Welcome to The Daily Still Podcast – A Place to Pause. Here, we create space to listen for the whispers of God. Certified Spiritual Director Cindy L. Helton leads us through guided meditations, offering room to “be still” in the midst of the busyness and distractions of life. These meditations and contemplative practices are designed to help you pay attention to the movement of God in your daily life, and notice the Gift of Divine Presence with you always. "Their eyes were opened and they recognized Jesus." - Luke 24:31 What if you could put on spiritual lenses for a clearer view of God? What if the lens for seeing God more clearly is being still? In stillness, our eyes are opened to the Holy all around us. In the quiet, we become aware of being seen and known. God is with you in the ordinary, every day moments of life. Allow your spiritual vision to come into 20/20 focus!

Enter the stable in a holy hush and listen to the baby softly breathing…

Draw near to the wonder.

Draw near to the miracle.

Draw near in reverent awe.

Settle in to this holy space…

Breathe in deeply of the Gift of Grace.

Draw near to God as He draws near to you.

Prepare room in your heart for the Holy One.

Day 40 - More (40 Days of Stillness) Aug 16, 2019

Join us in this final meditation in our 40 days of stillness series as we focus on God's MORE for our lives.

We often find ourselves living out of the place of busyness and distraction. The need for a phone in hand has become the norm. Relaxation is perceived as scrolling our devices for more information.

When did we become so afraid of the quiet?

True reflection… invites us to step into moments of quiet, with our hearts fully alive and expectant, for what might happen in God's holy Presence.

Ephesians 3:19 Prayer - "May you grasp the fullness of God's love for you."
