6 Core Human Needs by Tony Robbins Aug 10, 2020
    Show notes

Why do we do what we do? ...The 6 Core Human Needs from Tony Robbins Have you ever wondered why we do the things we do? Of course our thoughts and emotions shape our behaviors and results in life, but what truly influences our conscious and unconscious thoughts on a day to day basis? I’ve put a lot of thought into this and we have discussed many different influencing factors that contribute to our lives, and we have even talked about ways to influence and change our behaviors and results. But today I’d like to talk to you about identifying what is truly affecting your life on a deeper level. 6 Core Human Needs by Tony Robbins Abraham Maslow was an American psychologist who studied and documented human needs and behavior. He developed a well know theory of basic human behavior called Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. The most basic of needs (which influence our behavior) are food, shelter, safety, etc. Then there are higher levels of needs like love, self-esteem, and personal growth in order to truly achieve “self actualization” and happiness in life. These are the main influencing factors in our behavior; as a result, they are the influencing factors in the results we achieve in life. Tony Robbins further developed this concept into what he calls the 6 core human needs. He has become well know for this training because it has literally impacted thousands of people (throughout the world) during his career. He believes that all humans have the same 6 core needs and that if they are fulfilling these 6 needs they will experience the most happiness. If not, they will feel dissatisfied with their life and also feel unfulfilled at times. He added that most of us will prioritize a couple of these needs and (as a result) those needs will drive most of our conscious and unconscious thoughts and actions. So you can see that if these needs are driving our behaviors and actions, then they will ultimately determine our results, our happiness, and even our levels of fulfillment. Many people choose to meet their 6 core needs in a positive way, but it is also possible (and common) that people can meet these needs in a negative (destructive) way that leads them to problems and struggles in their lives. Meeting our needs in a negative way never brings long term happiness and ultimately can cause serious pain, frustration, and even depression. Are you aware of the Core Needs you prioritize in your life? Are they being met in a positive or a negative way? I’d like to outline the 6 core needs so that you might become more aware of which ones you are prioritizing and which ones you need to continue to focus on fulfilling at a higher level. Also, I feel it's important to truly understand if you are currently filling your needs in a positive or negative way. This will help you to understand what drives your thoughts, behaviors and actions that are creating your life. So, let’s start to go through these needs and feel free to take some notes and really dig into what you feel are your Main Influencing Factors in your Success or Lack of Success in your life right now. No it’s interesting to note that the first four needs are ones that fulfill the needs of our Personality, and the last two needs are ones that fulfill the needs of our spirit. True fulfillment comes from the last two needs, so really pay attention to those as we go through them. Here are the 6 core needs: Needs of the Personality 1-Certainty- the need for safety, stability, security, comfort, order, predictability, control, and consistency…Avoid Pain… Obviously, we do our best to avoid pain in our lives by creating certainty. However, a problem can arise for many of us when we create unrealistic expectations of what it take for certainty. This can cause stress because we never seem to meet our needs for certainty. This is when you need to start discovering what limiting beliefs and programming that you carry inside that is affecting your expectations and needs. On the other hand, if we have too much Certainty we get bored, so this is why we need the second need. 2-Variety (uncertainty)- the need for variety, surprise, challenges, excitement, difference, chaos, adventure, change, and novelty. My partner and mentor Robert Stuberg would say that your true success as an Entrepreneur (and happiness in life) in in direct proportion to the amount of Uncertainty that you can handle in your life. I believe this is because we already know that success, growth and “uncertainty” lies outside your comfort zone. It is also interesting to note that these first two core needs work as a paradox and continually try to balance each other. Certainty vs Uncertainty. Which leads us to the 3rd Core Human Need. 3-Significance- the need to have meaning, special, pride, needed, wanted, sense of importance and worthy of love…we want to feel special. I read a very impactful quote from Adam Sincinski that I think explains the need for significance really well… "You can feel more significant by achieving something, by building something, by learning something or even by tearing other people down. They are all legitimate ways to fulfill the need for significance. The need for significance can help you achieve more, do more, and become the person you desire to be. All professional athletes would probably admit that the need for significance is a big part of their careers. In fact, it’s probably one of the most important influential factors that go into every decision they make. On the other hand, the need for significance can be used for evil purposes. For instance, it can be used to hurt people or gain an unfair advantage. Take for example a bully. A bully bullies other people to feel important, significant, and worthy. Therefore the need for significance can actually lead to violence." - An In-Depth Exploration Of The Six Human Needs Shaping Your Life, Adam Sicinski Tony Robbins talks about how VIOLENCE can also fulfill the need people have for significance in a destructive way. Understanding the need for significance is very important so that we can better understand how to deal with this need in a positive and productive way in society and in our personal lives. 4-Love & Connection- the need for communication, approval and attachment, connection with, loved and intimate with another person. Ultimately we are all searching for connection. Love is one of the most powerful emotions and can bring with it both “true happiness” as well as our “deepest fear” due to rejection, loneliness and regret. The key is to understand that love can be influenced by our beliefs in a big way. Low self-worth, past relationship failures and good or bad business experiences can all affect our ways of fulfilling this need for love and connection. A great example of this is why many of us settle for “Connection” rather than “Deep Commitment and Relationships” with others. We dont want to get hurt in a relationship but we still need to fill our need for Love and Connection. The problem with his is that we never truly fill this need long term by only satisfying it at a surface level. The same can be said in business if we are untrusting or unwilling to risk moving forward with our goals due to past failures. Needs of the Spirit 5-Growth- the need for constant emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. You’ve hard the saying, “if you are not growing, you are dying”. This comes from the fact that we all have a need to Grow. The best way to do this is through personal development. Without personal growth, you can feel “stuck in life”. The negative side of Growth is that many of us apply filters of perfectionism so we don’t recognize that we are growing because we are either 1)comparing ourselves to everyone else or 2) we set the bar so high we will never meet this need. The KEY is to always play the game of life against the past version of yourself and not others. And, to always remember that you need to look forward and not back when you are growing. 6-Contribution- the need to give beyond ourselves, give, care, protect and serve others. Another great saying is, “The Secret to Living is Giving”. The meet will ultimately only get filled when you feel you are impacting and contributing to those around you: in community, in your family, in your relationships, in your business. I really like what my partner Robert Stuberg says when he talks about his life mission and use of Unique Talents. The key to life is identifying your Unique Talent (excellent and passion about) and applying it in the service to others. This is an Amazing way to Create Success while living a Happy and Fulfilled live, but it also satisfies this need at an extremely high level. So...How are you meeting your 6 Core Human Needs? We strive daily to meet these needs, but remember that our needs can ultimately be met in both constructive and destructive ways…positive and negative ways that will influence and affect our lives. I believe that most all stress, anxiety, depression, and dysfunctional behavior comes from not filling these needs or filing these needs in a negative way. The key is to understand yourself and your limiting beliefs that are affecting these core needs. Find out how your inner beliefs are creating the filter you use to fill these needs on a daily basis. In other words, how are your daily routines being influenced in a positive or negative way because of the programming you’ve adopted throughout your life. So, I Encourage You to Ask Yourself these Key Questions: -What are my Top Core Needs? -How am I filling those needs now? (positive or negative) -What are the beliefs that are driving my needs? -Are these beliefs serving me and my life’s mission? -How are these needs impacting my relationships, business and communication? -How can I redefine the parameters needed to meet these needs. Let me give you an example of how Tony Robbins talks about using these 6 core human needs to redefine or increase the quality of your relationships… Tony Robins says “If you’re in a relationship with somebody and you meet one of their needs, you’re going to have an acquaintance. If you meet two of their needs, you’re going to have a friend. If you meet three of their needs, you’re going to have a deep friendship or love. If you meet four of their needs, it’s going to be a deep love. If you meet five or six of their needs, you’re going to have a love slave. … They ain’t going anywhere. But it’s got to be you meeting their needs, not the other way around.” - Tony Robbins On How To Master Relationships, J.D. Meier You get the point. Ultimately, you can seriously impact the quality of “your life” and "others lives" if you will be INTENTIONAL with how you meet the 6 Core Human Needs of Yourself and Others. I know that if you will take the time to “unpack” what is driving your life, then you will be far more effective in creating change, and you will completely transform your life and business. But its gonna take a little work. You must be willing to sit down and go through the motions to understand, identify, redefine and execute on your Core Needs in your life. If you do this…I promise you will see massive changes in your life. I appreciate you listening today. I hope you’ve found some value in this information. If you have, I encourage you to share this podcast episode with at least one person in your life. Have an amazing day. George Wright III

Focus on Net Worth not Income (4 of 4) Aug 07, 2020
    Show notes

Today I want to finish up our series of Harv Ekers 17 Wealth Files from the Secrets of the Millionaire Mind NYT Best Seller. I’ll start again (in case you didn't listen to the first 3 in this series) reminding you that we are talking about changing the way you think about things in your life in order to create a new, more abundant, mindset to lead you to success…in every area of your life. Yes, we are talking in extremes…rich/poor…no, we are not judging rich vs poor…we are simply contrasting things that help you create more success, happiness and wealth into your life. And just to clear it up for you right now, I 100% believe that you are better off with more money and success in your life. Money is not good or bad. Your relationship and view of money can be good or bad, but money itself is a good thing, and you can do much more good with than without it…believe that. So, let's review how Rich and Successful people think and act and we can dig into the last 6 Wealth Files here today. Review from last 3 episodes: Wealth File #1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.” Wealth File #2 Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose. Wealth File #3 Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich. Wealth File #4 Rich people think big. Poor people think small. Wealth File #5 Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles. Wealth File #6 Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people. Wealth File #7 Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people. Wealth File #8 Rich people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion. Wealth File #9 Rich people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems. Wealth File #10 Rich people are excellent receivers. Poor people are poor receivers. Wealth File #11 Rich people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time. This brings us to the final 6 Wealth Files to cover... Wealth File #12 Rich people think “both.” Poor people think “either/or.” I believe this principle is all about Abundant thinking… Do you believe there is abundance in the universe? Are you willing to choose to believe there is abundance? The reason this is so important is that “abundant thinkers” have opened the world of possibilities and believe that there is a win win available in each situation. They been with solutions rather than focus on the problem. Therefore they have more opportunity to create solutions, win at the game of life and their filter on life allows this. If you are acting out of scarcity mindset, you believe that for every winner there is a loser. You believe that there are limited time, resources and opportunities in life. This is why you might resent others success. This is why you may blame others for failure and even blame your life, business, and relationships on being a victim of circumstance. Ultimately, if you will choose to have an abundant mindset, I know that you will create much more success in your life. You absolutely can have your cake and eat it too. :) Wealth File #13 Rich people focus on their net worth. Poor people focus on their working income. This distinction has been wired into us from birth. What do you want to do rather than what do you want your life to be like. What do you make for a living rather than what is your net worth. We talk about budgets and expenses, but we don’t talk about, track or grow the other “key areas” of true success and net worth. These other areas, as Harv puts it, are things like Income, Savings, Investments, Simplification…and I would add active and passive income streams. I would highly encourage you to always be increasing your active income (raising ceiling) while actively growing your passive income through business, investments and residuals. No you might be saying, “George, I don’t have those other areas and don't know where to start with investing or expanding my business from a “job” to a “passive” income stream.” Well, it doesn’t matter whether you are currently pursuing a course of action or don’t know where to start…the bottom line is “where focus goes, energy flows”. I didn’t have these either until I prioritized finding the right ones and learning, growing, networking, and developing them. That’s why i surround myself with successful people. That is why you are listening to this podcast. The point I am trying to make is that you need to prioritize, focus and spend time on your NET WORTH and you will see it grown. This leads perfectly into the next wealth file. Wealth File #14 Rich people manage their money well. Poor people mismanage their money well. If you don’t learn to manage your money well, then your money will always run your life. Period. Obviously, this means you need to learn to properly budget your money…even if it seems like an overwhelming, boring or tedious task. And, you need to learn to be “frugal” with your money. I know most people view frugality in a bad way, but I’m saying you need to learn the difference between things that are expenses vs investments. You need to start “really and sincerely” thinking about if you NEED that new car, watch, lifestyle or you just WANT IT. When you start to plan an amazing life and start to follow that plan through a filter of frugality, you can create peace of mind, happiness, and amazing levels of success. This is because we stop “wasting money” to impress people that don’t really care about your lifestyle and wealth in the first place. A good friend of mine, Bill Danko…who wrote The NYT Best Selling Book The Millionaire Next Door, discussed and showed clearly that it doesn’t take a exorbitant amount of money to create true wealth. He later went on to write another best seller, called Richer Than a Millionaire, that adds the idea that you can have Wealth and Happiness (which is better than just having wealth). But, it takes a PLAN. It takes FRUGALITY. It takes DISCIPLINE. It takes the CONSCIOUS DECISION to Manage your Money WELL.’ In fact, Bill spoke at a recent High Net Worth Investor Conference we did and he taught me something I hadn’t heard before that leads right into the next wealth file. Wealth File #15 Rich people have their money work hard for them. Poor people work hard for their money. Bill talked about a gentleman named Franco Modigliani, who won the 1985 Noble Prize in Economics. He won the Noble Prize for his money life-cycle hypothesis. Basically, he said that through your working years and being Frugal…saving money is important so that you can build wealth…so that you can live comfortably in your non-working years when you are older. In other words: wen you are young, you WORK FOR MONEY…when you are old, MONEY WORKS FOR YOU. The problem is that NO ONE is saving money anymore. People spend money on dumb stuff that doesnt build wealth just to impress people that dont matter. Worse yet, they spend money on things to make themselves feel good only to later realize that these things only bring temporary satisfaction and not long term happiness. I know exactly how that feels and many of us can relate….can you? Thank you Bill for listening and reminding me of these important principles. Now, I know this is a long episode so hang in there with me while we approach the finish line cause this stuff is super important. Wealth File #16 Rich people act in spite of fear. Poor people let fear stop them. I have adopted and combined a few different mentor teachings on this topic because I feel its important. Prosperity Pillar # 3 is ACT IN SPITE OF MY MOOD. Let’s really discuss this for a second because this involves motivation, discipline and most importantly FEAR. Are you letting fear stop you or is it motivation, discipline or confidence. Identify WHY and WHAT holds you back. Without doing this you cannot overcome this mindset. But, I will highly recommend one particular solution for you to consider…. You will be the average of the 5 people you surround yourself with the most…Belief Transference, Confidence, Motivation, etc. Got it? Wealth File #17 Rich people constantly learn and grow. Poor people think they already know. This one is self explanatory, but let me give you some examples…go through the last couple months of this podcast…. I am constantly learning, growing and developing. It’s what drives me, creates fulfillment for me and impact. There is a reason for this…Its one of our 6 CORE HUMAN NEEDS, like Tony Robbins talks about. I am going to be covering the 6 Core Human Needs from Robbins next week so don’t miss it, but the key to understand here is that if you are not “growing” you are “dying”. If you are not learning (and think you know it all), you will NEVER BE RICH and SUCCESSFUL…at least not long term. 🙂 I hope you have learned a few things or recommitted yourself to a few areas in your life. I’d like to ask you a couple favors…. 1-sit down and review these wealth files and commit to implementing them in your life. 2-get a copy of Harv Ekers book and read it. If you cannot afford a copy then you really need to apply them but call me and I’ll get you one. 3-Please, Please subscribe to this podcast and share it with your friends. I don’t charge for my time and it takes a ton of time. I only ask that (if you have received any value) would you please share and get this message out past our thousands of current subscribers. Thank again for listening today. Have an Amazing Weekend. George Wright III

How You Do Anything is How you Do Everything (3 fo 4) Aug 06, 2020
    Show notes

Welcome back to our 3rd Day in a 5 part series on the 17 Wealth Files from Harv Eker. As I mentioned in previous episodes, I learned a great deal from Harv Eker and I really encourage you to get his book The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind. It really was a turning point for me when it comes to developing a mindset for success. I have always enjoyed and valued personal development, but Harv had a great way of attaching the Inner Game to the Outer Game which made a lot of sense for me. And, as entrepreneurs and investors, I hope it will do the same for you. So let’s go back and do a quick review of the first 5 Wealth Files we covered yesterday… Wealth File #1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.” Wealth File #2 Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose. Wealth File #3 Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich. Wealth File #4 Rich people think big. Poor people think small. Wealth File #5 Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles. This brings us to the next set of Wealth Files #6-11 that I want to talk a bit about today…. Wealth File #6 Rich people admire other rich and successful people. Poor people resent rich and successful people. If you view (rich, successful) people as bad and you want to be rich you will never be rich… Why do we resent the rich… -comparison economy -our relationship with money -our beliefs about what it takes (that maybe we dont posses) *ultimately we rationalize our lack of success… In what ways do you do this in your business, relationships or life? Wealth File #7 Rich people associate with positive, successful people. Poor people associate with negative or unsuccessful people. You are the average of the people you associate with… How do you currently surround yourself with? Why do we do this…. -belief transference -positive energy -mentoring examples I encourage you to take a good hard look at who you surround yourself with. Wealth File #8 Rich people are willing to promote themselves and their value. Poor people think negatively about selling and promotion. People have a real problem with sales and promotion for many reasons… -bad sales experience in the past leaving a negative feeling -bad selling experience in the past with bad outcome -how you were raised…don’t toot your own horn…don't show off… Bottom line is this…Leaders are promoters. Leaders promote themselves, their message, their purpose. Leaders create impact and make a difference. Wealth File #9 Rich people are bigger than their problems. Poor people are smaller than their problems. Harv Principle, “the secret to success is not to try to avoid or get rid of or shrink from your problems; the secret is to grow yourself o that you are bigger than any problem.” Otherwise, you are not “growing”…you are not becoming all you are capable of. I understand it is painful and difficult, but it is essential to your happiness, fulfillment, creating impact and yes…a successful life. What part of your life are you struggling with right now that you might be shrinking rather than growing in? How can you lean into this and grow bigger than your problem? Wealth File #10 Rich people are excellent receivers. Poor people are poor receivers. One of the biggest things holding you bad is that you are bad at receiving…compliments, money, help, support… There are many reasons you may not feel worthy. We are not going to get deep into that today, but you need to realize this…..listen closely… Self Worth is not needed for NET WORTH…Let me tell you why…Because your idea of whether your worthy or not is just a “story you tell yourself” in the first place…The meaning we give things is just that…a meaning we gave it…not the truth or the end result. You can choose to change how you perceive yourself. Harv says in his book, “if you say you are worthy, you are. If you say you’re not worthy, you’re not. Either way you will live into your story.” So decide to be worthy and decide to be a good receiver. In order to be a truly good giver you must be a good receiver…that in turn will develop your self worth and your success in life. Wealth File #11 Rich people choose to get paid based on results. Poor people choose to get paid based on time. I’m going to end with this last Wealth File by encouraging you to… NEVER PUT A CEILING ON YOUR INCOME…NEVER Harv has always promoting the value of a good active income/job/etc, but don’t let it interfere with your ability to create a higher net worth and increase yoru success. The real problem is that normally it does interfere. The best way to overcome the conflict and challenge is by owning your own business. A business (yes) can be like a job, but with the right business focus a business provides flexibility, massive tax reduction advantages and more importantly…it provides hope, freedom and opportunity a job will most likely not provide long term. Ultimate, find something that allows you to get paid for your worth, effort, and potential not just your time and you will become wealthy. I hope these particular Success Strategies will help you to really get in tune with your mindset and how you think about money…and every other area of your life. Thanks for listening today, and click that subscribe button so we can continue our journey together. Have an amazing day. George Wright III

You Can Make Excuses or Money but not Both (2 of 4) Aug 05, 2020
    Show notes

Today, lets discuss the first 5 Wealth Files from SOMM by T Harv Eker…Get the Book …by the way, you need to get the book and study it vigorously. Wealth File #1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.” Do you take responsibility for things that happen in your life or play the victim? Harv talks about Clues to if you are playing the victim… Not “you are a victim”…Playing “role of victim” -Blame…economy, business, relationships, people… -Justifying or Rationalizing situation…money not important, of course they can do it, etc… -Complaining…about everything…Instead practice gratitude You can make Money or Excuses…Not Both Wealth File #2 Rich people play the money game to win. Poor people play the money game to not lose. Are you playing Offense or Defense? Business Example of playing “no to lose” Harv…if you goal is to be comfortable, chances are you’ll never get rich. But if your goal si to be rich, chances are you’ll end up mighty comfortable. Wealth File #3 Rich people are committed to being rich. Poor people want to be rich. Truth is Most people have negative relationship with money (responsibility, fear of loss) Plus, not willing to do what it takes….”Act in spite of their mood” PP #3 Levels of commitment…I want, I choose, I commit…big but subtle differences. If you are not totally committed to being successful you Wont Be…but here is the challenge… Harv put it well when he said, "the number one reason most people don’t get what they want is that they don’t know what they want." Wealth File #4 Rich people think big. Poor people think small. Limiting beliefs hold you back…self confidence, self esteem, goals, vision Remember that money is a result. Focus on the Cause not the result Vision, Daily Rituals, Building Belief, and activities that increase your Confidence. This is what will help you think bigger…and most importantly, DREAM BUILD Wealth File #5 Rich people focus on opportunities. Poor people focus on obstacles. Remember when I said you can make Money or Make excuses but not both? Well, it is so important that you understand that the way you approach situations in your life is KEY. Do you see opportunities or do you see obstacles. Do you think through a filter of scarcity or abundance. Abundant thinkers see opportunities…learning, overcoming for strength, ways to improve Rich people focus and start from solutions not the problems. I hope these Wealth Files have inspired you to do a couple of things: 1-Change the way you Look at things… Wayne Dyer said, “when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change” 2-Be conscious of your thoughts and mindset…This is the key. You cannot create change until you are aware of what to change. You cannot create your best life when your thoughts are going in the wrong direction because this will create feelings, actions and results that do not match your Goals, Vision and I believe … True Potential… Thanks for listening today. Subscribe to our podcast and share this with a friend. George Wright III

    17 Wealth Files from T Harv Eker (1 of 4) Aug 04, 2020
    Show notes

Over the coming weeks I’m going to share a collection of lessons I’ve learned from some of my Top Personal Mentors over the last 20 years. These are people I have personally worked with and people I respect, admire and have helped to create lasting changes in my life. People like Robert Stuberg, Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Les Brown, Dean Graziosi, T Harv Eker, and many many more... Money is a Result…We need to stop chasing the RESULT and start focusing on what creates the result. …This is our thinking, our mindset, our actions and feelings. One of my mentors that taught me a lot about How to Think Like a Millionaire… …How to Think Success & Abundance. This has created a way of thinking that has benefitted my business and personal life. I highly recommend his book SOMM. In the second half of his book he takes you through a series of ways that you must shift your mindset in order to create a more “abundant” and “success minded” way of thinking in life. He covers 17 “Wealth Files” which are ways that Rich & Successful People Think and Act Differently than Poor or MC People. Now I wanna take a second and explain something… Harv makes a very concerted effort to clarify a few things and I want to do the same.

    1. These principles are not about casting judgement on rich or poor.
    2. When we talk about rich and poor we are talking about their mentality.
    3. Yes, we are generalizing in these principles so you will “get the point”.
    4. We are using extremes for a reason…rich vs poor…to clarify the mindset.
    5. Some of these principles are related to habits and actions, but remember that actions come from feelings/thoughts.
    6. FINALLY, let go of being “right”. Your way of thinking has gotten you where you are today…level up.
Rich People think differently about most things in life: money, wealth, themselves, other people and pretty much everything in their lives…this in return creates, sustains and attracts wealth in every area… So I want to review these 17 Wealth Files and then we can break them down if you’d like in future episodes during the week. For now, I’d like you to just review them, think about them and even internalize them a bit. I promise that when you REALLY dig into them you will see that there are much more successful, positive and productive ways to “look at life”…and I think these Principles are a great way to start. So, Here we go… Wealth File #1 Rich people believe “I create my life.” Poor people believe “Life happens to me.” Wealth File #2 Rich people play the money game to win. Today I want to share with you some thoughts that might help you to realize the power of personal belief. I hope you will take some time to really think about and BELIEVE that you have greatness inside you. I believe you have so much to offer the world if you would learn to believe in yourself and your gifts.

How to Create Your Best Life Jul 27, 2020
    Show notes

Every Monday Morning I’d like to start the week by directing your focus back to one of the Core Principles that we have developed and highlight with the Daily Mastermind. The 12 Prosperity Pillars represent the most important principles that I have learned over time from Mentors and Thought Leaders in my life. The first of these key principles is the statement, “I Create My Life”. I believe this is one fo the most important principles that we need to learn, adopt, and create confidence and belief around. It is the Core Principle that many others principles are built around. It is super important that you truly learn to believe and have faith around the idea that YOU do create your life. Your thoughts, beliefs and actions will determine the results you achieve in life. When you accept the idea that you create your life, you can begin to craft and build the life you would like. If you do not believe this thought, you will always feel that life “happens to you rather than for you”. I truly believe that it is important to start accepting the idea that you are the one person that will create and build the life you want. No one else is going to do it for you. When you accept that idea, it empowers you and helps you to achieve much better results in life. I’d thought I would share a few ideas and strategies I have learned to help you create your life. I hope they will inspire you to start spending time working on creating your best life. Tips for Creating Best Life

    • Have a Clear Vision- we’ve discussed this topic before, but its super important that you spend time really getting clear on what you want your life to be like. Also, its important to remember that what you focus on grows. So when you focus on getting clear on your life, you will find ways to make that life a reality. When you don’t spend time getting clear, you will undoubtedly get whatever life “dishes out to you”.
    • Be Intentional Daily- another thing I’d like to suggest is that you should be intentional with where you spend your time and where you put priorities in your life. Successful people don’t let their schedules and days determine their priorities. Rather, successful people make sure that they schedule and priorities their day with activities that contribute to their overall goal.
    • Script Your Story- lets pretend for a moment that you were writing YOUR STORY. What would the plot be? What characters would you write into the story? What obstacles, challenges, life lessons and learning would you be committed to seeing written into the script? I believe that you do indeed write that story of your life. You can create the story and choose to overcome the challenges that you face because challenges are simply the stories that make your life interesting and worth living. Spend some time directing the script to be interpreted the way you “want it to be interpreted”. Put your own meaning on events. Don’t let events determine their own meaning.
    • Play at a High Level- it is also important to bring up the topic of “Awareness”. If you want to create your best life, you need to be “aware” of how you are living your life. How are you showing up and how are you playing at the game of life. Is it at a level 10 or a level 2? Are you giving each day your best effort or are you simply showing up. I know we can’t always be at our top level of performance. Even Professionals need rest and recovery, but it’s so important that you are “aware” of how you are performing. This requires tracking, feedback and even adjustments. I always recommend mentors, coaches and accountability partners if you want objective feedback in this area of your life.
    • Prioritize Your Life- obviously, the most critical thing you MUST do is to prioritize YOU and YOUR life. It’s hard for some people to prioritize themselves because they feel it makes them appear selfish or even self centered. If you have ever traveled on an airplane you know that they will instruct you to put your own mask on before anyone else in the event of an emergency. This is because the best way you can help others is to make sure that you are taken care of and that you are healthy and in the position to help others. I believe that the same principle applies in day to day life. When you work on creating a life that takes care of YOU and you are healthy, happy and fulfilled, then you will be infinitely better at being an inspiration to others around you. I spent much of my life working to satisfy other people needs, wants and desires, and I finally started putting myself first and it has made all the difference. I start each of my days focused on daily rituals that make me a better version of myself and it helps me to bring the “best version” of myself to the people that I love and care about.
Remember it’s Never Too Late to Live the Life You are Meant to Live… Quotes to Inspire You "Today is the first Day of the Rest of Your Life,” Charles Dederich. “You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance at doing what you love,” Jim Carrey “People overestimate what can be done in 1 year and underestimate what can be done in 10,” Bill Gates Throughout my life I have planned many of my big goals in the short term (6months to a year), and I have set very few long term goals. What happens with this is that you add unneeded pressure and the ups and downs associated with short term goals. When we take the advice of Bill Gates and plan our lives and business with a longer term business, we accomplish so much more. Also, you can gain very valuable perspective and patience when you take a longer term approach. I am not saying that you shouldn’t break your long term goals into shorter term milestones, but I am saying that most people lack the long term planning and therefore don’t maintain a “bigger vision” of what their life could ultimately become. As a result, they are forced to ride the ups and downs of the waves of life. Try to start with your vision long term and then work backwards. My goal with the Daily Mastermind is to help you Create the Life you were meant to live. I try to do this by providing you the motivation, inspiration and education that I feel can help you create the best version of yourself and Unleash Your True Potential. But ultimately, the work is up to you. You must be willing to accept that YOU CREATE YOUR LIFE. I know that you have greatness inside you. I know that you can make an impact on the work and that you will accomplish amazing things if you will Prioritize Your Life. I hope this message resonates with you and you will share it with others. 5 Tips for Navigating Through Life Jul 22, 2020

How is your week going? I hope you are doing amazing. But if not, it’s not too late to turn it around. Are you making the progress you want in your life, business, relationships, and personal growth? Every once in a while I will take a minute and sit down to analyze where I am with my life and business. It’s at times like these that I refer back to one of the greatest lessons I learned from my Mentor, Parter, and Friend Robert Stuberg. He would always talk to me about the PEARL Constellation. This word “PEARL” is an acronym for 5 key areas of life that we need to stay on top of to experience the best life possible. These areas are your Philosophy, Emotions, Activities, Results, and Lifestyle. Today on the podcast I want to go through these areas in an attempt to help you have some Waypoints to both Navigate and Center yourself to start achieving more and staying on track. I hope you enjoy. George Wright III

The Alter Ego Effect by Todd Herman Jul 20, 2020
    Show notes

So excited to share this concept of the Alter Ego Effect by Todd Herman… Some of the greatest athletes, celebrities, entrepreneurs and others created alter egos that allowed them to show up a high level deputies outside influences, lack of confidence and belief. I believe this book is an amazing way to hack your outer game while you work on the inner game and develop and growth as an individual and entrepreneur… I want to highlight just a few items form the book but really encourage you to pick up the book or audiobook so you can dig in deep to creating an alter ego and hacking your level of success at a quick and effective pace... The Power of the Alter Ego Effect comes from YOU HAVE A CORE SELF...The Core Self is where possibility exists. It’s this deep inner core where a creative force resides waiting to be activated by the power of intention. Because human beings have this incredible ability to imagine, create, and decide, it gives you the opportunity to change something in an instant. The PROBLEM is when we start confusing all the other layers that influence our thinking, emotions, and behaviors with who we “really are”. There are 4 other layers that influence. -core drivers layer (what motivates you) -belief layer (how you define yourself) -action layer (how you show up) -the field of play (whats happening) All these layers influence and shape you think feel and see yourself in relation to the different areas of your life (filed of play). In the Ordinary Worlds you can find a Trapped Self, and in the Extraordinary World you can find a Heroic Self. Both of these represent the typical experience someone feels, depending on how they’re approaching and experience a Field of Play. The Hidden Forces of the Enemy The Enemy is a force creating inner conflict and stopping you from showing up as your Heroic Self. The Enemy is stealing your moment from you, and keeping you tucked away, safe and sound, in the Ordinary World. The Common Forces that can hold us back from achieving our goals are things like: Not controlling our emotions Lacking self-confidence Worrying about what others may think of us Doubting our abilities Taking more risks in life Not being intentional A bad attitude There are Hidden Forces that are harder to detect and can control your life like strings on a puppet. They come in the form of: Imposter syndrome. Personal trauma. Narratives. If you’re not clear about what or who needs to be showing up on your Field of Play, you can end up carrying a Trapped Self onto that fields that won’t serve you. Awareness of Your Ordinary World and Your Extraordinary World Empowers YOU. The Power of Your Story For a moment in time, just a few minutes even, anyone can suspend the stories they’ve been carrying with them on the Field of Play and in a Moment of Impact. Anyone can overcome whatever Hidden Force is holding them back or change whatever story they’ve been living out. All it takes is your willingness to suspend your disbelief. Choosing Your Extraordinary World To begin the process of getting clear about your goals, outcomes, or results we’l start with your Field of Play, what would you like to: Continue experiencing/continue getting as a result/continue achieving Experience more of/get more of/achieve more of Start experiencing/start achieving/start getting The Power of a Mission The great characters in movies and literature, they all seem to be fighting for something bigger than themselves. And even the ones that start out doing good deeds for selfish reasons end up finding deeper meaning in their labors. It gives the effort, struggle, and challenge a higher purpose. When you begin to attach what you’re trying to achieve to something larger that yourself, it delivers a deeper purpose to you mission. Whatever gets you onto the fields and gets you moving is all matters. Defining Your Superpowers and Crafting the Name The Superpowers you select for your Alter Ego will be the ones you need the most to ensure you show up as your Heroic Self on your Field of Play or during a Moment of Impact. Start with superpowers. How do you want your Alter Ego to show up during your Moment of Impact? What or who represents the adjectives you selected? Is there someone you associate confidence with? Choose someone or something you admire. What is it about this person, thing, or animal you admire? What traits(or Superpowers) do they possess? It’s right in front of you. Is there someone from your past whom you have a connection with or who feels like a kindred spirit? The best Alter Ego is the one you have the deepest emotional connection with; emotional connection trumps everything. Ultimately you decide who is going to show up on the Field of Play in your life. Is it going to be Your Heroic Self or your Ordinary self…. You decide at what level you will play the game of life and what skills and talents you will bring to the field… I understand we are all growing and working on become the best versions of ourselves, but this book (the alter ego concept) has given me an amazing way to immediately jump into a “best version of myself” through visualization and imagination. I wont even begin to discuss the science, neurology and history that has proven this to be an effective hack for growth and peak performance…you’ll have to research for yourself or read in the book. For now, I hope this is something that can help you to elevate your game and perform at an extremely high level. The indirect benefit is that you will create new experiences and new levels of achievement which will in turn increase your confidence, belief and success in your life.
