Chapter 14 – The Story of a Grain of Wheat

In Chapter 14 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Story of a Grain of Wheat,” we are invited to see the spiritual meaning Jesus gave to the grain of wheat that falls into the ground and dies.

Jessie points us to the simple but powerful truth that fruitfulness comes through death to self and union with Christ. The grain must be hidden, buried, and broken before it can bring forth life. In the same way, the believer’s life becomes fruitful as it is yielded to the deep working of the Cross.

May this episode help you trust the hidden work of God and receive the life that bears much fruit — immeasurably more.

    Chapter 13 – The Soul-Winner’s Secret

In Chapter 13 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Soul-Winner’s Secret,” we begin Part 2, “Much Fruit,” and are invited to consider the hidden spiritual life behind fruitful service for Christ.

Jessie reminds us that true fruitfulness does not begin with outward activity, natural ability, or human effort, but with a life deeply yielded to God. The soul-winner’s secret is found in union with Christ, where the Cross has done its inward work and the life of Jesus is free to flow through the believer.

May this episode draw you into deeper surrender and help you receive the fruitful life Christ gives — immeasurably more.

Who Told You That? - "If Only..." Sep 30, 2026
    Show notes

    If only…

How often do we convince ourselves that if our circumstances were different, we would be different…happier, more peaceful, more grateful, more content?

In Episode 1 of Who Told You That?, we’re talking about the lie that contentment is always waiting for us somewhere else.

Our circumstances affect us, but they don’t have to determine our joy or who we become. We don’t have to wait for everything to change to experience God’s goodness, presence, peace, and purpose today.

So when your mind and heart start saying, If only…

Stop and ask: Who told you that?

Maybe God wants to meet you, change you, and teach you contentment right where you are.

Hope for Today - When You're Exhausted Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

Sometimes the exhaustion isn’t just physical.

    It’s emotional. Spiritual. Mental.

It’s carrying too much for too long while trying to keep going.

In this gentle and hope-filled episode of Hope for Today, we’re reminded that God never asked us to carry life alone. Jesus invites the weary, burdened, and exhausted to come to Him and find rest.

If you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, discouraged, or worn thin, this episode is a reminder that God sees you, He knows, and He will sustain you.

You do not have to strive your way through this season.

    You can rest in Him.

Chapter 12 – The Messenger of the Cross

In Chapter 12 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Messenger of the Cross,” we are invited to consider what it means to carry the message of the Cross in both word and life.

Jessie reminds us that the messenger of the Cross must know more than the doctrine of the Cross; the message must be formed within the messenger. The Cross shapes the servant, humbles the heart, and reveals the power of God through a life surrendered to Christ. True ministry flows not from human wisdom or strength, but from the life of Jesus working through a yielded vessel.

May this episode help you embrace the message and the way of the Cross, and receive the life of Christ for faithful service — immeasurably more.

Chapter 11 – The Passion Begotten by the Cross

In Chapter 11 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Passion Begotten by the Cross,” we are invited to see how the Cross awakens within the believer a deep love for Christ and a holy burden for others.

Jessie helps us understand that the Cross does not produce a cold or passive faith. When its meaning is truly revealed in us, it creates a Christlike passion — a willingness to live, love, suffer, serve, and pray for the sake of others. The life shaped by the Cross becomes a life poured out in union with the heart of Jesus.

May this episode stir within you a deeper love for Christ and a greater desire to live from His self-giving life — immeasurably more.

Who Told You That - Introduction Sep 23, 2026
    Show notes

    WHO TOLD YOU THAT?

We all believe things that simply aren’t true.

Things about who we are. What we need. What our circumstances mean. What our future holds. And even what we believe about God.

But somewhere along the way, we have to stop and ask: Who told you that?

In this new series, we’re taking some of the lies we’ve believed…sometimes without even realizing it and bringing them into the light of God’s Word. Because what we believe matters. Lies keep us stuck, fearful, and focused on ourselves and our circumstances. Truth points us back to Jesus.

This series isn’t about trying to think more positively. It’s about learning to recognize what isn’t true and replacing it with what God says is true.

Our prayer is that as we walk through this series together, we’ll know God more, trust Him more, and allow His truth to change the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and Him.

Hope for Today - In awe of God Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

What happens when we stop looking at God through the lens of our circumstances and begin looking at our circumstances through the lens of who God is?

In this Hope for Today, Jill shares a reminder of the greatness, power, holiness, and goodness of God and how standing in awe of Him changes the way we see everything else.

The more we know God, the more we can trust Him. And the more we recognize how great He is, the smaller our fears become and the more confidently we can place our lives in His hands.

Whatever you’re facing today, may this episode turn your eyes back to the One who holds all things together and remind you that He is able to do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine.

Chapter 10 – The Cross and Sickness

In Chapter 10 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Cross and Sickness,” we are invited to consider the relationship between Christ’s finished work and the weakness, suffering, and needs of our mortal bodies.

Jessie points us to the compassion and power of Christ, who entered fully into human suffering and bore our griefs and sorrows. This chapter reminds us that the Cross reaches into every part of our need — spirit, soul, and body — and that even in weakness, the life of Jesus can be manifested in us.

May this episode bring comfort, faith, and hope as you look to Christ in every place of need and receive His sustaining life — immeasurably more.

Chapter 9 – The Cross as a Severing Power

In Chapter 9 of All Things New by Jessie Penn-Lewis, titled “The Cross as a Severing Power,” we are invited to see how the Cross separates us from the old life and brings us more fully into life in Christ.

Jessie helps us understand that the Cross does not leave us bound to the patterns, desires, and powers of the old creation. Through Christ, we are severed from the rule of the flesh and called to walk in the freedom of the Spirit. The Cross continues its deep work in us, cutting away what belongs to the old life so that the life of Jesus may be revealed.

May this episode encourage you to yield more fully to the freeing work of the Cross and receive the life of Christ within you — immeasurably more.
