Latest Episodes:

Episode #269 - Writers' Room: America's Newest Legacy #514 & #515 Dec 05, 2023

Show notes

A dynamic duo of issues about a dynamic duo of heroes!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:46:50

We actually talk about even more issues than just the two! But those are the focus of the story, certainly. We also have a thrilling letters section, with some never before asked questions! A landmark episode, to be sure.

Join us next week for an episode about an alternate Freedom Five line-up... which we've already recorded!

Episode #268 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 4 #60-#61 Nov 28, 2023

Show notes

Two issues today?

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:40:25

No, actually more than two issues! We have a LOT of issues, and we talk about many of them. That could be the tagline of The Letters Page, actually.

Get your questions for "Young Legacy and Expatriette team-up" and "Alternate Freedom Five line-up" in ASAP! And Christopher will be at PAX Unplugged this weekend, so come find him!

Editor's Note #73 Nov 21, 2023

Show notes

The saltiest Editor's Note!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:47:18

Christopher is sitting! Adam did art! We eat candy! And talk about a schedule!

Upcoming schedule:

Tuesday, December 5th: Episode #269: Writers' Room: Young Legacy and Expatriette team-up
Tuesday, December 12th: Episode #270: Writers' Room: Alternate Freedom Five Line-Up (not Disparation)
Tuesday, December 19th: Editor's Note #74
Tuesday, December 26th: Episode #271: Writers' Room: Captain Cosmic and/or Naturalist Story Where Neither Are Responsible For The Relevant Problem And Both Contribute Positively To Its Satisfying Resolution And Neither Are Tricked By Anyone In The Process

There are questions, answers, goofs, and gaffes. Essentially, everything you've come to expect from The Letters Page!

We're recording the next three episodes in the next weekish, so get your questions in ASAP, especially for the episodes annouced here!

Episode #267 - Writers' Room: Prime Wardens Vol. 2 #29 Nov 14, 2023

Show notes

To the land of the dead! But with mummies and lots of sand!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:40:28

Christopher starts off with another tale of injury, but this was far lower stakes and more medically attended to than last year's cave story, so that's good, at least!

Then, our heroes fall! But will they rise again? Gosh, let's hope so!

If you're a Letters Page Patreon supporter, join us this Friday for a live Editor's Note! If not, you'll hear it next Tuesday! Either way: it'll be a fun time!

Episode #266 - Writers' Room: Arcane Tales Vol. 2 #506 Nov 07, 2023

Show notes

Spooky season continues with a Very Spooky November!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:25:31

This one gets pretty extreme! We're gonna tell a few issues worth of story, and we're going to try to not make this the longest episode, as a result. We think we did a pretty OK job at both — what do you think?

Join us next week for Episode #267: Prime Wardens in the Egyptian Underworld! Get your questions in about it now!

Episode #265 - Writers' Room: The Guise Book #22 Oct 31, 2023

Show notes

Happy Halloween!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:50:31

This Halloween, Guise has got his hands full... full of stakes with which to stab vampires! Draculas, specifically.

We tell the whole tale, revealing much, but also sneaking some non-reveals in there, as well! We also answer many questions on a few topics, including the surprisingly well-received Sk8Blayd episode!

Join us next week for an episode about GloomWeaver and Æternus... which we've already recorded! But if you've got questions about the Prime Wardens in the Egyptian Underworld, send them in!

Editor's Note #72 Oct 24, 2023

Show notes

We're back! It's been too long!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:28:07

We talk about songs, do some goofs, and reveal an already revealed schedule!

Upcoming schedule:

Tuesday, November 7th: Episode #266: GloomWeaver vs. Æternus
Tuesday, November 14th: Episode #267: Prime Wardens in the Egyptian Underworld
Tuesday, November 21st: Editor's Note #73
Tuesday, November 28th: Episode #268: Grimm: Lord of the Harvest

Amazing.

Then we read real life letters, answer questions, meta questions, and meta meta questions. Including a surprise guest near the end of the episode! Stay tuned and find out!

Join us next week for Episode #265 about Guise fighting the Draculas!

Episode #264 - Writers' Room: Savage Haka #100 Oct 17, 2023

Show notes

We came here to talk about wolves and travel the world, and we're all out of travel time! Awwwooooo!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:22:29

Our THIRD episode recorded in 2 days, and yet, we pull it off majestically! At least, WE think we're majestic. Don't burst our bubble.

This is a very 90s story, and as such, it has a very 90s cover, complete with ridiculous hologram! Look at the great work Adam did crafting a hologram to make this cover look terrible! I mean awesome!

Now that schedule things are back to normal, we've got an Editor's Note coming up VERY SOON! In fact, that's next week's episode! And, if you're on the Letters Page Patreon, you can watch it live this coming Friday! Heck, if you're a Contributor to said Patreon, you can join in the chat and be part of the episode! Exciting! Check out the Letters Page Patreon, and keep on saving the Multiverse! (You can save the Multiverse whether you're a part of the Patreon or not, though, to be clear.)

Episode #263 - Writers' Room: America's Finest Legacy #171 / NightMist #10 Oct 10, 2023

Show notes

Good morning, Sentinels fans! Rise and shine... FROM THE GRAVE!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:37:30

We're back with another thrilling tale to delight and horrify! You thought you'd seen the last of General Geist?! Well, who can say.

This is one of our favorite episodes in a while. We hope you like it too!

Join us next week for a HOWLING good time!

Episode #262 - Writers' Room: Tome of the Bizarre Vol. 2 #310 Oct 03, 2023

Show notes

Kicking off the spooky months with a bang!

Show Notes:

Run Time: 1:35:45

This is the FIRST of the three episodes recorded in a row... and yet! It could be the third, based on the amount of goofy unhinged nonsense we're up to, right off the bat! Why? Who can say?

But then, we get into a story, and we try to play it cool, but we let some things slip. You'll figure it out! And if not, don't worry, we reveal all... or, at least, a lot. Time will tell, and all that!

Join us next week for an (already recorded) episode all about an old Nazi foe, back from the dead!
