The Gestalt Gardener | Snapdragons Nov 13, 2020

Show notes

Snapdragons are seen this time of year just like all the colors that make fall a rainbow of reds, oranges, and brown. Felder reminds us that these beautiful colors are always there but the spring and summer chlorophyll dominates most of the year. With another round of southern gardening questions that criss cross the state, Felder talks about his weekly haul, and provides a cheery cheesy tune to keep things in perspective. Let's get dirty!

Felder will be the first to tell you he is just an okay gardener, but that is what makes him a great person to dish out garden advice. He will not make something up just to appease a caller. If he does not know the answer he will say so. Just take a listen to this shows last caller! And with days before the election Felder champions the potential state flag on the ballot. The Gestalt Gardener | Hospitable Blossoms Oct 23, 2020

Felder really is a "live and let live" type of guy. So much so, his garden is a certified wildlife habitat. Felder knows the important roles that the crawly, slimly, and sometime stingy bugs play in our everyday life. And why should he get in the way of them doing their job? Today he talks about some of these bugs around his home, a plant know as "campers friend", and answers a variety of southern gardening questions. Let's get dirty!

The Gestalt Gardener | Felder To The Max Oct 02, 2020

Show notes

On this edition of the Gestalt Gardener, Felder is broadcasting from the Queen City aka Meridian, Mississippi. Before giving a talk about yard art at the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience, Felder sat in a socially distant studio and answered your southern gardening questions. There was a tiny audience there to witness this week's garden party and I think it's safe to say Felder made a few new friends.

The Gestalt Gardener | Just A Little Paint Sep 11, 2020

Show notes

Felder is a guy known for doing things his own way. Even if that means spray painting a yellow flower purple, because if adds character. But as a beloved gardening expert he should be afforded such leeway. Why? Because he knows what he is doing.

During this episode full of southern gardening questions Felder helps out a middle school student with her black eyed peas, explores the different basil plants in his garden, and remembers that talk like a pirate day is coming up next week. Let's get dirty!
