Best of Kevin & Query - Friday 10/14 - Interviews about the Colts with Joe Reitz, Greg Rakestraw, and Matt Taylor Oct 14, 2022
    Show notes

(00:00 - 15:02)- Joe Reitz joins the show to talk Colts vs. Jaguars this week. Kevin opens up with a story about
Joe Reitz excellent golf skills. Joe gives an in-depth analysis on why this Colts Offensive line is struggling
this season. Reitz stresses that the loss of Jack Doyle is a big deal for the team this year. He thinks that the
line playing together for 6 weeks now their communications skills should be strong enough to take on this Jaguars
team at home. Reitz is excited about the remaining schedule and the Colts ability to potentially finish the season
strong with their playoff hopes intact. He does however stress the urgency that this game creates and how a win
    on Sunday is mandatory.

(15:03 - 29:27) - Greg Rakestraw then calls in to talk football of all forms with Marc and Kevin. They start with
the Colts and discuss who will be returning from injury for this Sunday's game. Marc inquires about what has
been the Colts biggest struggle this season and Rakestraw believes that it has just been an all around slow
start for the team. Some more offensive line talk about Dennis Kelly's lack of playing time this season. Rakestraw
then covers the final week of the regular season for High-School football across the state of Indiana. Tonight he
has the matchup between Carmel and Lawrence Central. Finishing up with Football, Rakestraw calls it crazy to believe
that Purdue could possibly win the Big 10 West Division this year.

(29:28 - 52:32) - Radio play-by-play voice of the Colts Matt Taylor joined the program and talked about his anticipation
of this high-value matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday. Taylor and Kevin take a brief detour to talk about the past
two weeks of Thursday Night Football and the lack of excitement in those games. Taylor believes that Matt Ryan starting
the game hot and seeting the tone early will be a big key to victory this weekend. Marc and Taylor wonder if the Colts
will ever have an offensive line together that can protect Matt Ryan. Kevin proposes the Colts switch mindset to being
a "pass-to-run" offense. Taylor give his take on the question posed to Rakestraw earlier, how important is the next
two weeks to the rest of the Colts season?

Kevin & Query - Friday 10/14 - Can the Colts actually win a division game? Pacers Pre-Season. Thursday Night Football was boring...again. Oct 14, 2022
    Show notes

(00:00 - 22:14) - Marc Dykton is in for Jake Query on this Friday morning show. Query is currently on his
way to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The show opens recapping yet another less-than-exciting Thursday Night
Football game between the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders. Colts players returning from injury
and what chances they have against the Jaguars at home. Jacksonville has not won an away divisional game since 2017
which SHOULD favor the Colts this Sunday. Quick shift to the Indiana Pacers and Bennedict Mathurin's pre-season
    performance.

    (22:15 - 25:45) - Morning Checkdown

(25:46 - 41:38) - Joe Reitz joins the show to talk Colts vs.

(41:39 - 1:09:41) - Greg Rakestraw then calls in to talk football of all forms with Marc and Kevin.

(1:09:42 - 1:24:01) - Talk returns to Thursday Night Football and the Bears disappointing loss to the Commanders. Kevin
talks about how Wentz looked like he might fall appart. Despite Carson Wentz's terrible game he had Ron Rivera
passionately stand up for him in the post game press conference. Rivera dropped some strong language in an interview
before storming off. Marc and Kevin go over how the Colts were lucky to get rid of Wentz when and how they did. They
wonder if Rivera was truly angry at management or if his anger is more directed towards how this season has played out.

(1:24:02 - 1:28:27) - The second hour ends wrapping up the Carson Wentz conversation. A preview of Matt Taylor and the Colts
talk to come at the top of the third hour.

(1:28:28 - 1:58:02) - Radio play-by-play voice of the Colts Matt Taylor joined the program and talked about his anticipation
of this high-value matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday. Taylor and Kevin take a brief detour to talk about the past
two weeks of Thursday Night Football and the lack of excitement in those games. Taylor believes that Matt Ryan starting
the game hot and seeting the tone early will be a big key to victory this weekend. Marc and Taylor wonder if the Colts

two weeks to the rest of the Colts season?

    (1:58:03 - 2:07:34) - Pop Quiz

(2:07:35 - 2:15:21) - Kevin, Marc, and fill-in producer Sam give their picks for the weekend. Kevin need a little Fantasy
Football help with a quarterback on a bye week.
