    Show notes

Jay Kali, AKA The Strength Architect, doesn’t just build better bodies; he helps build strong, motivated and empowered women. As the founder and driving force behind not one, but two fitness centers in Cancun, Mexico, Jay worked closely with over 2,200 students in less than 2 years. Now he’s taken the information he gleaned and using it to revolutionize not only his approach to fitness training, but gym culture in its entirety. Launching into the technological era, Jay exported his expertise to the cloud. He has spent the last three years honing and growing his online coaching system. As a coach and fitness specialist for over five years, Jay has heard every excuse in the book: clients are too busy, too tired, or just too demoralized to achieve their dream body. At Kali Coaching, he’s finally found a way to put power back in his client's’ hands. Through training sessions, motivational talks, and regular check-ins, he’s found a way to work outside the confines of time and space. Jay’s innovative online approach is based on the radical notion that we are all different. Knowing there’s no “one-size-fits-all” answer to fitness, Jay meets each client where they’re at, providing highly personalized training solutions to help each woman meet her individual goals. As a graduate of the Online Trainer Academy, a Certified Fitness Trainer, a Specialist in Strength and Conditioning, and a Power Yoga Trainer holding his certification in Training for Warriors, it’s obvious that Jay has the know-how to get the job done. But his heart is the true driving force behind his business. He is motivated by a genuine desire to help others take charge of their lives, becoming physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger. He strives to lead by example, demonstrating that when we tap into our own potential, there is nothing we cannot achieve! www.kalicoaching.com www.fb.com/coachkali www.fb.com/thekalicoaching www.twitter.com/kalicoaching www.instagram.com/kalicoaching Books mentioned: The Happiness Advantage You Too Can Be Prosperous Mind Game The Obstacle Is The Way The Magic Of Thinking Big Boundaries

#15: The 1 Reason You're Weight Loss Is Stalling - Vanessa Spina (Ketogenic Girl) Sep 14, 2018
    Show notes

In this episode, It’s my pleasure to interview Vanessa Spina Vanessa is the author of her current Best Selling Keto Essentials and is an avid and passionate international speaker about the ketogenic diet and the founder of Ketogenic Girl. When she started what she thought was proper Keto she began to strangely gain weight. She started first on her own and then was following ketogenic meal plans from a source she trusted so gaining weight was the last thing she expected to happen. She knew something was off- clothes were somehow all shrinking... simultaneously. I was doing what I thought was a good Keto diet so I didn't ever expect to gain 20 lbs. Since then, she has refined the process of the ketogenic diet, how it works not only for her but also for the people who join the 28-day ketogenic girl challenge. In this interview, we talk about how she transitioned from finance in the world of health and nutrition, how much work it takes to create a cookbook (including 12 iterations of a particular recipe), how a certain food group may be the reason why your weight loss is stalling, and the things she has learned since 2004 about the ketogenic diet. This episode was so easy, because Vanessa also has her own podcast called Fast Keto, but make sure you stick around to the end where she gives you some really handy tips on how to make sure your ketogenic journey is sustainable.
