] Erectile dysfunction and self-discovery. [00:12:26] Emotional causes of erectile dysfunction. [00:15:30] Resilience and sitting with discomfort. [00:20:23] Triggers as opportunities for growth. [00:22:00] Starting point for self-love. [00:27:28] The missing emotional support. [00:29:29] Empowering communities to support. [00:32:39] Holding space for healing. [00:36:20] Holding space and listening. [00:40:19] Cancer cohort for emotional resilience. Memorable Quotes

"I think we've just gotten into a culture of wanting the quick fix. We're sold the quick fix. We're sold the fast track. And I think that lasting health, lasting self-esteem, lasting any of the qualities we're trying to create in our lives comes from being with the thing underneath the thing underneath the thing." [00:12:45] – Raj Jana

"And so that's where I think the beginning, if I had to think of a starting point for any type of self-love, it's instead of projecting outwards, turn the mirror back at yourself and really start to be kind and curious in your exploration as to what is the need that's not being met or what is the belief about yourself?" [00:23:15] – Raj Jana

"I think self-love, I used to think self-love was selfish, but now I'm realizing more and more that self-love is inherently, it's something that like, if you don't embody it, you can't actually give love." [00:38:59] – Raj Jana Where To Find & Connect With Our Guest

The Art of Holding Space Jul 26, 2023
    Show notes

One thing I wish I consciously knew before choosing a partner was how to align myself with someone who could hold space for me just as well, if not better, than I hold space for them. But what does it mean to hold space?

Holding space is essential in any relationship, whether it be romantic, familial, or even friendships. It is the act of creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for someone to express themselves fully, without interruption or criticism. It means listening without judgment, without the need to give an opinion or make statements. It's about creating a safe and supportive environment for our loved ones to express themselves fully.

In today's fast-paced and often chaotic world, it can be easy to overlook the power of simply listening. We are constantly bombarded with information, opinions, and advice, and it can be tempting to jump in and offer our own thoughts and judgments. However, true connection and understanding can only be achieved when we listen without judgment and allow others to be vulnerable.

This episode delves into the concept of holding space in relationships, the importance of finding a partner who can hold space for each other, and how it can greatly impact the dynamics between individuals. Discover what it means to hold space and how it can contribute to a fulfilling partnership.

I encourage you to align yourselves with someone who can hold space just as well or better than they can. Overall, this episode aims to inspire you to transform your relationships, your self-awareness, and ultimately, your lives.

    Key Takeaways

[00:01:25] Holding space in relationships. [00:04:12] Cheating and therapy. [00:06:20] Listen and hold space for others. [00:08:03] Holding space for others. [00:11:30] Heal emotionally with a tracking app. [00:12:06] Living an aligned life.

    Memorable Quotes

"I really want to encourage each of you to actively listen to the people in your life, the people who show up and want to tell you what's going on or tell you about their day or tell you about their troubles." [00:06:20] – Mary Dee

"Vulnerability is contagious and we need more of it in the world so that there can be more healing in the world because healed people heal people." [00:10:15] – Mary Dee

What's Self Love Got To Do With It? with Sloane Jul 19, 2023
    Show notes

Self-love is a transformative journey that requires self-reflection, growth, and a deep understanding of oneself. This episode is all about the journey of self-love and all the healing that comes with it, and I had the pleasure of having my dear friend, Sloane, as a special guest.

Sloane is a former business attorney and facilitates transformational peak experiences and retreats around the world. She leads powerful women to their fullest self-expression and power, supporting them in creating success on a legacy level - and most importantly, walking the path of feeling good consistently, and has guided hundreds of entrepreneurs in creating success and fulfilling their highest potential.

Today, Sloane shares her own journey of self-love and how it transformed her life. She beautifully emphasized the importance of being in connection with ourselves. When we truly understand and accept who we are, it becomes easier to connect with others on a deeper level. This connection with ourselves forms the foundation for meaningful relationships with others. She also shares a powerful tool called the "quantum slowdown," which encourages busy individuals to slow down, spend time with themselves, and nurture that relationship. In our busy lives, it's crucial to make time for ourselves. Just like in a relationship, if we neglect spending quality time with ourselves, the relationship suffers. Taking the time to be present with our thoughts, feelings, and desires is essential for cultivating self-love.

Sloane's personal journey to self-love and healing serves as an inspiration. She reminds us that self-love is a continuous process. It's not about reaching a destination, but rather embracing the journey and all the growth and healing that comes with it. Her journey to self-love truly shines through, and I am grateful for the beautiful conversation we had in this episode.

    Key Takeaways

[00:02:29] The journey of self-love. [00:06:36] Creating inner pleasure and fulfillment. [00:10:37] Quality of self-love. [00:12:59] Living in little delights. [00:16:31] Exploring self-love. [00:20:02] Showing up differently in relationships. [00:24:44] Letting go as self-love. [00:28:27] Self-love and healing journey. [00:31:28] Compassion and self-compassion.

    Memorable Quotes

"Other people aren't responsible for my happiness. Other people aren't here to make me feel better or to do things that lift me up or anything like that. And I think that was definitely a context for me in relationships in the past. The way I see it now is I'm responsible for loving myself deeply and as much and as deeply as I can and as I want to." [00:18:33] - Sloane

"That is the pathway to actually feeling good. It's not to pretend like you don't have those things or to try to fix them and make them better. Then you can love yourself. When you allow yourself to go in all the way, that changes everything in terms of compassion and self-compassion." [00:30:48] - Sloane

"I think this self-compassion is really a way to start to see that everybody has their life experience. Everybody has things that maybe they're not proud of or isn't the person they know they could be. Everybody's a human being, whatever we have. It makes it a lot easier to really be in connection with that and in connection with others when you're in connection with you." [00:32:32] - Sloane

It Feels Good To Be Right, Or Does It? Jul 12, 2023
    Show notes

The statement "an open mind receives more delight" is a powerful reminder of the importance of remaining open and receptive to new ideas, experiences, and perspectives. In today's episode, through my personal journey and experiences, I highlight the joy and abundance that comes from having an open mind and encourage you to embrace this mindset, break free from limiting beliefs, and live your most aligned, purposeful, and joy-filled lives.

One of the greatest lessons I've learned on my spiritual journey is that an open mind receives more delight than a closed mind. Embracing new ideas and perspectives can lead to incredible growth and joy. We also should let go of the need to be right. We all have a natural inclination to feel right and defend our beliefs to the point of stubbornness. However, this episode delves into the importance of releasing this need for righteousness. Let's identify the areas where our self-righteousness may be causing division and strive to unite instead. Together, we can create a more harmonious and inclusive world.

Another takeaway from this episode is taking ownership. Living an aligned life means taking complete ownership of our feelings and decisions. It's about living in our truth and embracing our authentic selves. By doing so, we empower ourselves to create the life we truly desire.

If you're as inspired as I am, I encourage you to listen to the full episode. It's packed with wisdom, laughter, and hope dust to uplift your spirits and ignite your inner roar!

    Key Takeaways

[00:01:25] Need to feel right. [00:07:09] Instant healing through prayer. [00:08:01] Miraculous hands-on healings. [00:10:38] Embrace openness and unity. [00:11:11] Live aligned, own your truth.

    Memorable Quotes

"What I know now that I wish I knew before I started my spiritual journey is that an open mind receives more delight than a closed mind, and God doesn't have to yell." [00:01:25] – Mary Dee

"I wish that we all physically had glasses that allowed us to see what another person is actually seeing and experiencing. Because I think that if we all took off our shades and gave them to another person and took the time to put on someone else's shades, we would see a new perspective. And we would also see where we are so alike. We would see more togetherness than we would separation and more connection instead of division." [00:08:30] – Mary Dee

Intuition, also known as the sixth sense, is a natural ability that we all possess. It is the ability to understand something immediately without the need for conscious reasoning. However, many of us have learned to negotiate against it or with it, allowing outside influences to create so much noise in our heads that we become disconnected from our intuition. In this episode, we will explore the concept of intuition, its definition, its power, and how we can tap into it to live a more fulfilled life.

Discover my personal story of receiving an intuitive message and learn how to pay attention to your intuition and to trust the guidance it provides. By learning to trust and tap into our intuition, we can make better decisions and live a more purposeful life. I also emphasize the importance of saying no to people pleasing and being in alignment with our highest purpose.

Join me as we talk about the importance of trusting your intuition and listening to your body, especially when making important decisions. Trusting yourself is loving yourself, and testing your intuition can lead to experiencing more miracles in your life.

    Memorable Quotes

"Intuition is not something you have to learn. But rather something you already have and you might say, no, I don't feel that tuned in. And what I want you to consider is that what has actually happened is that you've always had your intuition and you in fact learned how to negotiate against it or with it." [00:02:11] -Mary Dee

"Your intuition should bring you peace. It should bring you clarity. And part of having the certainty and the clarity around intuition that allows, I know myself, to move forward and stay out of indecision and to listen to what my body and soul are saying to me is by staying tapped in." [00:12:57] -Mary Dee

"Part of us living our purpose is being able to follow our guide and our intuition. The ones that might say, hey, pick up all your stuff and move or sell all your stuff and go here, even though you may not know why, there might be an inner knowing that says there's something for you there." [00:14:13] -Mary Dee
