Danae Hays: The Courage to Be Yourself, Break Free From Shame, and Choose Your Life | Episode 259 Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

Five years. Hundreds of powerful conversations. And now, I'm bringing back the five episodes you have listened to and loved the most.

This week's rerelease is officially one of the Top 5 Episodes of All Time on The High Vibe Life Podcast, and it is one of the most vulnerable conversations I have ever shared.

You may know Danae Hays for making millions of people laugh online.

But this conversation reveals a side of her story you may not know.

Danae shares what it was like to recognize at a very young age that she was attracted to girls, the shame and anxiety she began carrying because of it, and how that anxiety eventually developed into severe OCD.

After finally revealing what she believed was her "deep dark secret" to a counselor, Danae was sent to conversion therapy at only ten years old.

For years afterward, she stopped talking openly about her sexuality.

But this story is ultimately about what happened when Danae began choosing herself.

In this conversation, we talk about:

    • Experiencing shame around your identity at a young age

    • Danae's childhood experience with anxiety and OCD

    • The lasting impact of being sent to conversion therapy

    • What happens when you spend years hiding part of yourself

    • Learning to respect and accept who you truly are

    • The role therapy played in Danae's healing

    • Finding love and the courage to live authentically

    • Choosing yourself even when people you love do not understand or support that choice

    • What parents can learn from Danae's experience

    • Why acceptance and unconditional love matter so deeply

This conversation was originally released in 2022, but its message is still incredibly important.

Because no one should have to spend their life believing that who they are is something they need to hide.

Whether you heard this conversation when it first aired or you are discovering Danae's story for the first time, I hope you listen with an open heart.

This is Episode 259 and another installment in our Top 5 Episodes of All Time Anniversary Series.

Listen for the first time or come back to this conversation with the perspective you have today.

Jesse Itzler: How to Live a Limitless Life: Redefining Success, Fear, and What Comes Next | Episode 258 Sep 21, 2026
    Show notes

Five years. Hundreds of powerful conversations. And now, I'm bringing back the five episodes you have listened to and loved the most.

This week's rerelease is officially one of the Top 5 Episodes of All Time on The High Vibe Life Podcast, and it features one of the most fascinating, driven, and unconventional people I have ever interviewed.

Jesse Itzler is an entrepreneur, author, former rapper, co-founder of Marquis Jet, founder of The 100 Mile Group, and an owner of the Atlanta Hawks.

But this conversation is about so much more than what Jesse has accomplished.

It is about how he thinks.

In this episode, Jesse and I talk about what it really takes to become successful, beginning with one of the most important questions we can ask ourselves:

What does success actually mean to me?

Because success at 25 may not look like success at 45, 55, or 75.

    The goals change.

    The priorities shift.

And at some point, we have to stop living according to someone else's definition of a successful life.

In this conversation, we talk about:

    • Why you must define success for yourself

    • How Jesse's definition of success has evolved over time

    • The difference between financial success and a truly fulfilling life

    • Why fear does not have to prevent you from taking action

    • How Jesse approaches entrepreneurship, risk, and uncertainty

    • Why difficult seasons and discomfort are part of meaningful growth

    • The importance of thinking beyond your next goal

    • How Jesse plans his life with his 90-year-old self in mind

    • Why your calendar may reveal more about your priorities than your intentions do

    • How to create a life filled with experiences, growth, relationships, and purpose

This conversation feels especially important in midlife.

This is the season when many of us begin questioning the definition of success we have been chasing.

This is Episode 258 another one in our Top 5 Episodes of All Time Anniversary Series.

Whether you heard this conversation when it first aired or you are discovering Jesse's mindset for the first time, listen now and ask yourself:

Am I building a successful résumé, or am I building a life I actually want to live?

Your Gut Is Your Second Brain: The Missing Link to Feeling Like Yourself Again with Autumn Calabrese | Episode 257 Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

Five years. Hundreds of powerful conversations. And now, I'm bringing back the five episodes you have listened to and loved the most.

This week's rerelease is officially one of the Top 5 Episodes of All Time on The High Vibe Life Podcast, and its message feels just as important today as it did when we first recorded it.

I'm sitting down with fitness and nutrition expert Autumn Calabrese for a conversation about the connection between our gut, brain, energy, mood, and overall well-being.

Autumn went from living paycheck to paycheck as a personal trainer to becoming one of the most recognized leaders in the fitness and nutrition space. But even with all her knowledge and experience, she found herself struggling with her own health and searching for answers.

That search led her back to her gut.

    In this conversation, we explore:

    • Why your gut is often called your "second brain"

    • The connection between gut health and how you feel physically and emotionally

    • Autumn's personal struggle with food sensitivities and digestive issues

    • Why feeling tired, bloated, uncomfortable, or simply "off" should not always be ignored

    • How food, stress, sleep, and movement may affect your gut health

    • Why health is about so much more than losing weight

    • How Autumn went from personal trainer to successful fitness and nutrition entrepreneur

    • The power of paying attention to what your body is trying to tell you

    • Why small, intentional changes can create meaningful results

This conversation is especially relevant for women in midlife because our bodies can begin responding differently to food, stress, sleep, and exercise.

What worked ten years ago may not feel good today.

That does not mean your body is failing you.

It may mean your body is asking you to listen more closely.

Whether you heard this episode when it originally aired or you are discovering it for the first time, I hope it encourages you to stop dismissing how you feel and start getting curious about what your body needs.

"I Won't Be a Statistic": How Emily Fauver Turned Trauma Into Purpose | Part 2 Sep 07, 2026
    Show notes

Five years. Hundreds of conversations. And now, I'm bringing back the Top 5 most-listened-to episodes in High Vibe Life history.

This week, we're returning to the second half of one of the most powerful and unforgettable stories I have ever shared.

In Part 1, Emily Fauver opened up about growing up surrounded by addiction, abandonment, foster care, abuse, and circumstances that could have determined the rest of her life.

    But Emily made a decision:

    "I won't be a statistic."

In Part 2, we continue the conversation and explore what happened after Emily decided her past would not define her future.

Emily shares how she began building a completely different life, became a successful content creator and influencer, and found the courage to share the good, the difficult, and the heartbreaking parts of her story with millions of people.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Moving forward after childhood trauma • Breaking generational cycles • Refusing to let your past become your identity • Building a life that looks different from where you started • How Emily grew her platform and became a successful influencer • Why she chooses to share the real and vulnerable parts of her life • Turning painful experiences into purpose • The responsibility that comes with sharing your story publicly • Creating hope for others through honesty and vulnerability

Emily's story is not powerful because everything became easy.

It is powerful because she refused to let what happened to her determine who she would become.

Whether you listened when this conversation first aired or you are discovering Emily's story for the first time, I hope you hear this reminder:

Your beginning is part of your story, but it does not get to decide your ending.

This is Episode 256 and the second installment in our Top 5 Episodes of All Time Anniversary Series.

Listen to Part 1 first, then come back and experience the rest of Emily's incredible story.

    "I Won't Be a Statistic": Emily Fauver on Breaking the Cycle | Part 1 Aug 31, 2026
    Show notes

Five years. Hundreds of conversations. And now, I'm bringing back the Top 5 most-listened-to episodes in High Vibe Life history.

We're starting with a story I have never forgotten from a dear friend.

Emily Fauver grew up surrounded by addiction, abandonment, foster care, abuse, and circumstances that could have written the rest of her story for her.

But somewhere along the way, she made a decision:

    "I won't be a statistic."

In Part 1 of our conversation, Emily opens up about the childhood experiences that shaped her, the cycles she was determined to break, and what it took to believe her future could look completely different from her past.

We talk about childhood trauma, generational patterns, resilience, identity, and the moment you realize where you came from does not have to determine where you're going.

Whether you heard Emily's story when it first aired or you're discovering it for the first time, there's a reason this became one of the most-listened-to episodes of all time.

This is Part 1. And trust me, you'll want to come back for Part 2.

Why Manifestation Isn't Working: The Missing Step Between Asking and Receiving with Kelsey Aida Aug 24, 2026
    Show notes

What if the reason manifestation isn't working has nothing to do with asking for the wrong thing? What if you're simply missing the step between asking and receiving?

In this week's episode, I sit down with manifestation expert, author, and speaker Kelsey Aida for a conversation that completely shifted the way I think about manifestation, resistance, aligned action, and creating the next version of your life.

So many of us know how to visualize.

    We journal.

    We meditate.

    We say the affirmations.

    We create the vision board.

But then we go right back into our day stressed, frustrated, forcing, overworking, and focusing on everything that isn't working.

    That's where we get stuck.

Kelsey explains that between ASKING and RECEIVING comes the piece so many of us miss:

    ALIGNMENT.

This conversation is especially powerful if you're in midlife and asking yourself:

What do I want this next chapter to look and feel like?

You don't have to force your way there.

You don't have to pretend everything is perfect.

And you definitely don't have to spend every second vibrating at some impossibly high frequency.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is identify what's creating resistance, get yourself back into alignment, and take the next inspired action.

Kelsey's new book, The Manifesting Fix, goes even deeper into identifying the resistance and blockages keeping us from the goals and dreams we desire.

Why Your Affirmations Aren't Working: The Mindset Shift That Changes Everything Aug 17, 2026
    Show notes

Have you ever looked in the mirror and said, "I am confident. I am abundant. I love my body," while a voice inside you immediately responded, "Yeah...no you don't"?

If affirmations have ever made you feel like a fraud instead of making you feel empowered, this episode is for you.

I LOVE mindset work. I believe our thoughts shape our lives. But I've learned that repeating words your brain doesn't believe can actually create more internal resistance.

    The problem isn't affirmations.

It's the gap between what you're saying and what you actually believe.

In this episode, I'm breaking down how to close that gap and use affirmations in a way your brain can actually get behind.

    We're talking about:

    • Why traditional affirmations sometimes leave us feeling worse instead of better • The connection between identity, behavior, and the results we're creating • How to use "bridge affirmations" like "I'm becoming," "I'm learning," and "more and more" • Why confidence comes from evidence, not simply repeating words • How keeping small promises to yourself changes your identity • Why affirmations without action create frustration • How to use your past wins as evidence of who you already are • The question you can ask TODAY to start becoming the woman you want to be

This is especially powerful in midlife because so many of us are deciding who we want to be in this next chapter.

    We're not starting over.

    We're becoming.

And you don't need to convince yourself that you're someone you're not. You need to start creating evidence for the woman you know you're here to become.

Your life doesn't change because you repeated the perfect words.

It changes one aligned action at a time.

Listen now, and send this episode to the friend who has a bathroom mirror covered in sticky notes. 😉

Heidi Powell on Midlife Reinvention: "I Never Want to Go Back" Aug 10, 2026
    Show notes

What if the goal of midlife isn't to get back to who you were—but to become someone you love even more?

This week, I sit down with Heidi Powell for a raw, powerful conversation about reinvention, grief, perimenopause, body image, motherhood, and what it really takes to transform from the inside out.

Heidi opens up about why she no longer wants to "go back" to a younger version of herself—and why she's more grounded, compassionate, authentic, and at peace today.

    We talk about:

    • Why keeping promises to yourself changes your confidence

    • What perimenopause teaches us about our bodies

    • Breaking free from comparison and chasing your younger self

    • Grief, healing, and becoming more fully YOU

    • Raising teenagers with honesty and unconditional love

    • Why your best years may actually be ahead of you

If you're in a season of change and wondering who you're becoming, this conversation is for you.

You don't need to go back.

    You get to become.
