The prosecution plans to present evidence suggesting Brian Walshe knew about his wife's extramarital affair prior to her disappearance, and that a private investigator was hired to look into her infidelity. There's interest in Brian Walshe's prior federal art fraud case and its potential connection to money laundering, and whether it was a "tipping point" in the current case. While the trial is expected to be delayed for several months, it is anticipated that Brian Walshe will eventually be found competent to stand trial, as the bar for competency is "incredibly low." Robert Crozier initially stated he sold fentanyl but later recanted, claiming he sold Oxycodone and was detoxing during his first interview.Forensic analysis of Kouri Richins's phone revealed deleted messages and suspicious internet searches after Eric's death, including queries about deleted data recovery, prison facilities, and lethal doses of fentanyl. Join us as we dive into the dramatic second part of the Cardi B trial, where unexpected twists and courtroom confrontations take center stage. The other two eye witnesses took the stand. Tierra Malcolm, the front desk receptionist at the doctor's office, provides a detailed account of the altercation, including being caught between Cardi B and Emani Ellis. Tierra describes being scratched on her forehead during the chaotic encounter. Though she can only assume it was Emani who scratched her because Cardi B was behind her the entire time.

Dr. David Finke, Cardi B's OBGYN that day, was allowed to testify. He recounts demanding Emani Ellis multiple times but she would not follow his orders until a long time. This was the only time something like this happened in his practice. The jury reaches a unanimous "no liability" verdict in favor of Cardi B on all counts, including assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence.

In this episode, I go over various cases to break down the facts of the cases we’ve been following. The court has ruled on the motion to dismiss in the civil wrongful death suit brought by John O'Keefe's family members against Karen Read. A federal grand juror who leaked confidential information from the Karen Read investigations has been sentenced. Sean Diddy Combs was sentenced to federal prison, where he received just over four years (50 months). D4vd hired a criminal defense lawyer as law enforcement has not made any arrests. The death has not yet been ruled a homicide as the manner of death has yet been determined by the medical examiner and crime(s) have not been set.

We delve into the case of the very chatty Karen Read grand juror, who was indicted for leaking confidential grand jury information and pleaded guilty on August 4th, 2025. We discuss the initial media reports, the details of the indictment, and the common practice of grand jurors serving on multiple cases.

Find out how the leak became public, leading to serious consequences, including the loss of the leaker's job at the Department of Children and Families, a position she had worked years to achieve. The defendant communicated with a former friend, to whom she disclosed grand jury information, believing it would remain private. The government's perspective, highlighting that the defendant divulged information across several months, including witness identities, testimony topics, and even a sealed indictment before arrests were made!

The joint recommendation for a sentence of incarceration for one day (deemed served) and 24 months of supervised release, aimed at deterring similar offenses in the future.

On September 22, 2025, a Hearing for the Wrongful Death Civil Case brought by The estate of John O'Keefe, Paul O'Keefe (individually and as representative of the estate), John O'Keefe II (father), Margaret O'Keefe (mother), and Margaret O'Keefe (as grandparent and guardian of Kaye) are suing Karen Reed, CF McCarthy's, and Waterfall.

During the hearing, Karen Read attorneys announced that she is suing Brian Albert, Nicole Albert, Matthew McCabe, Jennifer McCabe, and Brian Higgins. Her attorneys also intend to bring claims against the Massachusetts State Police, Lieutenant Brian Tully, Sergeant Yuri Bukhenik, Michael Proctor, and the town of Canton Police Department for alleged civil rights violations, conspiracy, and negligent training/supervision.

The court anticipates discovery closing in December 2026, with a trial realistically expected in 2027, possibly 2028, especially if additional parties are added. The court strongly urged parties to explore resolutions outside of trial, emphasizing the arduous and expensive nature of civil litigation. The next in-person hearing is scheduled for November 21, 2025.
