Fun fact : Did you know that rock, paper and scissors originated in China? That too, in 206 B.C.

We play the game rock, paper, scissors so often, but we tend to miss out on 3 important messages that the game gives out and habits that we should inculcate. The first is the realization that everything has its own strengths and weaknesses. Second, is that you have to be dynamic. And the last, predicting what other people will do. Ashdin expands on all these points further, in this episode of #TheHabitCoach.

How to forgive yourself? Apr 20, 2022
    Show notes

    Episode #706

In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin is asked by Ravish - how to forgive yourself? How to not feel regret that and just move on? What Ravish is talking about here is GUILT. In situations where we've been wrong, guilt is the emotion that always drags you down.

Ashdin shares that the only way to get rid of guilt is with acceptance. In simple words, just accepting that this particular thing happened. You need to acknowledge that yes, indeed you made some mistakes, you took some bad decisions - and as soon as you do this, a large part of guilt is let go of.

How to make your life 10 x better? Apr 18, 2022
    Show notes

    Episode #704

Fun fact : Did you know, that using the letter 'X' in Maths and Algebra could be traced back to Baghdad in 820 A.D.

As we know, thoughts are also habits. We often think our life has a linear growth pattern, where we improve little by little as time goes forward. But what if you could grow much faster? What if you could change your linear growth to exponential growth, where the growth doesn't grow steadily, but instead it multiplies. And this begins by changing your thinking. So look at your life and ask yourself how can you make it 10 times better. When you ask yourself this question, your mindset changes and you start looking for opportunities that'll bring you exponential growth.

Should you breathe through your nose or mouth? Apr 15, 2022
    Show notes

    Episode #703

Fun fact : Did you know that our nose has erectile tissue? The same kind of tissue that exists in our genitals.

In our genitals, this tissue makes complete sense. But why do we have it in our noses? Studies say there is a direct connection between both. There are some case studies which saw nosebleed after using viagra. Did you also know, that breathing through our mouths is not healthy, yet we do it a lot, and that too subconsciously. Breathing, just like sleep, is one of the most important cures to many of our illnesses. It's natural, free and hence we give it no importance. Start by changing your breathing habit, and getting used to nose breathing.

Why do we keep choosing the wrong people every time? Apr 13, 2022
    Show notes

    Episode #701

In this episode of The Habit Coach, Ashdin is asked by Alka - why do we keep choosing the wrong people every time and if love difficult?

Ashdin points out two reasons for this - one is because we haven't evolved in the course of our last relationship and our new relationship, second is that often we don't learn from our past, and thus history keeps repeating itself.

Ashdin's solution to this asking ourselves what we need to do to change ourselves and attract the people we want in our lives. The other solution is to learn from our past and make sure history doesn't repeat itself.

    Let's put on our Explorer's hat Apr 11, 2022

    Episode #699

Fun fact : Did you know that Christopher Columbus was not the first European to sail to North America. A Norse explorer called Leif Ericson apparently sailed and discovered a sea route to America back in 1000 A.D.

While watching some Vikings shows, Ashdin realized that this sense of adventure and of the unknown which comes with exploring is missing in our lives today. People need proof and assurance before trying anything today. Ashdin researched and discovered that this style of thinking comes from science. In this episode of The Habit Coach podcast, let's learn a bit more about how we can don our explorer's hat.
