Sitcom Friend Fall: Make Your Friendships Feel Like The Ones You See On TV Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

I just had a close friend over and the next time we were both available to hang out was in 2 MONTHS. Then I watch these TV shows, like Friends, New Girl, Adults, and How I Met Your Mother, where they’re all hanging out with each other all the time. So I asked myself: can real life friendships be as good as the friendships portrayed on TV?

I dove into these sitcoms and the science, and it turns out there are five very real steps we can all take to have sitcom-level friendships in our real adult lives (no matter where we live or how old we are).

I came up with this action plan for a sitcom friend fall. Sitcom friend fall is a commitment we’re all taking together to have truly fun, fulfilling, and deeper friendships in our lives this fall.

    🎧 What you’ll learn:

    • A formula for building inside jokes, shared rituals, and that "you had to be there" feeling

    • How to skip small talk and get to real, unfiltered intimacy and trust with friends

    • The 3 key ingredients that make sitcom friendships feel like family

I Want To Enter My Crone Era, But Society Won't Let Me Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock are 62 and 59 years old, yet look significantly younger. During their press tour for their new movie, some people are saying “this standard feels impossible, why can’t we just age!”.

In today’s episode, I talk about the crone era: a phase in a woman’s elder life where she stops seeking approval, embraces her hard-earned wisdom, and unapologetically prioritizes her own desires.

    🎧 What you’ll learn:

    • The real economic reasons performing beauty pays off, especially for women

    • The one hidden cost extremely beautiful people pay, that most of us never see

    • How society stripped value from being the "wise elder" (and what that has to do with Botox)

    • A simple gut-check question to tell if your beauty routine is helping you live more, or less

    • One phrase we all say to older women that's secretly doing more harm than good
