In the trailer for part 2 of The Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion, Bravo made it seem like Shannon Beador said she won a facelift lawsuit against John Janssen. I pull up the lawsuit and break down that it is still ongoing and in the settlement conference phase, but no conclusion has been made. When watching the episode, it is later revealed that Shannon was saying that she won a defamation lawsuit against John Bellino.

Kouri Richins is also back in court. She has been denied bail again, but she has won a motion to sever the murder charges from the financial charges.

Judge King usually live streams his court proceedings. It has been uncovered that he sometimes has the YouTube chat open and will post comments to the live chat. Judge King also has a Civil case against him for doing a "Scared Straight" version on a 15-year-old girl that was at the court for a field trip. The student had a hard time staying awake at court and the judge found that disrespectful to him and proceeded to do a mock trial to her based on her behavior.

The Laken Riley Murder trial has begun and many people have questions about where the jury is. This is a Bench Trial where the judge is the finder of fact. I breakdown why that is the case and the facts of the case without the graphic details.

Karen Read Motions Hearing Summary Nov 14, 2024

Judge Cannon reviewed many motions for Karen Read's upcoming second trial. She took all of them over advisement and we should be hearing her ruling in a week or so.

The attorneys went over oral arguments for releasing the side bar transcript of the previous trial, discovery motions and request for continuance of the trial to April 1st 2025.

What did Diddy do now? His attorneys are asking for bail again while holding his appeal on pause for when it doesn’t work. Diddy’s lawyers continue to go after the prosecution's case while arguing that the Government's case against Diddy isn’t strong.

Kouri Richins, the Utah mom accused of poisoning her husband with a laced Moscow mule, asked the court to reconsider her bail and was denied after a hearing on November 12th, 2024. The Commonwealth prosecutors would like to remind everyone that when you give media interviews, they may be used against you.

The new special prosecutor has brought a renewed motion seeking interview audio and notes from Gretchen Voss who interviewed Karen Read on multiple dates for Boston Magazine. They are hoping to use her ‘confessions’ to facts about the case in that interview, and likely others, in her second trial. Karen Read and her lawyers will be back in court November 13th, 2024 on a motions hearing. Will the court agree to continue the trial until April?

The YSL RICO prosecution in Georgia started with jury selection in January 2023. On October 31st, 2024, the case came to a shocking end for the lead defendant, Jeffery Williams, AKA Young Thug. Young Thug’s attorney, Brian Steel, made it clear he wasn’t happy with his clients' choice to plea open to the court without a plea deal secured after negotiations with prosecutors broke down. It became apparent in the hearing that Young Thug wanted to get out of custody and was willing to sign up for an extensive probationary period to accomplish an immediate release from custody.

Plus, last week, we learned that the Grand Jury investigating Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is ongoing and hearing from witnesses. Diddy’s lawyers are pissed that one of those recent grand jury witnesses is speaking to the media and is allegedly ‘shopping’ a video of Diddy before that testimony. The court asked for an immediate response from the defense, and we may soon see a hearing on a Gag Order in the federal prosecution.

The Grand jury for the Sean Diddy Combs criminal prosecution is continuing to deliberate. One of the Juror’s attorney told the media that they witnessed a video of Diddy victimizing celebrities.

In one of the Buzbee civil cases, a judge ordered that Jane Doe's name be released or the case will be dismissed. I will go more in depth on Wednesday's 'The Emily Show'.

Jeffery Williams, AKA Young Thug, was released from court on Halloween 2024. He pleaded open to the court and the judge gave him 40 years with 5 served in custody, 15 years of probation, then backloaded 20 years if there is a probation violation. I will also go into more detail on this decision on Wednesday.

Logan Paul & KSI have been sued by Lionel Messi because they accused Mas + of copying Prime drink’s aesthetic. Messi would like the court to make a decision if they infringe on the trademark and trade dress.

The prosecutor in the Menedez Brothers case recommended resentencing. I explain why, if the judge agrees on December 11th, 2024, they will not be let out right away.

Sarah Boone was convicted of Second Degree Murder after just an hour and half of jury deliberation. I will cover the sentencing on December 2nd, 2024.

Shasta County and its sheriff’s office, agreed to settle the improper seizure of a then 9-year-old girl’s goat called Cedar for $300,000 while Mark Longo’s pets - Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Racoon - were seized and euthanized by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation. It’s such a sad story and I will update you if a lawsuit is filed.
