Hope for Today - Give God What You Have Aug 10, 2026

In John 6, we read the powerful story of Jesus feeding more than 5,000 people with just five small barley loaves and two fish offered by a young boy.

It didn’t seem like much for such a great need. But when the boy gave what he had to Jesus, everything changed.

This story reminds us of something we often forget: God doesn’t need much to do a miracle. He just wants us to give Him what we have and trust Him with the rest.

Jesus could have created food out of nothing, but instead He chose to multiply what was given to Him.

In this episode of Hope for Today, we talk about what happens when we bring what we have, no matter how small it feels, to Jesus, and how a heart of gratitude prepares us to see God do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine.

Because in God’s hands, what seems like “not enough” can become more than enough…immeasurably more.

When life doesn’t unfold the way you expected, it can be tempting to give up, not just on your plans, but on believing that God is still working.
