The Gestalt Gardener is a long-time favorite on MPB Think Radio, due in no small part to Felder’s laid-back, your-neighbors-might-talk-but-so-what approach to gardening.

After a week of being iced in place, Felder was really happy to walk into the studio for today's garden party. He was ready for this week's round of southern gardening questions because his answers were already prepared. Bouglification was a big topic on today's show as many gardens could not handle the sudden drop in temperature last week. Mississippi is scheduled for a deep freeze and some of your plants will not make it. As Felder says throughout the show, that is just a part of gardening. When Mississippi gets snow it is viewed as a treat. But often, only a quick one. Schools and offices are closed for the day. Scenic snowy snapshots are everywhere you turn. Yet and still the snow is gone by the next day or the next full sun. This year Felder was able to get a few snapshots of his snow garden and starts this garden party reminiscing about our short-lived winter wonderland.
